This company ruined my pool and now I am in the process of suing them. Here is my story ... On May 27th I hired Pool Connections to do my tile Job. The job wasn't almost completed till June 23rd ( not even finished )During the process they ruined my pebble tech. The people they hired left the demo and slug in my pool for a week causing a ring to be imprinted in my pebble tech. I voiced my concerns to Scott, which he told me my pool would be fine and the ring would go away. The ring is not only there but getting worse. I have tried to call him, but no returned call back. Also, the tile job was never completed. I am suing to have my pool re pebble tech as I'm told it cannot be fixed. read more

For anybody's information, Pool Connections isn't the company to go to for pool restoration (new heater, pump, filter, etc.; All installed in my home in March 2021). Scotty Hines, the business owner, isn't trustful to deal with. I ended up with a variable pump that was a '2019' model and to make up he deducted a few $ from the bill after giving me the excuse that a new one would have taken a long time, a cartrdige filter with a pressure gauge that after a year 'didn't show any pressure increase' (same for replacements) and never agreed to send his Tech to check it out after been pointed out the "Safety Factor" involved and, lastly, the new Skimmer installed started 'developing cracks and continued over time.' He's no longer going to do business in CA, last I heard from him, most likely because of many other people complaining about his business. The only reason he got 1 is because I couldn't give him ZERO. Non-Californians be careful! read more

After his assessment, he reviewed options and pricing on how to fix the issue. A few days later, we texted him with the choice. We are still waiting for a response. We texted again, then called and left a message, with no answer. His lack of responsiveness is very unprofessional, and a waste of our time. Ah, where to begin. From the the first phone call to the last, Scott was so professional--informative and kind! I had a heater fault ignition issue and Scott came to diagnose it. For some odd reason, our heater worked when he turned it on. He started it up multiple times without a problem, indicating it was running well. Despite agreeing to pay the service charge, he told me I didn't need to pay even though he took time to drive out to our place. If you need help with your pool equipment, Scott is your guy. That being said, my heater is not firing up, and I've been getting that same fault ignition message for the last few weeks. Scott: I think we need you help! read more
