The Alfredo pasta was bland, pale, and topped with tiny pieces of chicken that looked nothing like the photo online. CARIBBEAN food should have color, flavor, and real seasoning. None of that was in this meal. The food was so bad my turkey is still untouched. I even thought about taking it back to the restaurant to show how disappointing it was. I really wanted to like this place. I came in on a Saturday evening. I was greeted by the owner who was welcoming and friendly. I ordered the 6 piece wings lemon pepper with mashed potatoes and cabbage, and added two pieces of catfish. The wings and catfish were both fried well. I found everything perfectly crispy. The fish was too salty for my liking, and I'm the person who likes everything salty. But that's a matter of opinion. The real issue was the sides. The mashed potatoes were probably the worst I've ever had from a restaurant. They had a yellowish hue that was consistent with the color of the cabbage. You can see in the picture the potatoes almost had a thick hard crust along the edges. There's absolutely no way those were made in the last 3 days. And if they were, they aren't being stored properly. The "gravy" tasted like chicken bouillon and water. The cabbage was equally as bad. I don't know what they're using to make the food yellow, but it's not butter and it looks unappetizing. The saving grace was really the fish and wings being fried well. The prices are also very reasonable. I won't be returning, because this place gives me the vibe that it's hit or miss, and sides are very important in my opinion. When I'm eating something fried and salty, I'd like a light veggie such as cabbage or an airy mashed potato to pair it with. But the only things edible were the fish and wings. This is a small local joint that locals tend to flock to and it's very much a if you know you know type of vibe. When you walk in you'll see the rapport from locals with the restaurant staff. It's very much one of a mom and pop joint but the food certainly doesn't lack. The staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable and they always provide great service. We got an order of jerk chicken with rice and peas, mac and cheese, an order of salmon as well as an a la cart of shrimp. The jerk chicken was flavored to perfection, the spices hit just right. The mac cheese was seasoned well and still cheesy. The salmon was cooked perfectly, seasoned so well while still remaining juicy. The bottom line, this place is truly a hidden gem, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is amazing and all reasonably priced as well. This is absolutely worth a visit. read more

It's remarkable about all the different items coming out of the small kitchen. My favorite was the jerk chicken, which was unusual in that in addition to the jerk seasoning it also had a spicy sort of barbecue sauce. We placed a to go order over the phone. It was ready on time and the people working there were super nice as they were last time! This time I decided to try their jerk alfredo pasta with chicken. This was sooo good! It was very well seasoned with a nice kick of heat and a great creamy consistency. There was a generous amount of chicken perfectly blackened (I always have trouble finding good blackened chicken and seafood and wish other spots did it as well as Seana's!) My bf ordered meatloaf with their mashed potatoes and delicious liquid gold mac and cheese and enjoyed it very much. We also got s beef patty which was tasty. Everything was well seasoned. The shrimp were nice and crunchy; and the jerk was spicy and balanced, but not overwhelming, which made it enjoyable. Everything is freshly made and served piping hot! I was impatient and bit into the chicken leg, hot, hot but it burned soooo good. No greasy fries, no greasy chicken or whiting. All was nicely fried. The chicken thigh and legs were crunchy and flavorful. The wings are hot and delicious. I don't think it's honey, we think it's syrup. The whiting, my husband is particular about the flavor of seafood not overpowered by seasonings, he said it was a bit much. He ended up removing some of the breading to better enjoy the fish, which was really good. The fries were crispy outside, fluffy inside and hot! The rice is good and flavorful. The service is welcoming and attentive. We asked questions, answered with a smile. TL;DR - Great prices, great snapper, good chicken. A definite must try. If you like whole fried snapper, you have to try Seana's. Other restaurants tend to overcook snapper, so it turns out tough. Seana's snapper was light, flaky, and delicious. It comes on a bed of rice, so I chose the rice and peas. The rice and peas didn't have much flavor; it could have used more salt. For sides I chose sweet plantains and fries. The fries were good enough; I'd get them again. The plantains threw me for a moment. They were cooked to blackness on the outside, but inside they were surprisingly good. I'd get them again too. We also got a fried chicken leg quarter and an order of candied yams. The yams were unimpressive. They seemed to be just yams and corn syrup. Couldn't taste any cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. They were a bit better with some salt, but we'll pass on them next time. There must have been a mix-up with the chicken. We got two unidentifiable pieces of white chicken. They were oddly shaped and didn't look appetizing. That chicken was a fighter to the bitter end, I guess. Anyway, the chicken tasted very good. The downside was that we were expecting dark meat. All in all, I'm excited to try more stuff here. I paid $46 for this meal that includes rice and lemonade. The Chops were overcooked and overpriced. The Chops had this long incredible sounding name but I found them tasteless. I decided to get the pineapple lemonade because ummm why the heck not! The food was simply amazing and I literally enjoyed everything. The jerk chicken was spicy but not overbearing. The jerk sauce gave it a nice kick. The meat was also very tender. I appreciated the yams not being overly sweet because most places dump tons of sugar. The cabbage was tasty but slightly mushy. The rice and peas were really good. The cornbread was yummy with a nice sweet taste. The sweet plantains were way over-fried but those things are easily fixable.
