First time here at Brown's Chicken was good, sandwich was juicy. Just two people so idk if they get crazy business. Walking in it was nice, small place but all in all not too bad! Price was reasonable would recommend, help your local businesses! read more

Attached pic's show the chicken, one whole and one cut in half, it is now 3 days since purchase. Because of the holiday I did not call the location to complain. Never in my life have I received a piece chicken like this. read more

One guy working doing it all, 38 minute wait for two pieces of chicken. Chicken was plenty hot, but was pretty oily. Doesn't seem up to the quality on the past. Ambiance was that of any fast food joint. read more

We placed an order for pickup for a party. When we went to pick it up the place was a dirty disgusting mess. Food all over and just plain unclean and we were there at 11:15 am. The food was just ok. Not hot. The sloppiness inside made us hesitant to even eat the food we ordered. I can say with certainty that if a health inspector saw what we saw, they would be shut down. read more

Ordered from there yesterday, very dirty inside and the chicken was dry. Total waste of money!

They changed ownership n the chicken is fresh they make every order fresh.. clean n love the new owners n v help.. worth every penny food is fantastic! read more

I haven't eaten at Browns Chicken in decade. I decided to stop in for dinner in a pinch. The restaurant was clean and I was greeted immediately when I walked in the door. I placed a large order (large family) and the whole thing was made fresh to order. the chicken was cooked through and still juicy. The shrimp were huge and delicious. The mashed potatoes were hot and delicious. The manager or owner Moe was very polite, offered a very pleasant conversation and even helped me carry my order out to my car. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. I do recommend ordering ahead of time if you can't wait. read more

I haven't been to Brown's in ages. The pieces were huge and hot. I don't think I've seen such big pieces in the past from Browns! New owner, Mo, was very courteous and told me if there was any issues to contact him and he would make it right. No issues this time! Everything was great!! read more

Store always makes my order fresh. Owner is wonderful and friendly. Whenever I'm in town visiting family, I always make a stop at this browns! Highly recommended!!! read more

Amazing food amazing service grandma was the best food came quick and yummy best chicken in the state

I saw a local Facebook post raving about the new owner and had to check it out. We haven't had Browns in years so was excited to try it again. The owner was AMAZING! I've never felt so welcomed into an establishment! She was so friendly! And the food was just as good as I remember growing up and my family loved it too! Will definitely be back! read more

I usually don't complain about the price of food but this is ridiculous. Subway was cash only and I usually don't carry cash so I stopped here My god. A three piece white. No drink with one side was $9. Are you kidding?? The white meat wasn't even two breasts. It was two wings!!! Two measly wings and one breast with a biscuit and one side for $9. Kfc gives you a damn cookie two sides and drink with two breasts and a wing. Lol forget this place. I will say the young lady there was friendly. The last time I was there some snotty blond chick was there and I swore this place off. I should have updated the pics of the menu because the menu posted on yelp is obsolete. Good luck! read more

Normally the food is fresh here and I make this a monthly stop to satisfy my fried chicken cravings. Yesterday, I stopped at the Lockport, IL location to buy an individual meal and redeem a coupon from the Chicago Tribune for a small order of mushrooms. To my dismay the rude young girl at the counter stated "we don't honor those coupons". No apology, no reason, just a smug look on her face. I was so angry, I said forget it and walked out. Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but that's a terrible way to treat customers. I've got other alternatives and don't need rude treatment. read more

I have to downgrade my ratings a bit. I was in about a week ago and overpaid for some terrible, freezer-burned fish. It was the frozen kind as when I cut the filet, water and oil dripped from it. The taste was meh, but I moved on to the shrimp. It had too much breaking for my taste and at $5 for 6 pieces was terribly overpriced. The washroom needed a good cleaning and the soap dispenser was busted but they did have peppermint had soap which was nice. I want to like this location, I have had. Browns growing up but this location has failed me. Too many pre packaged things, nothing tasted fresh, and the biscuits are disgusting. Wretched things from the old west, yuck. Fries were greasy. The saving grace was the chicken tender, it was cooked to perfection. But that can't save my experience. Save your money and get your Chicken at Berkots, for half the price. read more

I paid 23 something for an 8 piece family meal with three sides the mac and cheese was cold and really disturbing poor quality at best .me I can heat it up myself and eat it later. It was terrible tasting right out of the bag and I came straight home the mashed potatoes were cool not hot like a skin in or on the potatoes the chicken itself was ok a little too greasy.. ive had much better browns . read more

I normally don't leave reviews but in this case I made an exception. First off I have not been to this location in a few years and I must say that I was very disappointed with the cost and the quality of the food. I ordered a jumbo tenders meal which came with a biscuit for $6.99. I added a large fry and a can of pop and the total cost with tax was $14.50. Now I know that inflation is off the charts, and I would've been fine with the cost had the meal been as good as it was in the past. Which I'm sad to say wasn't even close. Years past you could get the jumbo tenders dinner with a fry and biscuit and fountain drink for $6.99. The only thing that was decent or the fries. And the only thing that resembled the meal from years past was the fact that it's still cooked to order. But the chicken had hardly any flavor and was over cooked (dry. I'm guessing that this location is under new ownership as I didn't see the previous proprietor on the premises. I don't think I'll be giving this establishment any more of my business. read more

I ordered a bulk order online yesterday. The food was being packaged as I got there just 20 minutes later. It was piping hot and they were super friendly! read more

I ordered the four wing dinner. The wings were cooked to perfection. However after getting through the crust the inside was dark. The chicken was either old or they didn't take the time to properly clean the slim and blood. I will never visit this place again. Old chicken. Kosher Chicken for now on.. read more

They have really good food here, with surprisingly a large variety of food that does not include chicken! FAST service and very reasonably priced for good-size portions as well! read more

Can't go wrong with the chicken here. We always use them for our parties and have never had any issues. I can't speak to really much else on the menu outside the chicken and pasta bc it's all we ever get. If you need some chicken catered I would suggest using them. You won't be disappointed. read more

Always very good service. I have never had an issue with the chicken not being fresh or cooked properly. I have always found this to be on one of the better run Browns Chicken read more

Extremely poor service. Came in with a coupon for $6.99 8 Piece Dark and would not accept. The first time this happened a couple of months ago and thought maybe they were just having a bad day. That time was the offer was too good so they were not accepting it. Gave them another try yesterday and said coupon was expired but it was the last date of the offer. Owner was very rude and combative at this Lockport location. read more

Last Night we had an event catered by Brown's Chicken. Mike at Brown's did a fantastic job helping me with the food needs and having it delivered right on time. The Chicken especially was fantastic and many people asked me where it came from and one person said it was the best they have had in along time. Thanks again for the great food and personal help in making it a great night in Lockport!!! read more
