Amazing serviceband food. Elizabeth our server ready with great suggestions and very efficient. Food was excellent. Home cooked flavors and generous portions. We will definitely come back.

Roasted chicken?
Luis S.

I was wondering why poor rate? But I definitely agree with all this people, I can believe this roasted chicken were so bad, looks like they buy this chickens at bjs or Costco and reheated in the venue. Service good, ambience? Just like any other place that I visit there is no ambience! Hope the owner can read this words and perform better food service here. So disappointed.

Parrillada de carnes

We had the parillada de carnes , bbq meats , let me tell you something , what a delicious y amazing tray. The chicken is special season by the chef. The service by the staff and owner is top service. Thanks for amazing diner with my family. Enough for 4 people

honestly, I love the restaurant, the chicken is amazing but the hot sauce is 3 for 1$ and it's not even filled up in this economy I feel scammed...

Very disappointing experience. I placed an order and called back within minutes to change it, and…read morewas told it was "not allowed" and that either I would have to pay for the original order or they would. That makes no sense, especially considering how quickly I called back. Even more concerning, when I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, I was told there wasn't one available. That's unacceptable for any business. Instead of helping resolve a simple issue, they made it unnecessarily complicated. Customer service here needs serious improvement.

I was impressed by the large variety of options on this menu. I ordered an empanada to start followed by a mini bandeja. There was nothing mini about it! As you can see by the pic, portion size are not skimpy. Overall, the dish was good, only thing I would change was the steak. Had a little too much fat for my liking. But the chicharron and frijoles were great. The jugo de guanabana was delicious. Empanada was good too, though I would've liked a bit more of a flavor kick. They have a few tables and bar area for indoor dining and a covered section outside. Restaurant was busy, with customers dining in or picking up orders. Seems like a staple for the local community which is great to see. Service was friendly and moderately paced. Will return if in the area!

Why 4 stars? Because these arepas were different, but enjoyable…read more --- --- --- To-date, I apparently have only had Venezuelan arepas and wasn't aware of how different Colombian arepas were. Colombian arepas (or at least the ones here) come with a sweet, corn tortilla and are more open faced: to be eaten with a fork. In the past, I've had flour tortillas that are designed more like a taco and eaten as a handheld. So despite the differences, I (and my friends) enjoyed our meal. Let the official record state, I ordered the arepas con queso with chorizo. We had plans to eat our way through Jackson Heights, but because a couple of the places we planned to visit were closed, we actually just mostly hung out here and enjoyed our arepas of the sweet and open-faced variety. It was a good afternoon.

This was my first time trying an arepa, and honestly it was one of the best introductions I could…read morehave asked for. Before this, if someone mentioned arepas, I probably would have confused them with pupusas, which I'd only seen at street fairs and thought of as more of a sweet item. I had no idea they came in savory versions too. I went with the carne asada arepa, and the beef was fresh, juicy, and cooked just right. It's so common for places to overcook little chunks of beef, but here it was perfect. Each arepa is big enough to split between two people, so the price feels very fair. The filling was generous, with beef packed inside and even overflowing out the sides. They also serve the arepas with a rack of five or six sauces to choose from. Some were spicy, and one had a sweet condensed milk flavor if you like a mix of sweet and savory. My go to ended up being this green mayonnaise sauce which I assumed was like some sort of a lime mayo, which added the perfect tartiness to the rich cheese filling.
