Great management and great crew…read more Had a pool pump stop working, and my normal pool guy immediately blamed a failed motor in the pump, despite it only being 2 years old and gave me a large quote to replace. I called Pelican for a second opinion and rather than just push new hardware, they did their due diligence to pinpoint the problem.They figured out that not enough power was being supplied to the pool panel and it ended being a bad breaker that was supplying too little voltage for the pump to operate. One new breaker later and I am back up and running. Thanks Pelican for being good people and not just pushing products.

Scott came out to our house and reviewed the job and took all the measurements. We agreed to move forward and have him do the job. He showed up and began painting one of our pool boulders which wasn't even close to being what we originally had (he was using blood red). Shortly after he started doing that, he called me and informed me he was walking off the job, with no legitimate reason for doing so. Not sure how a contractor does something like this but now we are stuck with and incomplete job and a half-painted pool boulder. With that said, beware of Scott Talley and do business with him at your own risk. I have also alerted the B&B staff regarding referring this guy moving forward.

They replaced our aged-out pool surface from plaster to micro pebble which included treating the concrete and adding a curative to the pebble mix. They installed hand-set iridescent step markers and new directionals, an aerator fitting, safety drain covers, a hand rail and new tile at the water line. It was quite the project and they did it within the projected timeline. Jessica pleasantly took our original call, setting the tone at the beginning and arranged sales rep Brandon to come to the house. He truly embodies the Business Development Ninja title on his business card. He impressed us with his demeaner, transparency and thoroughness at our initial meeting and in their showroom/design center where we chose our colors from plenty of options for the new surface, tiles, handrail and step markers. Project Manager Shawn updated us nearly daily on what to expect and when. As busy as he was, he promptly answered our questions and concerns in detail with good humor and respect and kept everything on schedule which transpired as he described. I used to have wonderful experiences there and in fact I cancelled my pool service as they said I could test my pool water there every week if needed. I also bought all of my pool supplies there. However, a new General Manager popped up at the store and he has been incredibly rude to me on every visit the last several months. Today he actually raised his voice at me for not clearing up my phosphates, when he walked up, he said "are you here for the free pool water test" or are you going to buy something today. I often buy my chemicals there and he continued to be condescending to me right in front of another employee, and I could tell he made her feel uncomfortable. I told him I will never return to Leslie's as he has constantly been rude toward me every time I came in. He had the nerve to tell me when I calm down, I can come back. NOT A CHANCE!!! Sun Devil pool supply is right around the corner, and my business will be there now. I have a hard time believing a company as large and professional as Leslie's would employee such a rude individual.

The owners of the three companies came to the property to talk with me about what I needed done. Peyton, the owner of Element Pools and Spas, was the only one who gave me input that caused me to do more research and to understand much better what else needed to be done. I actually had to call the other two companies and ask them to update their quote to include the other things that I now knew had to be done. I was already leaning toward giving the job to Element Pools and Spas, but they were the last to submit a quote. Had their quote been several hundred dollars more, I would have picked them to do the work. What a surprise when I got the quote from them. They were the least expensive! I dealt mostly with Mason, the project manager, who was very proactive in communicating to me a couple days in advance the proposed schedule for each phase of the project. I also dealt with two other people in their office via email, Eric and Jennifer. They facilitated the billing process. The crews that did the work knew what they were doing. It was a happy crew! I talked with some of them and found out several had 20 or more years of experience, and it showed. In summary, I am very satisfied with the work this company did. The pool looks very nice!

I found Price busters pool and spa, many miles from my house and stopped in. I had visited many independent shops before trying price busters with out any success. I need to say that from the moment I walked into the shop I was treated so nicely from the young lady at the reception desk. Then the owner help me right away. He knew in minutes what I needed and supplied me the part. I discovered that I needed more parts to finish the jobs. I drove back and they helped me with the new parts and helped me install it at the store. Old fashion expertise and friendly people. I wish I lived closer. We did and it worked! Needed a few replacement parts and they had those too. Expensive but these parts are hard to find and we needed them. They were very helpful! We won't go anywhere else.
