Shopping in University City, San Diego, California... This is the second Pop Mart for me. My first visit was in Seattle. The stores are similar. The display in the front was the new Pin for Life series of Labubu. Of course they were sold out! I wasn't really interested in anything else. There are so many different types of blind boxes. I can't keep up! There was a Pop Mart vending machine outside, but I didn't see any Pin for Love Labubus... the Version 4, vinyl plushies. I'll travel somewhere else and keep looking... haha! Or... order online... I'm leaning towards this idea... LOL!

Located across from Macys Next to Abercrombie and Fitch. This famous "toy"/ blind boxes store is home to the viral "Labubus". Forewarning before coming: if you're looking for a labubu or new drops download the "Popmart" app and look at the Store Pick up Option. This will save you time to buy, or know when the new drops come out. Most of their popular items would not be in store and purchased this way ONLY. Other than that, everything is highly organized and easy to look around to see what cute things you could get for yourself or a gift. It may be small, but it's worth it to see what any item looks like in person. My favorites: Labubu Monsters Collections Space & Baby Molly Hacipupu Series Crybaby Series

Tinier than I expected but still a line to get in. Sold out of Labubus, no outfits. Lots of mini figurines like Cry Baby, Space Molly, Minions, Zootopia. Pretty much all blind boxes. First time so novel experience for me.

I had really positive experience for my first time at Pop Mart. I love how bright and clean the store was when I entered. The toys on the tables and shelves were sooo organized. I was able to navigate the store for what I was looking for. Importantly, staff were super-duper friendly and helpful. There was no long line. I was able to get in and out...eazzzy peazzy.

Westfield UTC Mall just browsing and waiting in line. It's a small store so be patient! Ordered for pick up via APP , and a few other items that I really did not need to start collecting but they are cute toys MIMOO WORLD, THE MONSTERS, HIROMO SHELTER FIGURINES, TWINKLE TWINKLE :) Staff Helpful and Friendly

Came by on a Wednesday afternoon to try and score some Labubu's, not knowing how difficult it is to get one. I know I'm late to the game. The store was pretty busy and well organized. I saw some Labubu's on display but they were not available for purchase. I had a quick chat with a store employee and he mentioned how I can try and get my hands on these monsters. I did end up spending almost $100 on 5 or 6 items, but no Labubu's. It's quite an expensive place to indulge in the latest trend! But if you have money to throw, this is a great place to do so, especially if you have a young child. My experience was rather pleasant and I will be back to spend some more money in the future.

Walking up to the store it is such a great obvious welcoming that it is Popmart. They also do a great usage of their big figurines, welcoming you into the store, but that's about it. There wasn't a lot of staff that said hi or was welcoming or suggesting help. They were just pretty much working around the store and not welcoming or offering customer service. Although customer service was slacking, they had a huge selection of different figurines and a lot of popular items that were just launched and they did a great job at restocking the boxes. They had the latest launch that was being advertised outside the door and in store adding value to what you're getting and making Worth the trip to come check out this location. Average price there was no major discounts or anything like that but overall, if you know, PopMart, you know what to expect the store size was average which was like a medium. It wasn't too small and it wasn't too large. They did a great job. I keep it clean and ventilated . It got popular, but the traffic was very much in and out when I went in there there was no line, but I have heard that sometimes there is a line outdoors highly recommend checking out if it is one of my favorite locations to.

I love Pop Mart. I am a labubu fiend. Yes it sucks to come in sometimes and not find any of the items you want but I definitely wouldn't take it out on the employees. Imagine how they feel, they have to deal with aggressive people and complaints all day, I would look tired too. Everything I have ever bought from Pop Mart has been high quality. My current hyperfixation is labubu so I will always buy labubu when I see one.

    Inaccurate pick up time.

PICK UP ISSUE (PER EMAIL CONFIRMATION) INACCURATE PICK UP TIME was after store is closed. I had a pickup at this location. I am not from this area but decided to pick up here because we had a graduation to attend. I have never done a pick up at any Popmart but I know that I have to wait for an email confirmation from the store which I received. The email said pick up by 11:40pm the next day. I went at 10pm and they were closed. Because of this inaccuracy of the time in my confirmation email I missed my window. My order was canceled and refunded. I could have come earlier when the store closed at 8pm. I assumed they had after hour pick up times which it stated in the email to pick up by 11:40pm. I did a little research after this incident and other stores say pick up before the store closes/check store hours for pick up. Other stores also give 48 hours, THIS STORE does not (ONLY 24 HOURs). This tells me although the store manager says it's not up to them and they can't do anything, the fact that other stores have different times and policies tells me that they absolutely can make changes but choose not too. The store manager needs to write to corporate to change this INACCURATE pick up time. If it's happened to me I am sure it's happened to many other ppl as well. The store manager I spoke to was kind and polite. He spoke very nicely to me but he continued to tell me that I needed to write to corporate about this inaccuracy of times and email. I think it will help even more if he actually made a suggestion to corporate instead of me. I bet he could even change what the email says and change the times so there aren't any misunderstandings.

The delight and wonder in my children's eyes bring back the magic from earlier years and let me relive it all again through them. Geppetto's has toys everywhere you look; cars, dolls, books, bears, crafts, quirky knickknacks, blocks, balls, trucks, puppets, and everything in between. The store is packed with products yet maintains a classy and organized feel (unlike other giant toy stores). They let kids play with toys around the shop and the atmosphere is energetic and fun. Prices are steep; very steep...however the toys are top notch quality and you are in a tourist spot, so everything is pricey. Geppetto's is a must visit for anyone who has ever loved or currently loves to play.

My kids love ending our little outings here and picking up a toy. Price wise you are paying for boutique/experience but it's really not that much compared to buying it at major department stores. They also carry toys that are not sold online/elsewhere. Soif you are looking for Legos or calico critters that are hard to find stop at a gepettos if you see one. I have found some Polly pocket sets that are sold out or in limited supply.

We had never flown a kite before and when we went, there wasn't much wind, so we weren't sure if we could get a kite up in the air or not. We asked if they offered rentals, and he said that he has loaner kites that we could fly if we wanted at no charge. I thought that was super nice. We were able to get our loaner kite in the air and it was cute to hear families tell their kids to "look at the mermaid in the air!" I was able to make some good memories and spend an idyllic afternoon flying the kite, and I really wanted to support the business so we bought our own kite. This seems like such a fun (and appropriate) store for a shopping center like Seaport Village! My son thought the pirate themed items were great! There were clothes for adults and children alike. I thought the onesie that said "I smell trouble" was just too cute. They have pirate shirts and hats. The huge selection of guns was truly unique. There were lots of signs, plaques, and even wall art. There are items even hanging from the ceiling here. The nautical items are my favorite things to explore here. Brass bells, signs, and clocks are throughout the store. I really like lighthouses, and we found the cutest jewelry box and snow globe. We liked them so much that we ended up buying both. They had some nice compasses and clocks that would make nice gifts for anyone who likes nautical stuff. The service was good here too. The salesperson who rang up our items was both thoughtful and sweet. She made sure to ask if we found everything we were looking for and wrapped our items with such care. She was also very knowledgable about the items here too. If you're anywhere near Seaport Village and need to buy a gift for someone who likes nautical or pirate themed items, you'll never go wrong with stopping by Captain's Cove for a unique gift!!
