My husband and I usually go here when we visit the casino. We love the Calamari and the ambiance. My husband had dinner with his friend tonight and brought me home a medium well supposed to be burger, requested because I was pregnant. First bite, was sooo bitter! I looked at the patty and it was burnt! Inedible! I love some char but not this type of char. Reminded me of the first time I tasted black coffee and this was worse!!! This restaurant was one of two options us girls picked for our Saturday night dinner out on our annual girls weekend. Thunderstorm ended up showing up and it narrowed it down to Pom as It was closest. We're so jazzed to have "landed" here. Amazing food and wine. The ambience is romantic, fun and a little like what it might be to dine in an elegant and posh restaurant from the 50'sish. Just simple and beautiful. The staff was so attentive and efficient. Never once had to ask for anything as our server Gabriel L was either already asking us or was just on it. In fact a girlfriend asked if they had pesto dishes, they did not so she ordered a marinara sauce dish, and after Gabriel took our order in, he came back and said that they can make her a pesto sauce if she'd prefer. Amazing, right?? Anywho, it's a place where they put your napkins on your lap, hand you your menu, and place a napkins on the side of your water glass to refill as to not splash. Without wait we were sat immediately by an exuberant host. With no time to spare was offered water and a bread basket. My friend and I were under the impression this would be a normal evening. It was not. All the sudden we were offered another bread basket and more butter, our water glasses never went below the halfway mark, hosts were shimmying across the floor. Stuffed with bread and happiness we had also split the Asian steak salad. It was delicious. The server was sweet but one particular host had stuck out. ... Clint. He was setting tables in under two minutes, ensuring we never had empty dishes on the table and pleased customers left and right. Good food, mostly good service, but the fly issue is bad during the warmer weather. We bring our own Fly Fan. We have repeatedly complained to Managers on duty and they try to help but they can only do so much. I would expect the upper management to be more responsive and solve the problem like ensuring each table gets a Fly Fan! I unfortunately will have to stop patronizing this restaurant if this problem is not resolved. Dining at POM was an absolute pleasure! POM was one of not many restaurants that were open in the area on Christmas Day. Given that it was my brother's bday too, I really hoped the dining experience would be good. POM exceeded my expectations in many ways. The food was good (we got chicken parm which was LARGE, seafood scampi, steaks which were slightly over cooked but still good, etc). Even the free bread was delicious. I felt like for the price they had more of an upscale vibe and the $35 wine bottles to choose from was also a pleasure. The service is a bit on a slower side but it was still reasonable. We wined and dined and we got a surprise bday song and cake from the staff which made my brother very happy and his bday memorable. We didn't initially expect this nor asked for it so it was a true pleasant surprise. I want to thank every staff at POM for such memorable experience for the holidays and the bday. I love this place. Took my dad here pre pandemic and decided to come here for dinner post pandemic. The Manager is top notch. Really cares about the customer and gave us a nice table. They have soaring ceilings and delicious appetizers. The crab was huge fresh, tasty and plated well. My date had a shrimp and grilled watermelon salad that was divine. The entrees were also good. came here last night with a group of eleven for a 60th birthday party and we had a great time!! our drinks were amazing and the food was good! i had the lobster truffle mac and cheese and was expecting some small pieces of lobster shredded throughout, but i was shocked to see huge pieces of what im sure were two claws and a whole tail! it was a wonderful surprise. unfortunately it was quite a long wait to get everything. i completely understand since we were a big group, plus another large table sat just after us, but it was about 30 minutes from ordering to get our food. our group ended up getting quite rowdy and some were pretty antsy up until the food came out, but the staff were SO apologetic and kind despite things getting a bit noisy. i appreciate them all so much for handling everything so well!!! read more

Well I really liked this place...until Chef Freddy took the artichokes out of the Pasta with chicken and dropped the Chocolate Bomb from the dessert menu. The best kept secret in the Coachella Valley. POM is tucked away in the Fantasy Springs Casino and it is my favorite place to treat out-of-town guests. Everything is fresh and delicious, the food is flavorful a d interesting and the service is great. My favorite is the turkey sandwich off the secret lunch menu. It is not your elementary school turkey sandwich. This is Thanksgiving Dinner every day of the year. Perfectly smoked turkey breast served over their amazing bread (open face) with mashed potatoes and rich gravy, and cranberry sauce on the side. Worst dining experience I've had in over 20 yrs. It was awkward enough when the wait person was not knowledgeable about wine in general (I had no lofty expectations that any wait staff were Sommelier's), but troublesome when the wine we selected was stale (smelled of ammonia). When we ask for another different bottle, it was clear that wait person was upset and engaged his 'manager', In order to 'allow' us to order a different bottle of wine. The food was sub-par per the menu description and pricing. While I am willing to pay what a restaurant charges, in this instance, it was shamefully deceiving. The final and most disgusting event were the flies. Understandable while flies are occasionally present, on this particular day, the we're in flocks. When I tried to bring this to the managers attention, he conveniently was no where to be found. Needless to say, we spent most of our meal time swatting them away. A friend and I recently went to the POM restaurant downstairs in Fantsay Springs Casino. I love the food and atmosphere there. I had the nicest server Juan very pleasant. Also, the assistant manager Antonio was pleasant and attentive and made sure all was good with us. When it was time to pay our bill, the assistant manager Antonio came over to tell me I still had money left on my voucher, and if I didn't use it, then I would lose it. So would I like to take some desert home. We chose the warm apple pie...delicious. So those two gentlemen made my dining experience even more pleasant and enjoyable. read more
