We decided on the family meal with chicken, rolls, rice and black beans. Since we both love plantains, the bean side got changed. The restaurant has a good menu of sandwiches, chicken, salads, bowls and other dishes like Cuban style pork. They also offer a variety of sauces to spice up your meal and the pineapple rum sauce is one to try. The chicken had a good flavor, although it was a little tough and the plantains were cooked just right. The service is good and the employees are happy to assist, they want your business. The cashiers were friendly and kind, providing us with as many sauces we needed for our order and refilling our beverages with no complaint. The food could be best described as slightly elevated fast casual food. It's a great option for larger groups due to their family meal deals. I typically get the mojo pork and always get a side of the cheesy yucca bites to enjoy with their garlic cilantro sauce, this locations rendition of it did not disappoint. The restaurant looks nice from the outside, but when you walk in it changes. The bathrooms were super dirty and had flown in them. There were flies everywhere inside the eating area. Once I went up to the counter to order the food I could see more flies on the food. My husband made a joke and said. It's like eating outside! We ordered and the employee made a mistake he was in training. I aske him to cancel the order and order it. The manager came and in front of the new employee stated that he made a mistake and that they are unable to cancel it. Luckily I had not paid yet. We ended up leaving. I decided to switch my usual order of a tropichop to a crispy chicken cuban sandwich which looked delicious in the photos by the drive through but instead I got this monstrosity. The slowest moving "fast food" place in history. You sitting drive through for literally 30 minutes which is crazy.

Came last night and waiting in line that backed Golden Gate BLVD. I was mortified to see the drive through employee handing out orders and preparing food without gloves or, properly wearing his mask! Love how it feels like a restaurant but is actually a fast food place. You order and sit down. There's a salsa bar. Very disappointed in the food. Had eaten their catered food from work and loved the beans and rice. However from the restaurant it was tasteless and cold. Everything we ordered was cold except the chicken and the potatoes were burnt. We asked for mashed potato instead and that was cold. Cashier acted like he needed a vacation and did not like the fact I ordered only beans and rice, though my husband ordered a full meal and other sides, plus flan. They have a wonderful menu of fresh food grilled for the those in a hurry or on the go. I had the 1/4 grilled chicken and pork loin with yellow rice and veggies and a Cesar salad. I have eaten another salad here before and it was amazing. I wish they offered another salad instead of Cesar for a side item. Went here for dinner tonight and it was not a good experience. We should have walked out when we were in line but we didn't. The lady in front of us ordered take out and when she got her order it was completely wrong. They had to refund her order and re do the order. And she yells the number in English so my husband grabs our food and we head to a table. Well we then realized we had no cups so my husband went to get those. Then I realized my tropi chop bowl was missing half the toppings I ordered and it clearly said on the ticket. So I took that up for them to fix, then I realized when I got it back my chicken was cold. It was an overall bad experience. There is no excuse for the lady yelling out the numbers in Spanish when everyone in the place was Caucasian or Haitian. Maybe English or creole would have been beneficial. There were 10 people working behind the counter cooking and putting fold together. They can't be in that much of a hurry to screw up everyone's food when there are ten people assembling and cooking it. The mango sweet tea was empty for the whole time we were there.
