5 stars are not enough. We just had our pool re-plastered by Poolscape, and we couldn't be happier. We asked 4 pool remodel companies to come and give us bids on the job. 3 companies showed up, and 2 gave us proposals that were worth looking at seriously. Jayme Chapman presented us with excellent suggestions for color and a new surface, Gemstone. We visited some completed projects for both of the finalists. We were leaning toward Poolscape and visited the office to look at tile and inlay choices. The office visit convinced us that this was the company we wanted. We then set a date for construction. The project was scheduled to start on July 5th and be completed on July19th. The pool was drained on the scheduled start date. The next day, the old plaster was removed, with absolutely no mess left behind except for some dust. The Tile installation was next and again, no mess left when the crew left. On the day the new surface was to be done, the crew was here and ready to go at 7 am and were done by 1 pm. Again, when they left you couldn't tell that they had just plastered our pool. Every single scrap was picked up. The acid wash was done the next day and we started filling. Mark Baxter promised the completion by July 17th and they did exactly that. Our experience with every member of the Poolscape team was excellent. The men who did the work, drain, demo, tile, plaster, acid wash and startup always introduced themselves and asked if there were any questions or problems they could take care of. My pool was recently remodeled by Poolscape Unlimited, and am very pleased with their service which by far exceeded my expectation. When selecting a contractor, I was impressed by Jayme who stepped in to help when her dad Kirk was not available. She gave me straight estimate that does not have open ended or hidden costs. She was quite responsive to my follow up questions. Gwen kept me informed on schedules and last minute changes. Martin and his demo crew came as scheduled and finished in one day even a little late, they removed all debris with buckets/wheelbarrow and cleaned the site afterwards. Luis and Sergio did a fantastic tile work, level and square. They repaired wall cracks and silicon caulked gaps, it looks absolutely beautiful now! I am very pleased with Jeff and Eddy, they patched quite extensive rust spots, came back to check and patched two more! They installed new drains, replaced SPA jets, and fixed an old pipe adaptor, very thorough and professional! Finally, John and his 10-men crew did a great job on plastering, they are very organized and finished the work in about 2 hours! They covered the sides with plastic sheets and left no marks and debris. All work was done by Poolscape's own employees and they all seemed very happy with the company. Responsive, responsible, reliable, knowledgeable. All of the team members involved were a pleasure to work with. Jayme (quote and surface selection), Mark (site supervisor), Gwen and Cindy (scheduling and contract info) and all of John's plastering crew, the demo guys and the acid wash guy and the mastic repair guys and the startup guy (sorry, its been a month and Ive forgotten some names.) Our 20 year old plaster pool was in sorry shape, and needed resurfacing. I contacted 8 pool resurfacing companies for bids, got 6 quotes and chose Poolscape Unlimited based on responsiveness and good reviews, and honestly, I liked the pictures of the work they've done. I'm extremely happy with my choice. Demolition of the old surface included chiseling out and coating rusted rebar that was staining the old plaster, and fixing a leaking light in the spa. The area was left as clean or cleaner than when the crew showed up. The plastering crew was very efficient, to a man everyone knew what to do, when to do it and what to do to support the other crew members. Some of the best teamwork I've ever seen. And it only took half a day. Lots of long time employees, which to me means this company takes good care of them, and they have lots of experience. CHOOSE THIS POOL COMPANY BECAUSE OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL!! This is an EXCEPTIONAL pool contracting company owned by Kirk Chapman. I asked Kirk for a bid to remodel and upgrade our home pool in August 2013. We originally built the pool in 1978 and it needed a lot of work. Kirk kept the same August 2013 bid in April 2014 when the project was completed. I choose this company in 2013 because I thought I could work together with Kirk to get the look I wanted. Also, Kirk had many ideas that I really liked and used. I had just completed 5 house remodels (including the one I live in) since 2001 as owner-contractor so I was "picky" about my home pool contractor! Kirk promised me we would be on the "same page" from beginning to end with the pool. That is precisely what happened! Kirk and his employees are honest and fair and they all seem to love working for him. I can recite many accounts where each individual employee from masonry to plumbing, electric, tile, plaster to pool start up did something special for me! They were gentlemen as well as skilled in their business! During the process, I made some changes and Kirk gave us very reasonable prices for the changes. Having our pool refinished, and finding a contractor that we could trust was a big decision. This was completely out of our wheelhouse and a little nerve-racking. Rarely are we this happy with the results of anything. The work Poolscape did was just perfect and we tell each other how beautiful our pool looks every day. When we started we had a number of problems that looked almost unsolvable to us. Kirk and his crew came up with a plan, started on time, worked every day and finished ahead of schedule, completed the follow-up they committed to and stayed within budget... and they were the lowest bidder from among three! The crew was polite and respectful of the landscaping around the pool which was important to us. When we were unsure about one decision or another, they gave us all the options and then their recommendation. In the spring of 2017 we solicited bids for a long overdue poolreplaster. We had 2 quotes that were comparable. I opted for the other guy as I thought he would coordinate other aspects of the job such as rhe concrete work. What a mistake! The demo was completed, but the problems with communication had just begun. We terminated the contract and reached out to Poolscapes to ask if they would look at the state of the project and bid on completing the work. Kirk came out, reviewed the project and gave us a proposal for taking over the job. Poolscapes completed the job two weeks early, and cleaned up several issues left by the original contractor. Poolscape did an amazing job replastering, repairing, and refurbishing my Mother's pool; they even fixed the light, which hasn't worked for 15 years. The pool had a spa that no longer had a heater, and it leaked. The spa had been empty for over 10 years, and the pool was in such bad condition we thought we would have to remove it. They came up with a great idea to salvage the spa and make it a part of the pool. They were professional, diligent, and courteous to my Mother. It took a little over 2 weeks to complete the job. Great communication. No long periods waiting for the workers to show up, or wondering if they would show up. They came they got the job done and the pool is amazing - like new - down to all the little details that were replaced and updated to be compliant with new safety laws for pools. We just completed a long overdue resurfacing of our 16- year old pool with Poolscape Unlimited. Might be a tad premature to assess the entire job as we are just now beginning to fill the pool, but I wanted to give a quick shout out to John Morgan and his plaster team. I was astonished at the complexity of the set up and the amount of prep they did before they even began applying the pebble finish. Then came the hard work of spraying and troweling. These guys are obviously experts at what they do. They work together with each guy doing his part. (Let's not forget the guys out front hefting heavy bags and mixing the finish).
