Really small location. I miss the Pop Bean bar. Employees are really nice and friendly. I've always had great customer service I've gone to this location. Love that things have resumed back to normal and there is no more Labubu craze. Since their location is small, they don't get a lot of stock of stuff, they have to make do with what space they have. The stock for the in-store pickup on the app/site is sometimes not accurate. But employees will help you find what you're looking for if they have it. They have new releases every week, so it can be overwhelming if you're new to Pop Mart. It's better to stick to 1-3 IPs and not collect everything. Don't let FOMO take over haha read more

Shopping in University City, San Diego, California... This is the second Pop Mart for me. My first visit was in Seattle. The stores are similar. The display in the front was the new Pin for Life series of Labubu. Of course they were sold out! I wasn't really interested in anything else. There are so many different types of blind boxes. I can't keep up! There was a Pop Mart vending machine outside, but I didn't see any Pin for Love Labubus... the Version 4, vinyl plushies. I'll travel somewhere else and keep looking... haha! Located across from Macys Next to Abercrombie and Fitch. This famous "toy"/ blind boxes store is home to the viral "Labubus". Forewarning before coming: if you're looking for a labubu or new drops download the "Popmart" app and look at the Store Pick up Option. This will save you time to buy, or know when the new drops come out. Most of their popular items would not be in store and purchased this way ONLY. Other than that, everything is highly organized and easy to look around to see what cute things you could get for yourself or a gift. Called on the phone to confirm that they had certain figurines in stock, which they did. The lady on the phone failed to mention that the store works off a capacity process so if too many people are in store, you're stuck outside waiting in line as if this is Gucci, Chanel, or Hermes. I wasn't aware of this so I drove a good 30 minutes down to the store in UTC just to be stopped at the front door saying there was a "line" which was quite ample to which I promptly left disappointed without the figurine I was hoping to get as a gift. Looking inside it didn't really seem that busy so it was definitely staffing issue related. Not sure why we're still working off of capacities in the big 26, either hire more workers or expand the size of your business if it cannot allow that many people to enter at one time. I had really positive experience for my first time at Pop Mart. I love how bright and clean the store was when I entered. The toys on the tables and shelves were sooo organized. This is my first time at a pot Mart finally. I've ordered items online, but I've never been in person. This one is small. But it is very cute. Everything is very organized. It's very appeasing it to the eyes. It doesn't look over stuffed. And there's so many cute items actually. Somehow I managed to leave without getting anything. But there were a lot of little keychains or phone charms that I did want to get. But I told myself I already have some that are still in boxes. Came by on a Wednesday afternoon to try and score some Labubu's, not knowing how difficult it is to get one. I know I'm late to the game. The store was pretty busy and well organized. I saw some Labubu's on display but they were not available for purchase. I had a quick chat with a store employee and he mentioned how I can try and get my hands on these monsters. I did end up spending almost $100 on 5 or 6 items, but no Labubu's. It's quite an expensive place to indulge in the latest trend! But if you have money to throw, this is a great place to do so, especially if you have a young child. Walking up to the store it is such a great obvious welcoming that it is Popmart. They also do a great usage of their big figurines, welcoming you into the store, but that's about it. There wasn't a lot of staff that said hi or was welcoming or suggesting help. They were just pretty much working around the store and not welcoming or offering customer service. Although customer service was slacking, they had a huge selection of different figurines and a lot of popular items that were just launched and they did a great job at restocking the boxes. They had the latest launch that was being advertised outside the door and in store adding value to what you're getting and making Worth the trip to come check out this location. Average price there was no major discounts or anything like that but overall, if you know, PopMart, you know what to expect the store size was average which was like a medium. It wasn't too small and it wasn't too large. They did a great job. I keep it clean and ventilated . It got popular, but the traffic was very much in and out when I went in there there was no line, but I have heard that sometimes there is a line outdoors highly recommend checking out if it is one of my favorite locations to. read more

PICK UP ISSUE (PER EMAIL CONFIRMATION) INACCURATE PICK UP TIME was after store is closed. I had a pickup at this location. I am not from this area but decided to pick up here because we had a graduation to attend. I have never done a pick up at any Popmart but I know that I have to wait for an email confirmation from the store which I received. The email said pick up by 11:40pm the next day. I went at 10pm and they were closed. Because of this inaccuracy of the time in my confirmation email I missed my window. My order was canceled and refunded. I could have come earlier when the store closed at 8pm. I assumed they had after hour pick up times which it stated in the email to pick up by 11:40pm. I did a little research after this incident and other stores say pick up before the store closes/check store hours for pick up. Other stores also give 48 hours, THIS STORE does not (ONLY 24 HOURs). This tells me although the store manager says it's not up to them and they can't do anything, the fact that other stores have different times and policies tells me that they absolutely can make changes but choose not too. The store manager needs to write to corporate to change this INACCURATE pick up time. If it's happened to me I am sure it's happened to many other ppl as well. The store manager I spoke to was kind and polite. He spoke very nicely to me but he continued to tell me that I needed to write to corporate about this inaccuracy of times and email. I think it will help even more if he actually made a suggestion to corporate instead of me. I bet he could even change what the email says and change the times so there aren't any misunderstandings. read more

This location is really small and crowded. The girl in the front controlling the line was super friendly, and checking out was easy. They don't have labubu's in-stock in-store unfortunately. But, they have a lot of other figurines, and miscellaneous collectibles. This was my first pop mart experience, and I was underwhelmed. I usually visit this Pop Mart once or twice a week. On weekends, there's a short line (about 5-10 minutes), but on weekdays, no wait at all. They carry most of the classic collections, though some styles are missing. Of course, Labubu is still only available online. read more

I'm seeing a lot of comments about "resellers" being given a priority in line at this store. I thought of this also. Resellers are deliberately selling the unopened labubu's at 45$ We often go to this store to take the chance to purchase the Have a Seat Labubu but it is always SOLD OUT! While waiting for our food to be ready, Bryan and I explored Pop Mart. I had seen so many people with bags from the store so I was curious to see what it was all about. The store is a little snug, for the amount of traffic they get they could definitely do with some more space. The employees were super friendly regardless, when roaming around the store I was so excited to see such cute little pieces. I ended up purchasing a little surprise figurine only due to the aesthetic of it, it was around $17 with tax which can be a little pricey when you're buying multiples like everyone else. Came here with a friend on a weekend and it was PACKED. This location is much smaller than the SoCo store, so I would highly suggest getting here at open or when the hype of this place has died down. The staff were nice, but it was difficult to really ask them anything because it was so crowded with customers. The selection was decent, but a lot of the displays were sold out, so it was a little misleading on what was really in stock. I did end up purchasing a blind box and the line wasn't too bad, the cost was per usual. Overall, I'm giving it 3-stars because the small layout caused it to be crowded the entire time we were inside which was very overwhelming. The figurines are always of great quality and the staff are always friendly, so the issue is really the size of this store. I would recommend waiting a couple months or going right at open to avoid a constantly crowded store. read more

New store in the mall with tons of different types of dolls and accessories I am not familiar with, so I don't get the disappointment and the long lines mentioned by others. I found many of the dolls to be super cute. What I thought were caramels were in reality micro toys you have to put in a jar...go figure. Had an in-store pickup for my have a seat labubu a few weeks ago. This is a small location so they had the pickup line outside. Staff was scanning QR codes at the door and handed orders out there, probably to keep the inside of the store from getting bombarded. Very organized! Online drops for in-store pickup are random. Like, completely random times of the day. One star taken off simply because I wish this location had an Instagram page like the LA locations. I heard they used to have one and it got suspended because people mass reported it. If they were to make a new account, there's plenty of filters to keep unwanted interactions out. I think it would be a great communication tool since they must get endless phone calls daily. read more

I don't know why the reviews are so low for Pop Mart. I always like visiting here when I go to UTC. Yes, a lot of items are often sold out, but personally part of the fun is hunting for the elusive blind boxes. For me, anyway. The employees are really friendly and helpful and even gave me tips on the Labubu restock schedule online. This Grand Opening had set the characteristic of the store which is DISASTROUS. The regional manager was a joke in handling emergency crisis. The event was unorganized, poor planned and lack of communication with WestField multi-collaborative teams to ensure guest safety and policy enforcement. The official website clearly stated "NO EXCEPTION FOR LINE". Yet, popmart allowed people to break the rules and reinforced their behavior by acknowledging their line creation before the 7 am timeline and ignoring those people that followed the protocol. Even when people raised concerns about the policy and the rule breaking behavior, popmart management team did nothing except "reassuring that they are doing their best" and stayed mostly inside the store. The regional manager was there just to hide and create issues. Popmart needs to reevaluate the individuals that set up the event and run their regions. read more

I went to this store to buy some gifts - I noticed a sign that said if you send over $80 you get a free gift. My total on that I was purchasing was $60, so I added a $20 item to reach the threshold. The cashier Adyen asked me for my account which I gave, He proceeded to tell me I didn't have an account. It didn't matter, I paid for my items, I asked him where my free item is and he told me it's only for account members (which I have, But somehow he couldn't find it?). He refused to give me the free gift because I "wasn't an account member", although I am. Adyen Should've mentioned that it's only for Members rather than wait until products have been paid for - the signage outside the store fails to mention that as well. Terrible customer service on Adyen's part - I hope I never have to deal with this type of customer service next time I am in the store! Adyen, do better. From all the Pop Mart stores I've been to for new releases and this store is the worst. Majority of the workers are superficial and liars. Recently went to this Pop Mart store early for the Halloween release and according to their instagram post, they had 59 plushies. We counted each person in line and knew we would be the 54th person to buy. Ironically they sold out while we were next in line. There were six workers and magically there were only 53 available plushies? The math ain't mathing here bud. When a couple of us tried to question the workers, one short Asian guy said they're sold out and not sure if there was any available while smirking. Another short Filipino girl behind the register said she couldn't answer our question about the math not mathing and looked at her manager for help. We asked her if there were 59 plushies and only 53 bought, how are there six missing? She started stuttering and said she wasn't sure how to answer us. No one cut in line during the whole time of us waiting for the store to open to getting to the front of the line. If you're going to save some for the workers, at least don't include their items in the Instagram posts. It's giving scammer vibes. The manager was rude too. Never moved when people tried to pass through. Definitely worth driving up to the Costa Mesa location instead of this location. read more

Its as small as a boutique so keep in mind that you will have to make a line to get in. They do have a lot cute figures and collectables. Dimo reminds of Precious Moments and of course we cant forget Labubus. When I went there they didnt had any in stock but I still walked out with a Skullpanda thank goodness i got the one I wanted. Its all about blind boxes and prices do vary on average $16 up to $42 if you are doing special edition pendants.
