I took to the internet to order a liner for my pool so my son can have to pool party. His birthday was May 19th. I found a webpage, Pool Deals, that had a liner that was priced low. The other factor was that during the stay-at-home order a lot of businesses was not open or having regular business hours.. PoolDeals put on there webpage that there was no shipping delays!!! GREAT! I planned a party for my son in a couple of weeks. I waited to see when my order would ship........and waited...... I made a service ticket to ask when it will be delivered. The reply was that things get shipped out 3-5 days. GREAT! I waited again to see when my order would ship....and waited... I made another service ticket to aske when it will be shipped. GUESS WHAT! There was a delay!! it will ship in 1-2 days. I was told that if I could wait I COULD ASK FOR MY MONEY BACK!! I waited to see when my order would ship......and waited... THEN I ASKD FOR MY MONEY BACK!!! GUESS WHAT!! NOW 2 in a half weeks later they tell me that they are shipping my order!!!!! FUCK THAT! They accused me of lying that I did not receive an item. I also paid for "expedited order processing". I did not receive an in stock item for nearly 3 weeks. Finally called and requested a manager. Straight to voicemail. His message states due his high number of calls (no surprise). He states he will email you a response. He never responded. After 2 weeks of phone calls, emails, etc... We purchased a pool cover in August 2020. The first year the tan color on the top of the cover started to flake off. The second year we used the cover it started ripping. Thank goodness their Customer Service is awful! I narrowed down my choices to a couple of options, reached out to this company to get more information about their cover - mainly the weight. They said they didn't know. Really - then how do you ship them? I actually asked that and the response was "The put it on our bill." (not my typ-o, that's a direct quote). Was NOT impressed!!!! Placed order on 9/3/16. Never received a tracking number so I could see when it was to be delivered. Tried calling at various times of day only to get a recorded message saying they were closed. I even sent 3 emails to them at various times of day with NO response. Do NOT order anything from this business. I ordered a Krystal Clear Cartridge filter pump on June 3, 2020 for $73.99. Additionally there was a $15 handling charge, plus I paid $3.99 rush delivery fee all totaling $92.98. 24 hours later I checked on the status and I saw that my item was still in their warehouse. I called the customer service line and was greeted with a fully automated message stating that their customer service representatives were all working from home due to COVID19 and to open up a support ticket online and that they would get back to be withing 1 to 2 business days. I opened up a support ticket on June 4 asking why the status of my item was in the warehouse when I paid an additional $3.99 fee to expedite. I did not receive any answer until June 8 (more than the 1 to 2 business days as stated on the phone message) and was told that the order generally leaves the warehouse in 7-10 business days. The fact that I ordered this on June 3 and still did not receive it prompted me to cancel the order. I opened up another ticket and requested cancellation on June 11 and was responded to on June 15 (more than the 1 to 2 business days as stated on the phone message) stating " We do not guarantee any cancellation can be made, but we will do our best to get this order cancelled." I have had it with this scam of a company. They dont care about their customers, they take more than a few days to respond, and you cant talk to anyone on the phone. We ordered a Winter pool cover, after NOT receiving response of their ticket system answering our measurement concerns(that was the first indication the business may suck). But then went ahead and ordered a cover, believing it was the correct decision. Well, I must have mistakenly ordered twice since it was on the website(yes, it was MY fault), but I didnt realize this until TWO pool covers arrived. The totally unopened one they will NOT take back even for a product credit!!!!!! Are you kidding me? Yes I read the terms, but under "damaged" they even seem to work with you as any good company would....but NO, they will not take back a brand new, unopened box with a 2nd cover. SERIOUSLY??? We ordered a top-line pool cover from this on-line company. Their website said that they were out of the size we wanted, but send the next size up. They took a very long time to get the product delivered, and when it arrived the other day - it was one size SMALLER! They have NO phone number/customer service available on their website (my fault, should have checked that prior to order I guess) only an email option. I emailed them and have not had a reply. The product appears to be the higher quality cover, but I don't know how well it will hold up as its only been on the pool about a day now. However, to send the wrong product size and have no direct way to correct their mistake, is very annoying. I will not use this company again! read more

BADS NEWS OUTFIT!!! We ordered a top line solar pool cover and take up reel. Read al the information in detail as to the products. No mention in the reel product description that attachment kit was included. When making the solar cover purchase, a pop up screen with recommended additional items appeared. All appeared appropriate and necessary. Included in the pop up menu was an attachment kit for the cover to the reel. When the reel kit arrived the attachment kit was included with same. When the cover arrived included was the attachment kit ordered per Pool Zone's recommendation. As I'd ordered the separate attachment kit based upon their recommendation, and as how the reel kit description did not include notice that it also included attachment hardware I inquired as to returning the second kit. On 01 JUN 18 at 1:20pm I called the number and was told I had to make my request via email. The clerk (Jamie) was rude and hardly familiar with the concept of customer service. I did place the email and waited 19 days for a response. I called today (20 JUN 18 at 2:16pm) and spoke with Heather. She responded that the response had been sent but that she could not tell me what the answer was, and that she was doing me a favor by giving me the ticket number. "A favor?" I spent almost $650.00 at "Pool Zone" and she's doing me a favor by responding to a customer inquiry? I told her that I didn't find "their" system to be customer friendly and her response was to hang up. I called back and spoke to "Heather" and asked to speak to someone with management authority. I was placed on hold for eleven minutes before I was again hung up on. As to the customer ticket, I was told there were no refunds as those were the terms I'd agreed to. Had I not been led to believe, by their inaccurate product description, that I needed the extra attachment kit then it would never have been ordered. While I may eat the cost of the kit I guarantee we will NEVER deal with these deceptive and rude people again. No concept of customer service, no appreciation of building a client base, no business sense except take the money and run and never respond or deal with the customer again. I never received confirmation of my order and when I used their online customer support center, the responses were not helpful as I just wanted to make sure my order was in the system and being processed. I paid for rush order processing, which was a waste of money because nothing was processed quickly, only my winter closing kit came in with the clips, but my pool cover (ultimately the reason I placed the order in the first place) was not there. I called that day and the recording said they were closed, but it was not 5pm yet. I called back this morning and spoke with a VERY rude man, that said "complaining to him wasn't going to change anything, did I want the cover or should he cancel it." I merely expressed my frustration with the additional charge for rush order processing and yet the cover was "slightly delayed" and no one notified me. Can I give less than 1 star? Ordered a solar cover from this company. I received an invoice/order confirmation that stated "this product usually leaves the warehouse in 3-7 business days". Called on the 5th day and was told it wouldn't even be "made" until 7-10 business days after the order was received. Which they stated was the day after I received the e-mail. I cancelled the order and was only made aware of the 10% fee the day I received only a partial refund! Ordered from another company and had it in one day! What a rip-off! This is the second time we purchased a liner form pool zone. Should have learned from the first time. Both similar experiences. Most recent is with a liner we purchased May of 2016 that is supposed to come with a 20 year warranty, we have been loosing water. A lot of water, so far I have found 3 pin holes. Had to call in a professional to repair. Called Poolzone to find out information in re to warranty and was told that we need to go through the manufacture, when asked if they can provide the contact info I was told they do not keep that information. Hmmmm so you keep no record of the vendors your company uses????? The answer was "no we do not." And as stated before this is a repeat of 2013. You would think they would get it together over there. Do not buy from this store. We bought a solar cover and when it came it was nothing but very cheap bubble wrap with all the bubbles popped. We told them this and they accused us of lying. They do no stand behind their products and are extremely rude. They even hung up on us. Be careful when you shop for a solar cover, most pool stores advertise 8, 12 and 16 mil. Pool Zone have 12 gauge and 16 gauge which is just cheap, thin plastic. We are now stuck with 127.00 piece of plastic. Wish I had read reviews first. This place needs shut down. read more

I bought the 15x30 SunMagnet cover with drain system included. What came was no drain system, just fasteners if I want to cut into the very large cover and attach the fasteners, myself. I sent both an on-line inquiry (no response) and called. The girl answered the phone stated no returns, they state some assembly required (not) and THEN HUNG UP ON ME! Conversation ended! I went back to the site to look. If you click on a separate link on your Drain System, it states 'A series of small drain holes get installed in the Solar Cover.' NOT! No small drain holes. On the bottom in small print is Some Assembly Required. That would be 100% assembly required. You pay extra for a drain system that you create yourself! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! No communication/wrong information/lied to!... I placed an order last Friday April 14th 2017. The order consisted of, a pool loner, solar cover, and skimmer not realizing the previous owners of our house had a brand new solar cover that was in storage of our newly purchased home. Because I placed the order after hours on Friday, I called at 8:26am on Monday April 17th 2017 to cancel the solar cover and was told that "if I called 20 minutes earlier I could have but it was to late because the item was already loaded and "Shipped" and that they would not accept a return of the item if I sent it back unopened. I told the person I spoke to that I would not order again from their company, he responded with "OK". I later called around 12:30pm the same day to ask why I had not received any shipment confirmation via email, and was told "I should have an email" and that shipping would take 3-5 business days. I have now received the liner along with the skimmer.... but no solar cover. I called again this morning to get tracking information and was told "it takes around ten days for processing solar covers and the item had shipped yesterday April 20th 2017. All the while, I have received one email of my order confirmation, two of the three products, (hopefully the liner is the correct size) it is scheduled for install on Monday... and we were lied to regarding the return and shipping of the solar cover. Do not purchase anything from this company! I recently ordered a solar cover from them. It was on my pool for less than one week when on of the seams ripped. I notified Poolzone and emailed them a picture and also requested a full refund. They said they would not refund my money but they would replace the cover. I told them I did not want a replacement as it was obvious the cover was of inferior quality if it was separating at the seam in less than a week. I again requested a refund and told them I would dispute the purchase with my credit card company. They told me to go ahead and do that and have a nice day..They said the cover I purchased was a light gauge cover and I should have purchased a heavier gauge cover. I paid over $100 for the cover. I have purchase several solar covers over the years and have never had any issues The warranty on the cover is supposedly 7 years... mine lasted a week. My impression is this is a shoddy company someone is running out of their basement...Beware! read more
