Every time I've gone in, the shorter bald employee has come across as unwelcoming. There's never a smile, never a "thank you," and it always feels like you're inconveniencing him by asking to get into the humidor. I understand he likes to relax in the back and smoke, but as a customer it shouldn't feel like you're interrupting his personal time just to shop. Good customer service goes a long way, especially in a cigar lounge where people come to relax and enjoy the experience. I hope management addresses this because the shop itself really is a nice place, and I'd love to be able to recommend it without hesitation. read more

Nice and cool environment just outside of Ontario Mills Mall. It's next to a Smoke shop and a hookah bar. What an incredible space here in the IE! Comfortable recliners, plenty of TVs, and a formidable selection of the hottest cigars. Staff is friendly and the surroundings are plush and relaxing. They typically have a movie playing on several screens and sporting events on the others. Prices are obviously elevated but that's the premium you pay in California. Worth it to have an option like this especially for business travelers. None of the reviews talk about the drink situation. So you can purchase soft drinks directly from their cooler. A better option is to walk right next door, order a cocktail, and they'll deliver it to you. Viola! Extremely happy with my experience and highly recommend. read more

Stopped in from getting off my flight from Vegas. Looks like a pretty cool lounge to smoke in but I got my 2 Nub cigars to go. They only had the Connecticut and the Habano to choose from. I was really looking for the Cain Daytona but didn't carry. The selection is ok but didn't have what I was looking for. Service was great, cut my cigar for me as I requested. And friendly. I was on the fence on 3 or 4 stars because the value... $12.99 for a Nub is way too high... but I can't fault the shop because of the crappy Cali taxes.... But damn... too expensive I get the same cigar in Las Vegas for $8.99. All and all, I would like to come back and smoke in the lounge. read more

When it comes to reviewing cigar lounges, my key performance indicators are always the same. Friendliness of the staff - I was greeted by the same gentleman described in almost every review on this lounge. He wasn't rude, but he wasn't overly friendly. I just don't think it's his personality to be an outward people person. I can see how it would come off as rude or arrogant, but I honestly don't think he was being rude on purpose. That being said, if you are pointing to increase revenue, it might be a smart business move to a more outgoing, HELPFUL, friendly staff member in charge of the humidor. Lounge - I did like the set up of the lounge. Plenty of comfortable seating and an acceptable amount of TV's to watch the playoff games. The audio of the game was playing overhead so you didn't need to struggle to hear the game. I would have liked a more robust selection of non-alcoholic beverages - at least some sparkling waters or coffee. I don't know what I was charged, but for the price of cigars at this place, it should have been free. If you do want to charge patrons for drinks, add $.10 on every cigar you sell and just give away the non alcoholic beverages. It's low class to charge for drinks. Quality of humidor - as you see by my photo, the cigar I bought immediately came unwrapped. This is such a bad look for any cigar lounge. I didn't bring it up to the guy because as I said above, he wasn't very friendly. I just patched it together as best I could and smoked it to nearly 2" nub before it exploded apart. This should be priority #1! As for selection it was decent, but those CA taxes really jack up the price! All in all, this was a decent lounge and offered a pleasant place to smoke. If I'm ever in this area again I would go back. If I'm between this place and another one, I'll try something new! read more

I wasn't sure if it was a members only or open to the public! After flying in, I was hoping they had a house torch and cutter i could borrow... they did not disappoint ! Each table had a unique torch and ash tray at your disposal. The location was perfectly placed near shopping and next door to a bar that walked the drinks over. They are a BYOB with a great selection of cigars. 97% of the clientele was men, and other 3% ladies (including myself). Ladies, you will feel the love of you visit! They have a very large lounge, a private boardroom that had a hot game of cards in progress. They offer comedy shows and private events. Lockers? No problem! One of the coolest lockers set ups I've seen, built into the humidor. Their membership program is reasonable as well. Very hospitable crowd and diverse in culture and professional backgrounds! Culebra Cigar Co. Is located in Ontario CA just right on the outskirts of the Ontario mall. I was so happy it wasn't located inside the mall. Made it sooooo much easier to grab parking. Upon walking in there is a bunch of chairs for lounging while enjoying your cigars. It was pretty packed. My husband and I were greeted by a gentleman whom we assumed was one of the owners. He was chillin/talking with a bunch of gentleman. They all seemed to be having a good time. Pretty cool vibes/ environment. You have to walk through to get to the back where the humidor room is. When we got back there another gentleman was showing someone else some cigars. He greeted us and let us in. Unfortunately I deducted two stars because my husband said he looked him up and down and at his pockets. (Some short older bald guy.) Not sure if they deal with a lot of theft or that he just profiles people. But I thought it was super unprofessional and quite rude. Especially because he didn't do that to me. So not sure why he did it to my husband. To be honest if my husband would have told me there. I would have just left empty handed. I know he didn't tell me because I would have addressed this right then and there! I totally understand being cautious but profiling people is not okay. My husband pays for his cigar and tips the guy. We try to go in, and he says I have to smoke too. I do r smoke, but we would have got my husband two IF we would have been told that in the beginning.
