My repeated stylist was Sana and unknowingly she did not like servicing me because I requested (and provided) my own extra lash extensions. I have had previous experience with other stylists who know how to style the long lengths with the shorter as well, I understand now that, that was not was they were able to do. Still no communication was given until I was put with another stylist and did not like the outcome. Very unhappy! I've had a membership for over a year and could not understand why this happened.

The lashes themselves turned out decent, but when I pointed out that one of the pieces looked stuck together, the lash specialist insisted they weren't. I tried to show her what I meant, but she couldn't see it and told me to look at her instead of pointing at the lashes. I explained I was about to turn, and she seemed a bit bothered when I said I didn't like the way it looked. She made some adjustments, and it looked better afterward. Before leaving, I asked about the salon's policies due to their mixed reviews. When I filled out the paperwork, I saw that if the lashes start to fall within three days, I can call for a fix. The front desk staff looked at the paperwork and hesitantly confirmed that I was eligible, which made me a bit uneasy. I really hope my lashes stay intact because I'd prefer not to return to this place.

And the wax itself took two minutes and she didn't do any trimming or eyebrow clean up, so I had to go home and tweeze. After taking off my make up when I got home, I realized she also removed too much from the tail of one of my brows. So now I have to wait for it to grow back in. $48 later and a waste of time and money. It's a cute place and they are nice, but quality doesn't match the price.

Scheduled my appt, and as it turns out, the location is a block away from my job which was perfect. Meet Joan and we exchange pleasantries and she explains what she will be doing, etc. Lay back and my lashes are in her hands. An hour later, I wake up ( I totally napped out) and she hands me a mirror and I look and am simply put: AMAZED at how wonderful and full my lashes look. I can officially say, I'm HOOKED. So I asked her how she got her lashes to look that beautiful and then she told me she had them done with Yanna! So I decided to book Yanna for my wedding day lashes and I was SO amazed! I absolutely LOVED how they look. They look so natural but also so beautiful and thick. Her studio is also so nice to be in - it's warm and inviting, very clean, smells really good, decorated so nicely, and she has great music playing in the background and you get to lay on a super cozy bed right by the window while she does your lashes. I had never had my lashes done before so I was pretty nervous, but she is super friendly and calming. Honestly, the first time I met her, it somehow felt like we had known each other for years. She was so fun and easy to chat with. She helped my nerves go away, and I didn't feel anything while she was putting the lashes on! It was so relaxing and peaceful. So the process is amazing and the final result is amazing. I got soooo many compliments on my lashes - even a professional makeup artist who also does lashes told me that she was very impressed with mine and she could tell that they were very well done. The lashes also last a while - about a month or maybe even more. I used to wear mascara everyday, but mascara is hard to wash off, gets in my eyes and irritates my eyes, gets clumpy and flaky, and I think was also giving me pimples - my skin seems to have cleared up ever since not using mascara anymore. Because of how beautiful and effortless Yanna's lashes are, I am thinking to start going regularly to get them done instead of wearing mascara. I initially just got them for my wedding, but I love them so much I may just stick with them :) One other thing I loved - she does a few test lashes during your consultation visit to make sure there's no allergic reaction. My skin is pretty sensitive so I was a little bit worried about having a reaction, but there were no issues at all!
