Tried a 3rd table....very sticky but I stayed at the 3rd table. Had the blue cheese burger. It was good; definitely hand made; not frozen. Had a very nice char on the outside. Not the best burger ever, but good. The fries were Sad. Other reviews said fries were amazing. So I was excited to try. Mine were extremely cold. I assume made maybe during busy lunch... and cold by the time I was there at 1pm? I didn't bother requesting new fries. Just left them alone and finished my burger. Good burger but mediocre experience overall.

Being new to the Lemont/ Lockport area and coming from the near west burbs, I'm looking to find a…read moregood pizza spot that isn't a chain. Nancy's is a consistently decent spot with a few caveats. But alas, a chain. Pizza at the Point.. bleh. Alright, onto the next joint. Tried this place out with my simple go-to topping duo-sausage/ onion. I do long-cut caramelized onions, and of course they couldn't accommodate. That's fine. Do you atleast just have long cut onion? No. Diced. Sigh... Expensive little pizza. Bitter sauce... or was it spoiling cheese? Either way, that was the over arching flavor profile--bitter. Microscopic onion bits. I thought the sausage was halfway decent. Wife felt it was dry. Ordered easy well, was announced as well done when I arrived to pickup, and was barely done. Sheesh. They couldn't even cover the entire pizza with cheese, as I had a washed out section with just sauce. "Well maybe it was a busy night and they were moving and shaking!" Nah. Dead Monday night, place was empty. They garnered a 2-star because their breaded mushroom app was pretty good. It honestly saved the evening, for me at least. But to put it in perspective and sum it up, my wife was coming home late and fiending for pizza. When we get a good pizza from somewhere, it's usually at least an 18" and it ends up demolished. This 16" thing was barely half eaten before everyone threw in the towel. The bitterness was overwhelming. Doughy and bitter tasting. I wasn't even going to leave a review but instead move on, but I combed through some of the reviews and quickly found somebody talking about the bitter flavor as well which prompted this. That's a wild flavor profile that you would never think to relate to pizza. Someone posted on a Lockport Facebook page asking what the best pizza spot was in the area. One of the commenters stated, "Doesn't exist." And I'm beginning to fear this is true.

Do with that knowledge as you wish. I had one mild and one medium slider. It was just ok. I think I might like the mild better. Had some dipping sauce, (thinking raising canes) it was decent. Comes with slaw and pickle on a bun. Service was nice and polite. Chicken was hot and fresh. Fries have seasoning on them, some cajun flavor i believe, they were good would have been better hotter. Solid.

To happy to see Happy Bites has expanded from their Tinley Park location to Lemont & Romeoville!…read moreThe Lemont location has been open since June of 2024. The inside is smaller but very clean. The staff was very welcoming, gave us time to look at the menu, and was very professional. We decided to take advantage of the 60 cent boneless wing special as well as try their famous Nectar of the Gods burger. The 18 piece wing (half hot honey, half sweet habanero) wasn't too spicy but always had a good amount of breading, is crisp, and sauced well. The Nectar of the Gods burger had a lightly grilled bun, juicy burger, and i loved the melty cheese/sauce pairing! The fries also have a light peppering which I love. Happy Bites continues to be a consistent go-to for me and my family in the south burbs. I crave it when I visit, travels well to carry out, and portions are a good size to share. The weekly specials are great to take advantage of to keep costs reasonable!
