Great store. It used to be stocked with hottubs but now it's mostly just chemicals. Young folks…read moreworking there who give great advice and even do water sample tests for free!

My wife and I purchased an 18' above ground pool from the Dallas location around 2 years ago. I can…read moresay that the customer service at both the Allen location and Dallas was amazing. They were excited to sell us a pool, and catered to us during the purchase. Well, after we bought the pool things took a change. My wife and I had questions as would any first time pool owner. What chemicals do we use, how often, etc.. We would bring in routine water samples, either at Allen or Dallas. Everytime we did so, we would get a completely different set of chemicals to use in our mineral pool. Every time we spoke with an associate or manager, it was a different direction on what to put in our pool. We were sold over $200 in pool chemicals, only to be told later, we were sold the wrong stuff. The manager apologized and said it's new staff that was hired. Ok, no problem, I've been a retail manager for 25+ years. I get it, but credit me and let me get the chemicals I should have gotten. Nope, no offer to take care of it. Just purchase the new chemicals. Absolutely ridiculous! The Allen location manager I spoke with made it good. She refunded the chemicals the Dallas location should have done to begin with. Fast forward to this season, and I'm needing a new ionizer replacement cell for my mineral pool. Dallas location says in store to my wife and I that they are out of stock, but a female manager that was the would be bringing some to the store. Give them my name and number and they will call me when it's in... No phone call. I called to follow up and it's a short "no" we don't have it. No offer to help locate one or explain why I was never called. I call Allen today, August 7th in the morning. A gentleman says he needs to ask his GM, and he promised he would call me back, being he knew Dallas never returned my call. Guess what? He never bothered to return my call. All I'm trying to do is get the proper pool supplies from the supplier I purchased my pool from, and they don't seem to care at all about my wife and I, as customers. It's always a different answer. Just go back and forth between the two stores and ask several employees and you'll get different answers every time. Why can't we just get a correct answer with what to use for our pool? Why is it after we purchased our pool, Crown doesn't seem to care at all? It's beyond ridiculous that I have to go through this much trouble to spend money with this company. When you as employees of Crown tell a customer you will call them back, do so! Two different Crown Pools in two days and nobody there can be bothered. I found my Nature's Pure ionizer replacement cell online finally and ordered it there. Would like to have purchased it with Crown, unfortunately they couldn't be bothered. John & Andrea C.

Texas Native Aquatics - Here is my pool after Ryan and his guys came oit to fix it.

Texas Native Aquatics

I will never see the name Texas Native Aquatics and not relive the trauma they have caused. Let me…read moretell you about it. The previous owners of our home did not care for the pool, so after many years of trying to find the right person for the job, we thought Ryan would be our savior; boy, were we wrong. Things started off great! My husband found him on YELP with a high 4-star rating back in December 2024. Ryan was eager and appeared excited to bring our pool back to life. Ryan and Team started working on our pool February 2025. I mean, this guy is over communicating at this point. Keeping us updated on when they were coming out to the house and what materials were being purchased & so forth. We were indeed pleased. Our first biggest mistake, we paid him in full in April 2025. Ryan immediately stopped accepting our calls and stopped replying to text messages. We were out of $12,000! Thank the Lord we paid with a CC, so we took it up with our bank, but it wasn't easy. In June 2025, we were told by our bank that Ryan submitted pictures of a completed pool---claiming it was OUR pool. As a result, the ruling was ruled in Ryan's favor, not ours. We were in complete shock; utter devastation. FULL TRANSPARANCY POST NEXT: The stress was unimaginable. I stopped eating, my hair began to fall out, and I was so filled with anxiety, I could barely work. Texas Native Aquatics put such a severe strain on our lives, but my hurt turned into anger, AND WE FOUGHT BACK. We were not going to accept this! We took even more photos and gathered even more text messages to prove our case. It took hours upon hours to put the evidence together, but the hard work paid off. The claim was reopened and TODAY, the bank ruled in our favor. Today is September 16, 2025, and our pool is still unusable. It's been drained for 7 months---which can lead to more serious issues. We've declined hosting family events, friend get-togethers and birthday parties for our nephews all due to our pool condition and the pain/suffering Ryan Williams has caused. Feel free to visit his google and yelp page---as you can see, we are not the first to write about being taken advantage of. And as of recently, his ratings have declined. I am truly fearful for this guy because if he continues this type of practice, then he might end up working for the wrong client and he will be out a lot more than he is now. Lucky for him, he got a nice couple I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND RYAN WILLIAMS AND TEXAS NATIVE ACQUATICS.

After I initiated their…read morehelp with my pool repair I texted him my concern) we agreed on what I needed which included a lot more than I asked for but we agreed it appeared to be needed. So after they started the work. Well after 2 days and waiting to see my MAIN concern get fixed he tells me they can't fix it without another $1750 bucks! Because the problem was not what he thought It would be.. so after paying for stuff that I didn't really want to begin with he wanted to stop. So We did finally end up getting my Pool light fixed. Now the plumbing work is leaking and still not draining correctly and the owner has blocked me on texts. I would not do business with this company again. Buyer beware.
