First time, I was starving and grabbed a two-piece meal with shrimp while I was paying for my gas. I was skeptical since it's inside a gas station. That first meal was absolutely fire. The chicken was crispy, well seasoned, and not greasy. And the shrimp? Breaded and seasoned perfectly. Hit the spot completely. So I went back for a second visit just to see if it was a one-hit wonder and nope, it wasn't. I got the exact same meal and grabbed some other stuff to share, and I'm so glad I did. Not everyone can fry chicken. It needs to be well seasoned and fried to perfection and able to stand all on its own, no help from sauce. Bob's Hienies definitely passes the test and is worth a stop. Bonus: if you spend over $30, you get a free car wash worth $20, so that made my trip even better. But that's just my palate, don't take my word for it. Try it out and let me know what you think.

The service was fast & the food was very delicious. Customer Service: The staff we interacted with were friendly. It only waited for a little bit and then our order was ready. Food/Drinks: I ordered my usual, the Caniac combo (No coleslaw and sub for a Texas toast) with a Sprite light ice. It was very delicious! Tip to customers: I highly recommend asking for light ask because at some locations, they will fill the big cup with ice and not so much of your drink. By the way, Cane's ice hits different. I'm an ice lover and the ice is crunchy but also not too crunchy. Overall Experience: Overall, I always have a great first experience at the new location. I didn't get the full experience since I went through the drive thru, but next time, I definitely gotta to order at the restaurant and enjoy the outdoor patio. Gloria and Will were respectful and patient as I figured out what my aunt decided her order over the phone ( I hate not knowing g my order while at the register, love you, Aunty). Now, the food, I wish I had taken a picture. My wife had perch and wings; I had wings; my aunt had wings, too. Not only was the fish light and crispy, but it didn't taste like the chicken at all. You can tell they didn't take any shortcuts in using the same grease. The wings were sooooo good, fried just right. I'm a hot-and-mild person, so the proportions of both were spot on. Third time, I was actually able to place an order and pay, but after about 5 minutes of sitting there waiting for my order, I was told that they were out of chicken breasts and did I want to substitute something else like dark meat or fish. I did not and asked for a refund only to be told that nobody there had the code to do a refund and the owner would refund my order at a later time. When I commented that this was the third time I was unable to get food the lady told me that I could get food, just not the food that I wanted. So rude and unprofessional. I went in the next day to talk the owner and he showed me that the order had been refunded and offered to give me a half white the next time I came in. So today I go to the store at 5 o'clock PM and the door is locked, no sign on the door, no people in sight. I have never had to work this hard to get a restaurant to take my money. I would prefer to support a local business rather than go to a big chain restaurant. The owners seem like really nice people (only reason I was willing to try a fourth time), but this kind of service is just unacceptable.

The staff member was having a difficult time understanding me but we got my order in and everything seemed clear! When we went to pick up our food, we noticed the inside wasn't super clean and they had fans on in both eating areas. The woman at the register helped a couple of others before calling me up so I could pay for our order. There was no confirmation of items just my name. When our food was ready, they were missing the small french fry. She immediately got defensive saying she didn't charge me for it and I could pay still. Another staff from the back came out and also chimed in. I was happy to pay for the fry but everything is made to order so we had to wait a bit. The food here is very good. The wings weren't as crispy as normal but that could have been from the wait. Overall, there could be some service improvements made and better communication among staff.
