    House Roasted Turkey Panini*
    Nicole F.

We both had their turkey club sandwiches. There was a good amount of meat in each of the sandwiches and they were tasty. I got the house chips with mine and my friend got potato wedges. The wedges were a bit on the burnt side. Our server was friendly. We ate here prior to a movie that was in the same lot. They had some tasty looking cocktail drinks but we just stuck with water today.

Very small quiche and mini popover for $9.99/ Not a good value.

Decent food and service however the portions are very small. I had the quiche. It came with a small bowl of fruit and a mini popover. It was a super small piece of quiche and the popover was gone in 3 bites. Not a good value for $9.99

Popovers was so terrific and helpful in creating a Trolls birthday cake for my daughter - she loved it and it was not only beautiful but delicious too. I did not have a ton of ideas or clear "vision" and Pam helped come up with a great plan for this cake. We did the convenient pickup at Galley Hatch. Highly recommend!

This place is an overpriced joke! I completely understand that COVID has made it really hard for places to come up with new rules and seating but.... $50 for this and you have to find a menu, seat yourself then go to the counter and order your meals, pay for it right then and there. And someone brings it your table.. if you want another drink what do you do?! Who do you ask?? And you have to clean up your own plates and no one even comes to wipe down the tables?!? (We noticed this with other people getting up and leaving and someone else would sit down and didn't know the table was dirty, like us.. we thought it was already cleaned??) They should at least leave cleaning spray on the table?! Food was good, nothing outstanding

Place is horrible. They are overpriced. Cauliflower was under cooked, service was bad, and scallop sauce was nothing special.

I ordered a salad of spinach, goat cheese, maple glazed berries (something new to me) and a large popover with maple butter.

Wonderful Portuguese / Azorean restaurant in Newmarket. Spencer and Amanda (The chef with Azorean…read moreroots) were welcoming. Spencer made me The Golden Mash, a delicious bourbon based drink with homemade ingredients. The bread and butter were perfection, no bakery in the seacoast can compare and the salt balance was the best I've had in years. The salt cod cakes were sensational although they could have been a bit more crispy. The cavatelli tasted as if was all fresh from the garden and wasn't too filling because it was complemented with vegetables grown locally on a farm in Lee. This was the hit of the evening! The kitchen is open and spotless. The ventilation is excellent. The decor is beautiful and I would put this on the list of the top restaurants in the Seacoast Cons: the menu is limited, I hope they offer a greater variety of entrees or specials as this would draw us back more often

The bar serves up cocktails, mixed drinks, and their house wines & vermouth (also available for retail purchase). The food menu is limited due to small kitchen space, offering boards (cheeses, meats), snacks, small plates, larger plates, and desserts. The prices are moderate high. After making a reservation online for a bar seat, I stopped in Hopestill for food. The place was busy with all 4-5 tables occupied and the bar seats half filled. The bartender was very busy making drinks & taking orders and the chef was making food and serving to customers. It took a bit before I could order. For a small plate, the Salt Cod Cakes ($13 plus tax), 3 small soft cod cakes (very hot) plated with paprika aioli & pickled celeriac. I finished in a few bites. For a larger plate, the Beef Shank Cacoila ($29 plus tax) was served very hot in a bowl, which had slow braised beef shank, fregola, sweet & spicy peppers and Portuguese olive oil. This dish had good flavors and I had half of it boxed to go for later on. I passed on dessert and got the check which came out to $45.58 with tax and before tip. Overall, I enjoyed the tasty food here in a cozy and classic bar atmosphere. The service was adequate, though a bit delayed due to the limitations of the space and staffing.

We chose seats at the comfortable-looking bar, which was a great spot to start the evening and soak in the warm, antique, historical vibe of the space -- lots of character without feeling stuffy. We built our own dinner from a mix of appetizers, and everything we tried was excellent. The local cheese plate featured a soft, brie-like cheese that was rich and delicious. We also ordered the mussels, which were a standout -- especially the mustard component. I wouldn't have expected mustard to pair so well with mussels, but it absolutely worked and added a surprising depth of flavor. There was also a chicken dumpling special that was comforting, well-seasoned, and very satisfying. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The service at the bar was fantastic. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful when offering advice on what to order, which made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. We're already looking forward to our next visit and trying more of the menu.

My duck breast was a bit fatty and tough without the crispy outside one would expect. But the flavors were good. Dessert (the French-style chocolate pudding) an my cocktail (can't remember the name but something with ghost pepper) were both delicious.
