I love coming here to wind down with a glass of wine, and relax on their spacious patio. This is the perfect spot to people watch, catch some sun, and just chill out! For those of you who aren't wine fans, not a problem! They've got a great selection of beers to choose from, too. And if you really feel like taking things up a notch, grab a cigar from their many offerings. This would be a great place to swing by if you're alone, or with a group of friends. Plus, you're in Downtown Upland, with plenty of restaurants nearby in case you want to grab a bite to eat, too.

I've been intending to pop in here for years, just enough on the edge of Old-Town Upland to forget about unless you come up 1st Street. The day finally came and chalked it up to reconnaissance, I came, I saw, and I made mental notes. First, there are several businesses sharing this old packing house (it's a genuine one, not faux modern like what Redlands did), so aim for the farthest door to the right when facing from the street. Don't be a dummy like me and try to open a door marked "Employees Only." Once I got situated, I was greeted and shadowed slightly as I explored the wine cellar area, a large room to the left upon entering. Conversation with the fellow working brought some interesting tidbits to light. For example, they close relatively early, even on weekends, so perhaps have dinner nearby, stop through for a cigar, and enjoy the live music. See online social media sites for the schedule. Bands range from jazz, blues, and rock- just go with the flow. They have outdoor seating areas, so you can enjoy cigars in or outside. The humidor is a modest walk-in type, well regulated climate, and a nicely curated selection. I picked one for my humidor at home and browsed their wines. I found the selection and prices to be quite good, and as stated, this was a first-look visit, I saw some things that I will definitely return for. I keep those cards to my chest, but suffice it to say, I'm eager to get a few into my own collection! Casual vibe here, I liked the location and interior layout, next time, I'll stay a bit longer.

I've been here for an engagement party and I've had my own birthday party here! There is usually a food vendor located in the exterior seating area. It's normally tacos and you can wait/eat anywhere since they give you a beeper to know when the food is ready. As for beers, I usually get my Hazy IPA called "Notice to Comply". It's delicious and always hits the spot. The beertenders here are always so sweet. They don't hesitate to support you. The restrooms are always clean. Again, my go to brewery! See you again soon!

My favorite is the Hanma which is a Japanese lager. Another is their version of mango wheat ale!

This pub is part of downtown upland, so there is sporadic parking located in surrounding areas. You'd get parking in the front if you're very lucky. As we walked in, we noticed some patrons sitting outside with drinks. We walked in, and the bar area with the bartender was quite packed. So packed, we couldn't walk towards the back. Luckily, the barista announced to us there's a server in the back and self served seating. When the patrons heard that, only then did the make room for us to walk through. We seated ourselves in the back near the kitchen, where a server named Danny was sweet enough to help us out. He had gotten us two IPAs and a margarita pizza. He also let us sample an additional IPA, since we were quite torn between two. He was very sweet and humorous, so shout out to him! He made our visit amazing! As for the pizza, I wasn't very impressed. Although I liked the dough, the pizza itself was quite plain. I've had some fantastic margarita pizzas, and perhaps this wasn't it. We promised Danny that we'd be back to try a different one, because he swears by it! Overall, the decor was quite interesting. I enjoyed seeing all the street signs and the alternative rock music they had playing. We will be back, as promised, when we crave another pizza.

We had about 26 people, and I was so concerned that I wouldn't be able to find a place that could seat us all on a Saturday evening. I emailed with Alex, the taproom manager, a little less than 2 weeks before the date I wanted, and she told me that they would be able to accommodate us! I was so incredibly relieved! After our axe throwing, we walked the VERY short walk across the street, and Alex and her staff had our tables ready to go for everyone! They made our huge group feel so welcomed and taken care of from the moment we got there! Alex explained to us that the food and drinks are ordered at the registers, which made it so easy and convenient for everyone to not have to worry about doing separate checks for a big group (that can get confusing and messy sometimes). The beers, seltzers, and food were all incredible!!! Even the most particular people in our group raved about how good everything was, and trust me when I say, that is a high compliment! The staff were absolutely incredible as well! They were so knowledgeable about the beers, so patient with our big group, and were just so helpful and kind! Everyone is still talking about how great everything was, and I'm truly so grateful to Alex and the rest of the staff at Rescue Brewing for making my husband's birthday so amazing!! I must say, the brewery really stands out with their bright and appealing logo out front. When we went in, the place was packed, but we were able to find a table for the four of us. To our surprise, they didn't just have a huge beer selection--they also offered a large variety of seltzers and cocktails for anyone who wasn't in the mood for beer. I decided to try the Tart of War, and my taste buds were in for a pleasant surprise. This sour beer had delicious notes of strawberry, pineapple, coconut, and vanilla. The brewery had a lot of TVs, which was perfect because I was able to catch the Lakers game that night. The bartenders were super friendly and worked efficiently, even with such a large crowd. The 90's alternative rock playing in the background had all of us nodding along. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. They also seem to have a happy hour on Wednesdays from 6-9 PM with food and drink specials, which is definitely worth checking out.
