Had a great experience with Adams Pool & Spa and wanted to share. From the start, their secretary was fantastic--easy to talk to, clear and concise about the estimate and costs, and even accommodated a last-minute schedule change without any hassle. They also texted 15 minutes before arrival, which I really appreciated. Adam came out to service our heater, quickly diagnosed the issue, replaced the faulty part, and thoroughly tested the system. He explained everything clearly, communicated professionally, and even left the heater cleaner than when he arrived. On top of that, he provided a 1-year warranty on the repair. Overall, prompt, professional, and high-quality service. I would absolutely recommend Adams Pool & Spa to anyone. read more

My pool has NEVER looked better!!! I had been with another company for many years and thought that my pool was looking good until Adam and his crew came to clean my pool. I now realize that it was never that clean before. My pool had turned green with the old company in charge and the they were unable for 2 months to get it back to normal..Adam and his crew came In and within 2 days the pool was looking amazing. Adam, Oliver and Pamela have all been amazing to deal with. They have all been kind, professional and knowledgeable. I hope to have them around for a long time! read more

So happy that we found Adam's pool service! We have such good service, even though we have never had someone to service a pool, this is our first since we recently had a pool built this year. We feel that Adam's does a fantastic job explaining the workings of the pool, what is being added into the pool and how to keep it maintained. All this value for a very reasonable price! Thank you Adam's! read more

Adam's Pool and Spa Service - Nice Clean Pool! - Pool Cleaners Near Me - Long Beach, California

Adams Pool installed a pool heater at my home this month. We were so pleased with their work. They were timely, their product recommendation was excellent and they went a little bit beyond what we expected. They even painted all the piping in our pool equipment enclosure to match the new pipes they installed as part of the heater. Excellent work as well as a very reasonable bid. read more

I engaged Adam's Pool Service for maintenance, appreciating their initial responsiveness and fair pricing. However, my overall experience was marred by several incidents. On the positive side, their prompt response to inquiries and transparent pricing structure were commendable. Yet, the service encountered pitfalls. The filters were scuffed during cleaning done on the asphalt on my street, and the salt cell was cleaned in a car wash bucket with muriatic acid and my pool water, questioning the efficiency of the process. A significant drawback was the tech's recommendation to use dry acid for a saltwater pool, contradicting industry best practices. This tech also felt the need to express his unsolicited view that pools are money pits and that he wouldn't personally have one. I found the comment peculiar coming from someone that is with a pool maintenance company, but the mishaps kept coming. The most alarming incident during the initial service was the tech attempting to place clean cartridges into an inadequately cleaned filter. I had to intervene, emphasizing a need for attention to detail and to throughly clean the entire interior of the filter. A couple weeks later, we discovered a leak at the filter plug due to improper seating before the pool equipment restart, further underscored concerns about service quality. To their credit, they did send a tech the next business day, but that wasn't a positive experience either. During the follow-up visit to fix the filter leak from the initial service, the second tech entered my backyard unannounced, neglecting to ring the doorbell, raising concerns about professionalism. Additionally we discovered he left my automatic actuator turned off at the end of the service affecting my water circulation, which, coupled with prior issues, pushed me to share this review. In conclusion, while Adam's Pool Service showed responsiveness and fair pricing, the various issues during both the initial service and the follow-up, combined with a series of poor experiences left me with a regrettable overall 1-star experience. I hope the company seriously considers this feedback and invests in more training and development for their technicians. One more note - Adam's follow up to my review not addressing any of the substance of my experience could be instructive for what you can expect. No accountability, no apologies, and no commitment to do and be better. The entirety of these visits were captured on my video surveillance system which I carefully reviewed for accuracy before posting my review. read more

I hired Adam to help fix the water balance in my pool. My prior pool co. was not communicating issues and I decided to swap. Adam committed that in 30 days the water would be spot on. At 60 days the levels had only gotten worse. At 90 days even worse. I tried to work it out several times, but couldn't get ahold of Adam (yes - I did miss a scheduled call) but the next two weeks passed w/o an appt or return call. I sent a final request for communication and 48 hrs later I decided to move on and try again. I do have a lot of plants, but that's no reason for this service to be unable to get the phosphates under 2000 in 90 days. Very disappointing as we had a plan, but it was not communicated to the techs and the filter was cleaned before the phosphate remover was added in sufficient quantity to drop the count. Also, my calcium count went from 300 to 500 in that 90 window. I did like the ability to text w/ the office and I liked the automated notice that the tech was en route. Had the arrangement worked out, I also liked the idea of paying for all chemicals once a year so I would not be nickeled and dimed over every adjustment. read more

Excellent service!! Left a message and received immediate call back. Scheduled appt to check heater leak and Adam came on time. He found the issues and explained in detail what part needed replacing. He fixed and cleaned heater on the spot. Very professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend! read more

Adams pools are great! We have been working with them for a year and had two really bad experiences with pool service companies before them that left a bad taste in our mouth and expensive repairs. They are extremely attentive and will accommodate any questions or concerns you have. I put alot of trust and faith in them and they always do a great job. They have definitely given me peace of mind compared to our previous pool service experiences. Thank you guys and keep up the great work read more

This is the second time we have used Adam's pool service. Both times Adam came out and resolved our issues on the first visit. Very professional, very knowledgeable and honest. Adam will take the time to explain exactly what the repair entitles. Adam pool service is my pool service go to company! Also at the time of repair Adam noticed water leaking from a joint and stated "Your leaking water from the fitting leading to the heater. I will undo the fitting and re-grease and tighten it for you" Great job! Thank you! read more

Adam has been cleaning and repairing our pool for several years. They always go above and beyond to provide us with great service.

We have had Adam's service for about 6 years and have always had good service throughout this time.

This guy and his response is a perfect example of the complete crap he will give you. He did NOT take over a pool that had any problems... my pool was only SIX WEEKS OLD when he started with us. Your lies aren't getting any better Adam. read more

Adams Pool and Spa Service is above and beyond. I have used them in the past to snap a NASTY green pool back into swimmable condition. Since then, I have referred every person that I know with a pool to this company. They really understand how water works and what needs to be done. 5 stars all the way! read more

We love Adam!! He has been a blessing to us and our pool. He's so kind and always ready to help. Can't believe how he makes our pool sparkle even after our tree service make a disaster of it with mud and leaves! I recommend him to everyone. read more

We had a pool guy prior to Adam and were not happy with our service. When Adam came over, immediately he said our pool was not being cleaned properly. And he found some things that were not working properly and needed attention. With Adam's Pool Service, our pool and spa are better than ever. He is attentive, and communicates whenever we reach out. I'm so happy we made the change. I'd definitely recommend his services. read more

Phenomenal service! My pool has never been at this level of clean. i'm amazed, and so happy they responded during my frantic search.

I have been using Adam to service our pool for over a year now. The entire time (except for once when he let the pool get green....ouch!), the service was good. He came when he said he would and seemed to be doing a fine job. I would chat with him every once in awhile when I saw him out working on the pool. Then one day, he didn't come when he was supposed to. He said that he forgot to send me a text letting me know that he was out of town and that a different guy would be serving my pool. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem except that he sent this guy on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of summer. I communicated to him that when you've got 3 kids, this is not a good time to service the pool. He apologized and said it wouldn't happen again. To me this was the second strike but I was willing to give him another chance. About three weeks later, he just stopped coming. He said he knocked on the door and tried to talk to me one day but I didn't answer. (I got this information from our pool builder.) Apparently, after that day, he just stopped coming. Honestly, it's my fault for not noticing but I don't always see him when he's here. Finally, after 3 weeks, I noticed that he hadn't been here to clean the pool. I texted him. No response. I called him. No reply. I sent him an email detailing my concerns and asked for a reply. No reply. Come to find out, he had stopped serving our pool 5 weeks earlier and hadn't notified me or my husband. Needless to say, I found another pool service. I'm very disappointed in Adam's customer service skills. I would be cautious about hiring him. read more

The pool whisperer. What a terrific guy! He was prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous. After a brief consultation was able to asses the problem and advise us. If we had been left on our own for much longer, we may have had a whole new (unintentional) ecosystem in our back yard! If I can figure it out I'll leave some before and after pictures. Thanks for helping us get our pool back, Adam! read more

Adam is great. His weekly service has kept my pool in excellent condition. His new system texts you 10 minutes before arrival.

Highly recommend. Adam and his crew keep our pool and jacuzzi crystal clear, clean and blue. He arrives on time weekly like clockwork - with a courtesy call to secure our guard dog. When our pump and filtration system completely failed Adam had it back up in a day. Nice guy. Total Professional. read more

We hired Adam after we had issues with Our last pool guy. He was very quickly available to start cleaning our pool and he is very professional. We had problems also with our pool vacuum which we had a few people take a look at, and no one was able to get it working, except Adam. Once Adam came, he got the vacuum going, and our pool has looked great since. His prices are very reasonable, as pool service costs have increased a lot as we checked with a few companies. Highly recommend Adam! read more

Adam is so great he took over my pool after being neglected by my other pool man! He assured me he could fix all my problems and get my pool back to health!! Adam is great. Prompt. Efficient. My pool looks great. My kids never complain of chemical. Love the guy.

Adam has been great. We appreciate his timely schedule, his easy ability to communicate via phone/text and his positive attitude. We had to drain our pool recently due to the age of the water, and Adam did a great job with following up and taking care of the chemicals, coming back several times in one week. We find his pricing very fair, given the exceptional level of service he has provided us. read more

Wow! We hit the jackpot when we found Adam! He is the nicest guy and goes above and beyond to provide quality service. When I had an unexpected problem with my equipment, he returned my text immediately. I had a problem with my pool vacuum and he promptly diagnosed the problem, sent me the link to where to buy a new one and offered to install it as soon as it arrives. He takes any stress out of owning a pool. His monthly maintenance is immaculate, he's prompt, accommodating, affordable, friendly, reliable, I could just go on and on. We're really lucky to have found someone that is as hard working as Adam! read more

Very disappointed with Adam's service this last 6-months - he serviced us for about 18-months. He used to be reliable and dependable with the weekly service then we noticed that he was not coming as scheduled by looking at the camera and the way the spa was looking. My husband would call and sometimes he would return the call, other times he would just show up. I don't know if maybe he's over whelmed now with so many customers. I will say that when he did service the pool & spa regularly he did well but we need someone that we can depend on. read more

I've owned many pools and have had many pool cleaning services. Adams pool and spa service is the best I've had. Adam is GREAT! He has been very helpful with our new pool When he discovered a contractor issue that comprised the integrity of spa/pool he did everything to get a hold us to communicate the issue. He did the same thing when it was discovered that the contractor defrauded us by giving us a chlorine system instead of the salt system we paid for. He leaves Fridays open so if we have a special event we are using the pool for, he is available to provide an extra service that week. His communication has been exceptional. We are looking forward to a long relationship with Adam. read more

This is a follow-up and amendment to my review of 2/17/2021. Adam reached out to me immediately and apologized for the break-down in comunications. He came the next day and began working on the pool. Adam came himself to do the repairs and his employee came and cleaned the pool. The valve has been replaced, the pipe repaired and the pool cleaned and he did no charge us for this service. We are very happy with his response to the problem and will continue to use Adam's Pool Service. I am looking forward to a return to the same great service that we had always received in the past. read more
