Purchased it with the salesmen telling this is what I need to do the job. took it home put in the batteries and it didnt do the job. the salesmen told me they are not walmart and dont take things back. Really wish I had been told that before I purchased, my bad for not asking too. So I wish I could show the salesmen my pool and that I didnt clean it and just return it because as he insinuated, that I'm that kind of person (3 times) that he is not a walmart. Your product does not work and you knew it but sold it anyway and wont honor a return. If I was a devious person , a liar basically I would have said I didnt even use it , but I have been trying to find a product locally that i can use. Yes i did tell him to kiss my ass , as he told me there was nothing he could do for me. There was and it would have been the right thing to do, refund my money for a product that dosen't work. Buyer beware, ask about returns on anything you buy at this store. The Spa and Pool Center at8403 W Fairview boise.

We have been doing business with Snake River Pool & Spa since the mid 80's. We have never left the store disappointed. Every member of their team has treated us with respect and kindness. My experience working at Snake River Pools and Spa was extremely disappointing. I was verbally…read morepromised a wage of $19/hour during a conversation with management, which influenced my decision to move forward with signing a lease. I made it clear during that discussion that while $19/hour wasn't a dealbreaker, I needed clarity for financial planning purposes. I was told yes -- that I'd be paid that rate -- and was brought on through a temp agency at $18/hour. Once I was officially hired, however, my hourly wage was reduced to $17.50. I was told this would be temporary and that I'd receive a raise in the near future as I gained more training. That raise didn't come for another 8 months, and when it did, it was just 18 cents. During my time there -- nearly a year -- I was given increasing responsibility and eventually led deliveries. Despite the demands of the role, staffing was consistently inadequate. Most deliveries were handled by teams of just two or three people, which often felt unsafe. One particular delivery involving a Vanguard spa tipped over while we were using the company-provided equipment. I was nearly injured. (There is video footage of this incident from the customer's security camera.) In my opinion, the company places heavy demands on employees without providing the necessary support or accountability. This culture appeared to carry over into the customer experience as well. During my employment, I observed multiple instances where spas sent in for repair sat in the yard untouched for months. In some cases, customers waited weeks -- or longer -- for service. I'm sharing my experience in the hope that it helps someone make a more informed decision -- whether you're considering working there or becoming a customer.

Me and my three girlfriends were staying at the hotel for the weekend coming from out of state, and…read morewe chose the hotel partly because of the attached spa. It was difficult to schedule four services at the same time, but they were able to accommodate a facial and massage at the same time, and then two more massages right after. We thought our services were fine; my girlfriend had a prenatal massage and said her therapist talked the whole time which she thought was distracting, but I had the same therapist right after and we didn't chat at all. I know therapists usually go off the energy of the client that they're working with, so I think she was probably being polite and the therapist might have considered it being open for more conversation. Anyway, like I said, we did enjoy our services. We were hoping for a group discount, but instead they treated us each to a glass of wine, which we appreciated. We didn't use any of the gym or pool facilities, nor the locker room. The gym equipment seemed fine. There were quite a few people in the gym. We didn't see anyone using the pool, but there were people using the hot tub, sauna, and steam room. I would say that clientele leans more male, and the pool/hot tub/sauna/steam room are co-ed, so take that into consideration if you visit.

I wanted to an update after another 6 months of membership. I've been a member here off and on for…read moreyears. A few general comments: - The smaller size and location of the gym are positives in my view. If you need to drive and park, though, it's rough. They have parking through the hotel, but it's time limited and the garage gets full and unusable if there are lots of hotel guests or events. - The locker rooms are tiny, barely kept up (broken hooks, and doors, towels strewn about), showers are sort of just a mess (it's one big open space mostly). Also, on the mens restroom, the urinal continues to almost flood daily as it's been kind of clogged forever. You can use it, but don't flush it.. - Cardio machines are ok -- getting on the older side but work well usually Some frustrations continue to include: - They lease out the pool to external swim lessons, so there are large swaths of the day where the pool is basically unusable and kids are running around, screaming, parents are everywhere -- it's a mes - It's also the hotel pool and gym, so between that, swim lessons and normal members, it's a dirty pool if we are being honest. I used to swim here, but I've run into so many gross hairs and "things" underwater that I just can't do it anymore. - It feels like ownership has gotten a little excited post pandemic and membership growth has REALLY taken off the last few months. It's really noticeable and at peak times (4pm-7pm) it's almost impossible to get a weight workout in without massive frustrations. There's simply no space. There's one single real squat rack (the other is a smith machine type thing), a couple benches, one normal bench press ... you'll end up nearly bumping into people just trying to pick up dumbbells. - There also seem to be some third party kettle bell trainers running private training in the gym, which further takes up space and seems to always ALSO be at peak times. - During peak times -- FORGET about trying to even get changed in the locker room. It becomes like trying to change in an aircraft lavatory. - I don't know if they plan to cap memberships, but I worry they won't (like all gyms, they just love the money coming in) ... and it's now teetering on not being a usable gym option just because it's so uniquely small in terms of Sq/Ft. It just doesn't handle the extra people well. - For now I continue to go and mostly enjoy it but only because I have schedule flexibility. If I were forced to only go at after work times, it'd be a tough sell honestly. 4/5 for now -- but it's getting too crowded really quickly

For allllll the years I've been in Boise...I had never gone to this nursery…read more Way before I was even into any kind of gardening, I had always wanted to go to this place when it was actually on the north end...but never made it there. Sadly, there are ugly a$$ townhomes now where this nursery used to be on Hill Rd. Baffling to me that they'd tear down a wonderful place just to put up something so ugly. But whatever, right? It's happening everywhere around Boise. Ok! Enough of that! Last year, I planted 8 rose bushes and 8 delphiniums. Thankfully all my roses are still alive, but only 5 of my delphiniums came back. I also planted clematis. Lemme say. I did not get them here hahaha! I just realized last year....hey! Am I actually *good* at this gardening thing? And for someone who absolutely LOATHES summer! It was nice to finally find something that's as enjoyable as keeping amazing plants alive. I added 2 more rose bushes this year. Total of 10 now. It's very exciting for me. Again, did not buy at north end nursery, but I'm getting to my point lol. After all these years and now visiting any and all nurseries I can...I finally went into North End the other day and HOLY SH*T! What an amazing place! I mean, it has like a little store that is separate from gardening, but what they sell looks like it was all garden related...if that makes sense. There's a coffee shop inside the store! I hate coffee, but haha, seriously, what a brilliant idea! This store feels like a homey home. AND the BEST part...their best employees they have...DOGS!!! The dogs walking around and greeting people absolutely sold me 100% on this place! One rolled over for me to give her belly rubs at the same time a little cream colored one gave me tons of kisses on my nose! Seriously, how can anyone NOT like this place? Even if you're not a dog person, you have to admit...having like 4 dogs walking around as the greeters....even more brilliant than the coffee shop and honestly, just a beautiful thing to have as part of your business. I absolutely LOVE dogs and seeing them there and how sweet they are..made my day. The nursery is out back and the layout is fantastic and so homey. This really is a special place. Madeline's on Hill Rd has always been a favorite of mine (ya know, now that I actually love having a garden) but definitely added North End to my favorite places. Madeline's also has a very sweet doggie there who greets everyone. So yeah, if there is a dog or dogs...honestly, that's an immediate 5 stars for me haha. North End you'd expect to be super expensive. It's organic. Organic anything is way overpriced imo. The prices here there are very comparable to Edwards, Madeline's and others. There are definitely some things...like... Ok, I really want hanging baskets of flowers but I will NOT spend the $$ these places charge. I saw one at North end for $115!!! Gurl! Bye! Hard no hahaha! When I visit my mom back east, I can go to the Mennonites or Amish farms/nurseries and get huge baskets for $7! SEVEN. DOLLARS! That is stuck in my head. So when I see these prices everywhere here in Boise for the hanging flower baskets..I just cannot. Aside from that, I 1000% will be coming back to North End. This place, Madeline George's, and Edward's are my go to's now. All honestly offer their own unique experiences, plants, customer service etc. I called North End last week looking for a Blue Girl rose bush. He was nice enough to refer me to the other nurseries. I love when they do that. Told me to check Edwards. No luck. Found the LAST ONE tho at Far West. Another great nursery. I'm glad I joined the world of gardening. It's so much fun and gives me something to look forward to when it comes to summer and the pure hell that summer is hahaha! Discovering how great North End is...just added so much more joy to my new-ish found love of gardening. Didn't interact with staff at all while there. Very busy when I was there. That's fine tho. Hello! DOGGIES! Those are my favorite kind of employees anyway haha! Thanks North End! Glad we have you. And thanks for reading, YelperNorthEndereees! Cheers!

The staff is well-versed in all things garden and other plants. They're also friendly and helpful. I especially like the "succulent bar", where you can pick a succulent, a pot, and plant it yourself, using the perlite mix available. There's also an area for cute gifts and fun, locally made items. My purpose in going there for the healthy plants that haven't been sprayed with a bunch of chemicals, but there's so much more to this place, so definitely check it out!
