The place is difficult to get into the parking lot. Crazy three way intersection and a really tight parking lot. Once inside the place is supper small and very difficult to even stand inside. They are really busy with tons of business though. The service was friendly and professional once you could get their attention to place your order. I had the small shrimp dinner with mashed potato's. The shrimp were small, I thought small meant quantity. The shrimp were soggy and not tasty at all. The mashed potato's were good. My wife had 4 chicken strips with mashed potato's. Her chicken was over cooked and dry. The order took way to long to get. And I actually took the wrong order first and had to turn around to bring it back. The order process is chaotic and the experience was stressful. Sorry, but we will never be back.

I had to add salt, pepper and msg to their clam chowder for flavor and the clams were too finely minced. And finally the house special seasoning for their seafood boil could have much more flavor (old bay, lemon juice, more garlic, etc), the potatoes would have been better if sliced in half, sausage had quite a bit of cartilage,, and I had intact shells still on my headless shrimp which was a bit of a pain. but the broccoli was great because it absorbed a lot of the butter sauce.

Stoney Point Grill was the latest spot of my food exploration quest and it was the best so far. The Smokehouse burger was so delicious it had me feeling warm and fuzzy all over my body even hours after I ate it. The flavor combination was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this burger. Along with the burger the side i had with it was sauteed garlic green beans and yup, delicious as well. I was so happy with this meal. I went halfies with my nephew so he got half of my burger and I got half of his tacos. That was a bad trade because the burger was amazing and the tacos, well they weren't amazing. They were good but nothing special. If I was ordering the tacos I would've went with the corn shell, maybe that would've tasted a bit better. I also had a bowl of French Onion Soup and as for that, the broth was really good, the bead was really soggy, and I know it's hard not to get soggy being that its submerged in a bowl of steaming hot broth but I just really enjoy a little crispy in the bread. As for the onions, they were good but the cheese was a little disappointing. Seems like they skimped out on the cheese. Pluse there wasn't a lot of the crusty burnt cheese around the rim of the bowl and barely no melted cheese draping the sides of the bowl and picking off that crusty cheese and eating it is one of the best parts of eating FOS to me so that was a bit disappointing. To was it all down I had an IPA ( Brothership Nectar on Max) and that drink hit the spot along with a Yuengling of course. All in all highly recommend this spot. Service was good, bar tender was great and the prices are wonderful.

I'm writing this review because of the inconsistency of their service hours. The restaurant has…read morevery good food and you really can't find any soul food like this in the Joliet area. But when you state that your service hours starts at 11:30am, the customers expect for the restaurant to be open and ready to serve. Probably at least 5 times have I encountered the restaurant not ready to serve stating they are 30 minutes to an hour behind in opening. This is dissatisfying especially when you're trying to get lunch or dinner without rushing back to work. My opinion is if you feel you can't hold true to opening at 11:30 as you state on your google account, kindly update your service times. I hope this reaches to the owner of this establishment because you can start losing loyal customers that love the service and food that you give.

Visited Mo's Chinese Kitchen on a Tuesday afternoon…read more We were seated right away but it took a while for our server to arrive at the table. He brought us waters, but then departed again. He came back and asked if we were ready to order and we told him we'd like to order a couple drinks. It took a while for the drinks. When he dropped ff the drinks he left again without taking our order. This seemed to be the way service was going to be and it was. Food was slow, forgot the soup I ordered. On a positive note we ordered hot & sour soup, an appetizer platter and the chicken dumplings. The sweet and sour soup arrived only after I mentioned I had ordered it and we had already started on our other food. The soup was spicy which I enjoyed, it was filled with vegetables and some pieces of chicken. The broth was a little thin for my taste but overall it was good. The appetizer platter included 2 battered shrimp which were a little overwhelmed by the heavy breading, 2 egg rolls that were decently filled with vegetables and a nice proportion of pork, 2 crab rangoons that were filled nicely and had a good taste, 2 pieces of breaded chicken that were not dry, 2 beef on a stick which were enjoyed and a portion of bbq pork which was tender and sauced nicely. The chicken dumplings came in an order of 8. They were tasty but there could have been more chicken. Our overall experience was slightly affected by the slow service and the fact that our server seemed distant and disengaged. We enjoyed our food an will return.

Waitress and waiter was friendly enough AT FIRST but using the Clipp.com coupon was like pulling teeth! She literally took my phone to show the manager and didn't come back for like 5 minutes. I shouldn't have given them my phone since I have a lot of sensitive information on there. I did not like that Mo's obviously did a deal with Clipp.com but when the time comes to use the coupon, no one knows what's going on. Guys, it was for $7.25 off of a $15 Gozilla roll. Not like it's $100 off. It shouldn't be this difficult. I've used my coupon at Clipp.com plenty of times at other places and never a problem. Why do a promotion when you really don't want your customers to use them. It made me feel like I'm begging for a discount when it was THEIR deal on Clipp.com. Good was delicious and hot and flavorful. Drinks was also delicious and strong. I had their long Island iced tea and it was pretty good. I wish I could give them more than 3 stars but although we did sit there for quite a long time chatting since we haven't seen each other for a while, they stopped giving us water once the bill was paid. It just made me feel like they can care less about us with not so good service once we finished eating. I will give them another try just because the food was good and hopefully my next experience will be better than this one just because I used a coupon.
