We placed an order for pickup for a party. When we went to pick it up the place was a dirty disgusting mess. Food all over and just plain unclean and we were there at 11:15 am. The food was just ok. Not hot. The sloppiness inside made us hesitant to even eat the food we ordered. I can say with certainty that if a health inspector saw what we saw, they would be shut down. read more

I usually don't complain about the price of food but this is ridiculous. Subway was cash only and I usually don't carry cash so I stopped here My god. A three piece white. No drink with one side was $9. Are you kidding?? The white meat wasn't even two breasts. It was two wings!!! Two measly wings and one breast with a biscuit and one side for $9. Kfc gives you a damn cookie two sides and drink with two breasts and a wing. Lol forget this place. I will say the young lady there was friendly. The last time I was there some snotty blond chick was there and I swore this place off. I should have updated the pics of the menu because the menu posted on yelp is obsolete. Good luck! read more

I have to downgrade my ratings a bit. I was in about a week ago and overpaid for some terrible, freezer-burned fish. It was the frozen kind as when I cut the filet, water and oil dripped from it. The taste was meh, but I moved on to the shrimp. It had too much breaking for my taste and at $5 for 6 pieces was terribly overpriced. The washroom needed a good cleaning and the soap dispenser was busted but they did have peppermint had soap which was nice. I want to like this location, I have had. Browns growing up but this location has failed me. Too many pre packaged things, nothing tasted fresh, and the biscuits are disgusting. Wretched things from the old west, yuck. Fries were greasy. The saving grace was the chicken tender, it was cooked to perfection. But that can't save my experience. Save your money and get your Chicken at Berkots, for half the price. read more

I normally don't leave reviews but in this case I made an exception. First off I have not been to this location in a few years and I must say that I was very disappointed with the cost and the quality of the food. I ordered a jumbo tenders meal which came with a biscuit for $6.99. I added a large fry and a can of pop and the total cost with tax was $14.50. Now I know that inflation is off the charts, and I would've been fine with the cost had the meal been as good as it was in the past. Which I'm sad to say wasn't even close. Years past you could get the jumbo tenders dinner with a fry and biscuit and fountain drink for $6.99. The only thing that was decent or the fries. And the only thing that resembled the meal from years past was the fact that it's still cooked to order. But the chicken had hardly any flavor and was over cooked (dry. I'm guessing that this location is under new ownership as I didn't see the previous proprietor on the premises. I don't think I'll be giving this establishment any more of my business. read more

Normally the food is fresh here and I make this a monthly stop to satisfy my fried chicken cravings. Yesterday, I stopped at the Lockport, IL location to buy an individual meal and redeem a coupon from the Chicago Tribune for a small order of mushrooms. To my dismay the rude young girl at the counter stated "we don't honor those coupons". No apology, no reason, just a smug look on her face. I was so angry, I said forget it and walked out. Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but that's a terrible way to treat customers. I've got other alternatives and don't need rude treatment. read more

I paid 23 something for an 8 piece family meal with three sides the mac and cheese was cold and really disturbing poor quality at best .me I can heat it up myself and eat it later. I ordered the four wing dinner. The wings were cooked to perfection. However after getting through the crust the inside was dark. Can't go wrong with the chicken here. We always use them for our parties and have never had any issues. I can't speak to really much else on the menu outside the chicken and pasta bc it's all we ever get. If you need some chicken catered I would suggest using them. You won't be disappointed. read more

Extremely poor service. Came in with a coupon for $6.99 8 Piece Dark and would not accept. The first time this happened a couple of months ago and thought maybe they were just having a bad day. That time was the offer was too good so they were not accepting it. Gave them another try yesterday and said coupon was expired but it was the last date of the offer. Last Night we had an event catered by Brown's Chicken. Mike at Brown's did a fantastic job helping me with the food needs and having it delivered right on time. The Chicken especially was fantastic and many people asked me where it came from and one person said it was the best they have had in along time.
