I purchased four large patio chairs from Raul on April 7th 2025 fopr $1600.00 and was told that delivery will take 5 to 6 weeks. Delivery estimate fully transpired and I started to follow up. Eight weeks later and with no chairs, I was referred to Ana after many unanswered follow up calls. She stated that our shipment is arriving on June 4th. I finally received the chairs on June 13th. Total time was closer to 10 weeks. What bothered me was the negligence in customer service. A complete lack of follow up, no sense of urgency, avoiding communication. I told the store that they can refund me (at their discretion), but they claimed to not have any authorization to do this. While waiting the 10 weeks for the chairs, I searched online and found many LA Superior Court cases opened by California Home Spas and Patio against customers that tried to cancel credit card payments or had defective items - in all cases, the customers were tried in court as defendants. Not wanting to get into legal issues, I contacted one of the owners - Mr. Black in early June. He called me back and said that FedEx had somehow lost all 4 of my patio chairs (which were shipped in individual boxes) and that I would be called once they arrive. No compensation, no offer to take a floor sample, no effort to make anything right. I just have to wait. This was my 2nd time using this establishment and I cant really go back or recommend them. If you have problems with delivery or quality, you cannot get a refund - and they will take you to court if you try to cancel payment. In the end, I do like my chairs - but there are many other establishments that sell the same brand and would probably do a better job in customer service. I had a good experience in 2022, but my 2025 experience was so bad that I'm shopping elsewhere for my next purchases.

That's when you contact the Leak Specialists and speak to Luis Perez. First of all, Luis is the most experienced and knowledgeable person when it comes to ANYTHING that is holding water in and around your home. It's hard enough to come by upstanding business people, but especially difficult to match that honesty with positivity and kindness. Finding gems like these gents is a rare occurrence at best, so be sure to cherish their expertise! They were professional and swift to respond, able to garner all important details over a single phone call. While schedules are tight during these post-pandemic days, they were flexible and found a midday slot that worked for us. Donning wetsuits and with dye kits and listening devices, pressure hoses and cables, the Leak Specialists deftly identified our issue (which on the balance, was relatively minor!) and at the same time assuaged our worst fears. No we would not need to blow the whole pool up and start again. At the end of the process a comprehensive leak report with annotated images is sent, and you can take that to shop around with repair services. So easy! Although I was about to purchase a hot tub from a large, well known dealer in Corona, I decided to look at Custom Spas Direct, which has good online reviews and happens to be very close to our house. I'm glad I did. I was not familiar with the Vita spa brand that Custom Spas Direct sells. There's very little information available online. After doing some digging, I determined that Vita is a decent, mid-range spa with competitive pricing. Nothing fancy, but it's built with good components from companies like Balboa Water Group. Dealing with Custom Spas Direct has been fantastic. It's a small company and we interacted directly with Jim Galpin, the owner. Jim is a straightforward guy and he was very helpful in choosing a spa. Since I was unfamiliar with Vita, I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. He quickly responded whenever I sent him a text with a question or request. After the purchase, he was super flexible with regard to delivery, setup timing, coordinating with the electrician's schedule, etc. The delivery and setup was quick and well done. The installer did a good job answering all of my questions. We've had the spa six months and have had a couple of minor issues. One was probably due to user error on my part and the other was not. In both cases, Jim responded to my texts immediately and quickly resolved my issue, even during a holiday week.
