Jose and his crew took great care of us! They got the job done right and they were able to schedule us on their calender in a timely manner. During our move from Rancho Cucamonga to Huntington Beach, we had our pool table taken apart and placed into a POD and had our pool table reassembled and had new felt put in when we were done with our move 2 months later. They did a great job and I would reccomend the pool table guys to anyone that is looking for reasonable prices and great service. Jose is very responsive to my text messages and calls. Needed to have a pool table moved, so found their ad on craigslist and decided to call. Prices were fair so I contracted them to move a pool table. We agreed upon a time, date and price. They were a no-show! Call several hours before the appointment and after with no response back. Sent a few emails with no reply back. Very professional! These guys not only showed up on time to move our recently purchased pool table from Woodland Hills to the Hollywood Hills, but they were extremely professional in every aspect. Not knowing a lot about pool tables or what to look for when buying a used one, we lucked out and found one that was from a reputable and local manufacturer. It turns out that Jose actually worked for them at one point and was able to confirm that the table was worth what we paid for it. They're not just pool table movers. They actually offered repair services that the table desperately needed. Simple things like the "bumpers" were basically dry rotted and if you're not experienced, you wouldn't know. They installed new bumpers while re-felting the table, in which they did a fantastic job! Very reasonably priced for moving the table, re-assembling, re-felting and installing new rubber bumpers. I would like to recommend Jose and his pool table guy team. I purchased a used high end pool table from him with 1/3 of original price. They were able to deliver and install the table according to my tough schedule. The guys came in and get it installed within 2-3 hours and they have done an excellent job. The table look just like new and it matches perfectly with the dinning top. There is only one minor disappointment due to the accessory set came with the table was rusted and had some defects. However, Jose was able to fix it by replacing a brand new set. I still give 5 stars for their excellent customer service. read more

The guys were great and arrived on time. They took a bit longer than I expected but the did a great job and everything turned out great. We had two Brunswick Gold Crowns that we wanted to be refelted. They can in and checked there levelness of the table and fixed up some issues that I didn't even know we're there. read more

Found a pool table on craiglist and needed a mover so called several moving companies and although jose is the farthest one from my location, his price is the cheapest! Came the next day and on time, disassemble the table, moved, assembled and replaced the felt on my house all under 3 hrs!! Funny person but also very professional. They were at my home the next day and did the job quickly and expertly within my budget. DO NOT USE the pool table guys. I hate to give a bad review but it is necessary. Jose installed new felt and bumpers on my pool table that I have had for 10 years . 2 weeks after the install of the new felt I noticed it was peeling away at all the pockets, so I called Jose and he answered, I told him the issue and sent him photos, he agreed that the wrong adhesive was used and would fix it within a couple days. I called again after a couple days no answer. I text him no response , again and again. today is September 23 2015. this issue was supposed to be fixed in June 2015. Terrible customer service, Terrible installation. Save your money and hire a Real pool table repair service that knows what they are doing. read more

We just moved into our home and wanted a table. I called Jose in search of something that would suit our needs. I went to his shop and we talked about a few different tables and had agreed upon a table and time to set it up. I placed a deposit down for the table and time slot we had discussed. He didn't come at all the day we had set aside to be her for him. He said he would be there the next day and was late. He had two men putting the table together and the had discovered they left the right piece of felt at the shop. The men went on a lunch break while Jose drove to the shop. I was waiting. When he had returned I expressed my concerns in the table and how I wasn't happy because it's far from what we had discussed. He said not to worry because he would replace it because he knew he messed up. He also said he didn't know I would be so cool. Ummm... So the cooler you are you may get what you pay for? Nope. Even though he thought I was "cool", he has given me every excuse in the book. I got frustrated and text him to let him know I was fed up and I wanted my money back and that he could come get this pile of junk that sits in my home. He called me screaming profanity at me and I of course, yelled back. He prides himself on helping his fellow addicts by giving them a job but is completely dishonest. Later in this toxic relationship he revealed to me he has to keep everything he does "quite" because he is contracted to do business for a legitimate company that doesn't want him doing anything on the side. He had said he was certified and licensed but that's not true. I have started a civil suit against this man. Please be careful in dealing with this man. read more

We agreed on price and he built the table, without a deposit. As Jose built the table, he sent me pictures of the various stages of the table while it was being built. I had high hopes for Jose and his pool table. I wanted to give him a great review. At first he was cool. He seem really knowledge about his business, had good prices, and the timeframe of a week to build a custom pool table sounded great. I moved quickly to give him a deposit and ordered the pool table. After the deadline was up I called him to inquiry and he gave me the story that he had been busy. I'm an understanding guy so I gave him a chance. It went on like this for about 3-4 weeks. I had to be on him constantly to get my table. He finally delivered the table. It seemed nice. He gave me a pool kit that was part of the deal. All the sticks came crooked. He was suppose to give me extra sticks and a pool table cover for having me wait. I never received them. After a few days I notice that the bumpers seem to have been painted over and did not seemed new. Furthermore, the pool table was left unbalanced and there was a piece of debris left between the slate and the felt that redirected the balls. Needles to say I have a nice looking nonfunctional pool table. I called Jose and he said he would take care of it. A week went by. I called him back and he gave me the same story. It's been about 4-5 weeks after delivery and he still has yet to come. One time (after many attempts to get him to come) he said he would be here after a job in the area. He never showed up. After calling him he said he just forgot and said would come to fix it. Like I said at the beginning I had high hopes for Jose. Now I have to pay to get the table fixed. I just wonder how much more will go wrong in the future. My advise to you. Pay a little more and get a real professional. You'll be glad you did and will save your self the horrible customer service. read more
