We had such a great experience celebrating my dad's retirement at Pro Five Brewery! From my first call, their team (Nick and Rudy) was reassuring, cordial, and incredibly easy to work with. They were one of the few places I found that could comfortably accommodate a large group, they take reservations for parties of up to 36 but will work with you to meet your event needs. They made planning easy by allowing us to pre-order shareable plates and set up drink tickets for our guests. The food was delicious! The shareable menu had somewhat limited vegetarian options, but it wasn't an issue since we were able to order additional vegetarian dishes from the regular menu. They also let you bring in your own small deserts so we brought in mini-Bundt cakes and it was the perfect compliment. Keep in mind, they don't have space for you to place food in their fridges so we did have some melted frosting but nothing we couldn't work around. What really stood out was how attentive and flexible the staff was throughout the evening, forgive me for not remembering everyone's names but our even was on 9/25 :) so you know who you are! We were originally set up at picnic tables, but once they saw that we had a slightly older crowd, they had no problem moving us to a more comfortable table setup. That small gesture was really appreciated. The space itself is great for gatherings. The indoor area is a bit smaller than the outdoor seating area, so the patio gives larger groups plenty of room to spread out. They're also dog-friendly, which is always a nice bonus! We loved playing with Ollie :) The live music was another highlight. "Checkered Daydreams" was fantastic! The band fed off the energy of our group, and our group fed right back into theirs. They adjusted their music and creating the perfect vibe for dancing. It made the celebration that much more fun and memorable. Our party ran from about 5:45 PM to just before 9 PM, which ended up being the perfect amount of time. Even with a large party and live music happening, service was timely and the crew remained attentive throughout the night.

I had ordered their garlic fries and their poke nachos. The beertenders gives you a number, then you can display it at the table of your choice. The atmosphere inside is nice' they have cute string lights placed all around. They're also usually playing modern music or country. It does get a bit loud in there dependent on how many people are inside. Their garlic fries are very crispy and have garlic pieces sprinkled on top. The sauce it comes with is addicting. This used to be Dale Brothers and now Last Name Brewing…read more But they are the ones that make "Pomona Queen" One of my favorite brewery in Upland. Their beer menu changes seasonally but they keep their original popular beer all the time. They have plenty of video games you can play inside and plenty of seating inside and out. Depending on which day you go but they usually have food truck vendors there you can order food from. But best part of this place is you can bring outside food there. Great staff and great beer so what else do you need? Must try if you havent yet and some nights they do live music there.

I had visited Strum Brewery on a Thursday night with a friend. I had noticed that they didn't have dinner entrees for sale, so I had gotten birria tacos from two blocks down to bring with me. I had entered right upon opening, and had felt a sense of comfort being there. There was coloring paper on random tables alongside cute, random ballon characters/animals. There was a lot of pride representation and support scattered around, too. This brewery is also very supportive of pet adoption as it is advertised on their coasters. I was able to see the brewery cat for the first thirty minutes. So adorable! I had ordered their Purple Haze Hazy IPA twice! It quenched my thirst on a super hot day! They had AC fans going and it was nice inside. The beertenders were sweet and you can tell they're a good time! Nearly the time we left, they had live performers singing on stage. It was very nice to see! Absolutely will be visiting here again whenever possible.

The walls and counters display art by local artists. LGBTQ + flags are present. You got games available to play over here and community fliers to peruse over there. Wanna buy some jewelry by an Indy artist? Got that too! Overall, the vibe here is cozy, welcoming, friendly, and really feels like a hub for folks to gather over a pint. The community spirit is solid. My seltzer was delish! The friendly bartender suggested an addition of raspberry, so yes indeedy, please! Mmm! My friend liked her beer, but she likes hers icy cold, so she said she would've enjoyed it more if it had been colder. Indeed, beer not withstanding, it was pretty warm inside, and could've done with some airflow. At a point someone opened the front door. We knew from parking in the back, that there was no entrance/exit there for a breezeway. If you do park in the lot behind, you'll need to walk around the corner.
