He was upfront on what would be expected of me and what he would do weekly/yearly. I had no idea what a pool needed. He explained that the pump needs to be run at least 6 hours a day to circulate the water. He would come weekly to test the water, clean the pool and check the small filter (and probably other things I forgot about). Yearly, he puts conditioner in (he explained what it does but I can't remember). A couple months ago, my pool started to turn slightly green. He put some other chemicals in to help it. But it didn't work. So he checked my big filter and told me it needed a cleaning . He and another guy came that weekend and cleaned it. After he was done, he texted and explained everything he did to the filter and pool and what I needed to do to make sure the water clears up. By the next day, the pool started to clear up. Within a couple days, it was back to normal. He's very responsive and helpful. He comes when I'm at work so I usually text him if I need anything or have questions. He speaks English but is also fluent in Korean. Totally hire this guy/company if you need a pool guy!

Well, we had three pumbers come out and said the drain pipes needed to be replaced which meant new concrete. It wasn't until the rainy season came and our backyard flooded so high it would come into the house (I'm talking 5 inches of water flooding) that we realized we needed something done. I looked for the highest reviewed companies to come out and give estimates. We proceeded forward with So Cal Pools who was able to begin the job a week afterwards. They estimated 2 weeks for complete new concrete, pipes and redo of the pool. We also got a love seat added in pool, decorative tile on seats, removal of a raised concrete area, stamped concrete which is more pleasing to the eye, new LED lighting, conduit for electrical in case we want to add a manufactured jacuzzi in the corner later. Everything went very smoothly and was completed on time. Previously it was Nathan who owned doing the pool work and Brady who owned the concrete work. NOW Brady owns everything (which is the best possible thing that could have happened for the company!) Brady is so honest, compassionate and constantly communicates during the process and even afterwards! There was never a single time he didn't reply to a text or call me back within an hour, no matter the time. I was pregnant during the work, and my husband was in Thailand, and there was a couple days that Brady brought food for his crew he got me some also (who does that?!?! Only the nicest of people). Our pool is beautiful now, our backyard doesn't flood most importantly and we're proud of our new backyard. Don't hesitate to reach out to Brady for an honest quote and beautiful work.
