Their driveway has shelves of second hand books. The store front also has signs that discourages people taking photos and numerous signs that say 'dogs not allowed.' Many people have service dogs, which by law, is legally allowed almost everywhere. While I love books and book shops, this little shop is not dog friendly and proves to be a deterrent for many with dogs who feel unwelcome. Pass

There are also lots of books to choose from for how small the store is. They also have a wide variety of artsy gifts. But here's to the bad. However recently I went in to browse the selection of Hobonichis, since they're the only store in the city to have them. For some reason, instead of stocking them on the international release day (like I was originally told), they decided to stock them on September 4th. Disgruntled, but my fiancee promised to come back. So, she did! Came back on September 4th right when they opened, and wouldn't you know they were NOT in stock. In fact, they didn't even have them, they were stuck in customs. My fiancee was also with multiple other people who had been told the same things, all showing up for their Hobonichi release, only to be disappointed. So, here's the issue. Lying to customers about having a product, when you DONT is absolutely wild. Assuring customers it will be in stock on a specific day, then not telling your customers that it can't, is so beyond unprofessional. To me, it felt like a game to Warwicks in an attempt to drum up hype for these highly sought after brand and items. Overall I'm really going to need Warwicks to redeem themselves on this one.

For my dad, I picked up a dad hat, which he wears often. For my mom, a hoodie and a tote. Not only are the designs cute, prices are reasonable, and are of good quality materials. I recently completed an employee survey and scored a free mini tote, similar to the ones at Trader Joe's! After my shopping spree, I like to head outdoors to lay in the hammocks near the fountain. As each customer came in for their Covid shot... each person came in with a sigh and a story of how they couldn't fun this place. I'm sure the pharmacy and store staff hear this a hundred times a day. The pharmacy staff is super nice and efficient. Jessica was the pharmacy tech that helped me and took care of me. Had to hang out for 15 minutes as they made sure I was ok before leaving. Also got $5 off my next purchase there with getting vaccinated. So overall not a bad trip... got my Covid shot. Free bandaid first aid bag (free with qualifying purchase of 3 bandaid items) and $5 off! If you're coming to this location, be on a bike, skateboard, scooter or be prepared for a short walk. I love Squishmallow so when I saw Squishable, I had to walk right in to see what soft and fluffy plushies that they have in stock. At first, I thought they sold Squishmallow. They look very similar, but actually they are not the same. Two different brands. Their designs are different. Their plushies are indeed cute and soft. However, I didn't see any to my liking for me to buy one. They have lots of different selections. They also have themed plushies. They had a few baskets that contained plushies on sale... buy 1 get 1 50% off. The prices were a tad higher IMHO. If I saw a really cute one or two, I probably would have still bought them, but none resonated with me unfortunately. The lady working here was very friendly and helpful. I asked her if they had any frogs. She showed me a few. There was one that looked okay, but it didn't match the frog that my eldest daughter currently has.
