Terrible. I don't expect a whole lot from fast food places, but man. Made take out order. Got there they said they're working on it. Cool. Large party arrives, they all get their food. I ask again, One employee asks another, they say they're working on it. Ok. more people show up, order, get their food. I ask again. Get the same answer. This went on for 30 minutes, till i asked every employee. Finally one competent female employee (I wish I caught her name) looks down and my bag has been sitting there the entire time. Annoyed obviously but it again, its fast food what do you expect. Get home. Disgusting. And i really like this place. Brown rice completely discolored and had been clearly left out to where it was literally crunchy (should of took a pic) and looked like it was just thrown in the box by hand. I think the picture attached of my fries tells a lot. I know burnt batter crumbs in the bottom of a fryer when I see it. Service was quick and they're well staffed. However I was sharing with my wife and needed another fork. I had to flag down someone to get one. This location is definitely better managed than other locations in Central Florida. Don't get me wrong, I'm still mad that they took away the sauce bar and the soda machines in the dining area. But...the food was decent. I ordered the Tropical Tri and it was not bad at all. Yes, the meats and beans could've used a bit more seasoning, but I was able to adjust the flavors whit salt and the sauces I ordered (Poyo Poyo and Cilantro Garlic are my favorites). The price of their food has skyrocketed, like many other food establishments, but at least it was good quality food and it will definitely fill you up. The staff was great, super friendly. Came here for lunch off the recommendation of a friend after landing in Orlando and had a pretty decent lunch. The rice bowl I had topped with fried chicken was pretty tasty as well as the cheese waffle fries, and I like that they have an array of sauces that are all good (the cilantro garlic was my fave). I could've left the empanada bites as they didn't have a lot of flavor, but I like to try everything I have my eye on when I eat at new places while I'm traveling. The guy taking our order was pretty friendly and patient with all my questions so that was a plus. The dining room could've used an extra staff member on clean up, but as I said, it was a pretty decent lunch. Well, coleslaw is the -only- one of their sides that works on my keto diet. Beans, rice, yucca, potatoes, all bad. So I ended up settling for their balsamic tomatoes which had a good flavor but were soggy and really didn't fit on my diet. There's nothing else they have as a side that I wanted. I got a full chicken and Pollo's process is grilled. That's usually very tasty but today's chicken was dry and not very spiced. Almost bland. I did stop at their condiments bar but the sauces are all quite sweet and I have no idea what goes into them. As well, the sauce bar was needing a serious wipe down as it was sticky and not clean. We came in behind a family that was gracious enough to let us go ahead of them. The young man at the counter took our order. My husband ordered the half chicken and I ordered the pork. One of our favorite sauces was out--the cilantro one. My favorite is the curry one. The food was hot and delicious.
