A neighbor had…read moreused Capstone & they were very happy with their finished product, which helped us make our decision. We resurfaced, re-tiled, reset the coping, split the drains, changed out the lights in both the pool & spa, & shallowed the deep end from 9ft to 5 1/2 ft, & created a longer bench in the deeper end of the pool. For the resurfacing we used Tropics Blue Mini Pebble, recommended by Shelby, our amazing Project Coordinator, & we love it! It actually looks a little different throughout the day depending on the amount of sunlight. The entire Capstone team is impressive! They make you feel like you are their only client. Travis came out to give us our estimate & was great at suggestions to help us reach our vision & stay within budget. Aubrey & Shelby were incredible at communication regarding scheduling, responding to the many questions we had about the details, & when any issues arose, communicating to the team. Cameron always made time to stop by for finishing touches & made sure we were happy. Unfortunately, I don't remember everyone's name who worked on our pool/spa, but all were punctual, professional, friendly, respectful, & worked very hard! We highly recommend Capstone for your pool & spa resurfacing & renovations!

Capstone Pool & Spa just finished a MAJOR project to refinish my pool and replace ALL the concrete…read morein the back yard. To say that such a project is a major undertaking is truly an understatement. John was our project manager (juggling ours plus many other projects this summer) and did an excellent job of keeping track of where we were in our project as time and tasks progressed. We chose poured concrete coping, top-cast finish for coping and deck and StoneScapes Aqua Cool pebble finish. We also had them raise the wall on the in-pool spa so that the coping runs around the top of the spa at the same height as the rest of the coping with a small spillway to circulate the water back into the pool. We had them plum a separate intake for the pool vacuum so water is drawn in through both the skimmer and the pool sweep. And we added an auto-fill so we no longer have to remember to fill the pool. I am very happy with all the design choices we made; John was a great help with those decisions. There must have been at least 30 different people working on our project during the 3-month duration. Every one of the resources were professional, polite and most of all took great care to keep our back yard cleaned up and safe after each day's work. I don't know if any of you have had ALL your concrete decking demo'd, but it looked like a bomb went off after the jackhammering was done and before all the concrete rubble was removed. BUT John's crew got it all removed (plus some extra rubble we had lying around in our yard) and smoothed the dirt out so we could safely walk in the back yard. The tile work was impeccable; AJ was very detail oriented and lined all the patterns up beautifully. Frankie was the best pool electrician/plumber and was very patient with all my questions and concerns. He also took the time to handle small details that he thought should be done, like fitting a board back in my fence that had to be removed for a new gas line that was put in. At the end there were several small things to finish up, I created a list for John and he diligently worked through all of them. I LOVE my pool and backyard now, once the water was in and balanced, we were in it EVERY day this summer! Thanks for all your hard work and effort John and everyone at Capstone. If you need your pool worked on, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Capstone to you.

He took his time walking through the space, carefully explaining placement options, layout considerations, and how everything would ultimately look and function. What really stood out was his ability to think beyond the obvious--he brought up several ideas and design elements that I hadn't even considered, which added a lot of value to the consultation. I've met with several pool companies, and Richard is by far the most knowledgeable and thoughtful professional I've encountered. He clearly has deep expertise and takes pride in doing things the right way. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a pool project. Heartland is a reasonably priced, very professional business. Their professional ethics and…read morepersonal interaction are outstanding. We had committed to having our pool resurfaced, just prior to our limited rainy season. By the time work was started, the rain was upon us. Mike, the owner, kept us informed of delays, and updated us on the estimated start and completion dates during the various stages. We continued to receive progress reports during the entire project. Perhaps one of the things that I most admired about Mike is that he stood by his work. During the removal of the old surfaces, a couple of PVC parts from the attached jacuzzi were broken. Mike accepted responsibility for the damage, and promised to repair/replace them. The pool was built in the '70s, and some items are no longer available. Mike unsuccessfully continued to search for the replacements, even out of state. Finally, he located someone locally who would fabricate the parts. I consider his commitment to his customers as exceptional. I recommend his services, without hesitation. Thank you, Mike.

While I am frustrated that they recommended a contractor that wasn't good, the poor quality of that work is not theirs to own. I thank them for the things they did fix, I just wish it didn't have to hinge around a yelp review.

I am so incredibly glad we didn't do that and chose to go with SD Pools instead. We initially met with Josh, who walked us through everything (timeline, cost, the process, etc). Once the build started, we worked with our project manager, Enrique, who went above and beyond to make sure things happened in a timely fashion and that we would be happy with the final project. Chad has been handling our maintenance for the last month and has been absolutely fantastic. And they were always a text or call away to answer any silly questions throughout. You can truly tell that this team takes pride in their work. They are communicative, easy to work with, above and beyond helpful, and the pool itself is absolutely gorgeous. Everything turned out exactly how we wanted. Got my baja shelf and we're ready to summer lol. I can't say enough good things!

I called almost everywhere looking for a pool company that would do fiberglass and just when I…read morethought nobody existed anymore a week later these people popped up. I was elated to find them. It cost a huge amount of money to get this done. However, fiberglass lasts 4 times as long as plaster. Kyle was very friendly. The lady at the office could have been a little friendlier. The reason I took away a star was because even though I waited patiently to see if all the little details were going to be taken care of like they promised, near the end on the second week, I had to keep after them a bit to fix minor things that could become a major problem later. There are a couple of uneven tiles that my eyes can't un-see, and I was still finding masking tape after they left. I'm trying to ignore the uneven tiles. The workers moved some heavy objects that never got put back which normally wouldn't be a big deal, but I can't move the planter myself, it's too big and heavy. Overall, the pool coating is supposed to last 20-ish years with proper maintenance. I won't really know how well this held up for about a decade.. Overall, the pool looks great. I've used it a couple of times since it was refinished. Expect a lot of noise and pungent smells. If you have animals make sure they're indoors in an area that has a good air filter to keep them safe. The pool company will give you a letter for all your neighbors. I edited mine just a bit to be more specific for this situation and neighborhood, then hand delivered it to all the neighbors behind us, and on either side to make sure they were safe too. Good luck with your search.
