Came across Milan Pools (Sidar) via Yelp and had a pleasant conversation with him on the help needed and scope of work . My expectations were simple: do business with an honest, hard-working company that takes pride in their work. Sidar took the time to understand my needs and came back with a competitive quote for the services needed. I was extremely pleased with his work and the time he took to break down and provide trustworthy feedback on any additional work that should be pursued to keep the pool in good condition. Sidar exceeded my expectations in communication, reliability, honesty and value. Sidar (Milan) is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend his/their services.

They also texted 15 minutes before arrival, which I really appreciated. Adam came out to service our heater, quickly diagnosed the issue, replaced the faulty part, and thoroughly tested the system. He explained everything clearly, communicated professionally, and even left the heater cleaner than when he arrived. On top of that, he provided a 1-year warranty on the repair. Overall, prompt, professional, and high-quality service. I would absolutely recommend Adams Pool & Spa to anyone.

Trying to keep this brief for my own time. From January to March I was supposed to spend 160 a month on pool cleaning, but pool was still dirty. So they charged an additional 120 in February for extra chemicals because I had a difficult pool. But end of March pool had a lot of algae and looked like it wasn't even being brushed. They wanted another $360 in more chemicals. This would bring my YTD to $960, averaging $320 a month instead of the agreed $160 per month, but the big problem was pool was dirty! I'm not paying 320 a month to have a green pool. Maybe if the pool was clean and they came to me asking to adjust the rate that would work. But I can't keep paying extra fees to have a dirty pool. The pool was so bad my new pool service had to charge an extra fee to get the pool started. They couldn't believe I had an active pool service. La pool guys had in fact been there earlier that week. Oh I forgot they did a filter cleaning duirng this time which I requested because pool flow was getting low. After the filter clean, pool flow was still low and pressure was at 20. They told me that's normal. Had to pay another service to come out. They cleaned it and got pressure down to 10 and a good flow. They said it looked like no cleaning was done. So add that to the money wasted this year. Other problems: They skipped cleanings without letting me know (holidays, rainy day, etc.) Only when I noticed the pool was dirty and asked about it, they would confirm they skipped last week. I need to be told when skipping weeks so I can clean the pool myself or make alternative arrangements. Requested service for an equipment issue. Their tech came and went and said they fixed it, but checked it and nothing was done and the same problem existed. Had to call a different pool service for repair and wasted time

I chose them because they were budget-friendly, but over time I started getting charged for extra chemicals and services I never approved. When I questioned the owner, he said they were adding extra chemicals "to keep it safe for your kids and family." That was ridiculous--I don't have kids or a family. If you're charging for something extra, ask first. Don't just add it to the bill. Communication is also terrible. I repeatedly asked them not to change my pool filter settings because they kept putting it on the highest energy setting. My electricity bill has actually tripled since they started servicing my pool. The manager repeatedly assured me he told the technicians not to touch the settings, but it kept happening anyway. Even after I had a third party come out and correct the settings, they changed them again. When I finally tried to call and address the issue, they blocked my number. Cheap pricing isn't worth the headaches. In my experience, this company is sneaky, poorly managed, and lacks basic communication and professionalism.

Prior to…read moreDavid Kim's organization taking care of the pool, I supported the pool by doing weekly chemistry tests, cleaning and balancing the water. I began doing this over a year ago because of a very poor experience with the prior provider. I wasn't doing a horrible job. I keep everything updated in software, noting chemistry results and logging all chemical additions. The chlorine levels and pH were within tolerance 90%+ of the time. So I wondered if anyone would care more and do a better job. The answer is that Chameleon does a better job; without question. Chameleon also uses software to log chemistry results (at a much more detailed level) and they have fantastic equipment to get the chemistry results (far superior to my strips). All of this, with photos of the work they have done, is emailed to us each week. I can't recommend Chameleon highly enough. Not only is the service reliable, the quality is excellent, the competency associated with understanding pool chemistry in detail is incredible (who knew phosphates were causing us problems), and the value for the money is very good.
