I am a huge fan of Cracker Barrel. I don't care what anyone says..... you can leave very satisfied. We sure did. Our server was so gracious. Her name was Jade L. Really sweet and attentive. Let's talk food. I had Chicken Fried Chicken with corn and hash brown casserole. Love me some hash brown casserole. The chicken and southern gravy was delicious. Husband had a breakfast. Grandkids had the chicken strips with fries and the grilled cheese with fries. All of our food came out hot and was delicious. There was an elderly man sitting alone. For some reason he touched my heart. So we decided to pay for his meal. It was the least we could do and it is nice to be a blessing to someone else. Hurrah for Cracker Barrel! It's always a solid meal whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We made a stop here for breakfast before we hit the road to head back home. The crowd started coming in about an hour after we got there and it was perfect timing since we didn't have to wait for our food. The cinnamon roll skillet was the perfect sharable to start off with. We were provided with biscuits along a side of gravy with butter and jam as well. I got the old timer's breakfast with two scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, and a side of grits. It was so, so good! Our waitress was excellent and checked on us periodically to see if we needed anything. We weren't rushed and everyone enjoyed their meals while each other's company. A nice enough cracker barrel that is much like many of the others all around the country. Recently stopped here on the way home from visiting family and decided to pick up a couple snacks, hit the bathroom and grab a drink while I was here. The bathroom could've definitely been cleaner and the trash can was overflowing so I had to balance my wet napkin to keep it from falling on the floor. The staff here was very friendly and got my drink I asked to go, very quickly and gave me the check to pay for it. I was able to find a couple awesome candies I haven't seen in years so I grabbed some of them and went to pay. Paying was a cinch and the lady working the counter was very friendly and got my items scanned and bagged in no time! The location, other then the bathroom, was very clean and the staff here was very friendly! I'll make sure to stop by here again on my travels in the future! read more

Using the online waitlist is an easy way to avoid the crowds. Service is always friendly, and while normally I would say you can't beat the pancakes, which is true, this time I tired the brand new BBQ smokehouse burger. I couldn't have been more impressed. I prefer Medium Rare but they will not go lower than medium and it was absolutely delicious. There is a car-themed restaurant known for their amazing burgers, and the new Cracker Barrel BBQ smokehouse burger is just as good - if not better. read more

Cracker Barrel restaurant is always crowded, and that's a sign of good food. We recently had breakfast at this restaurant and the food was delicious. Their menu has a good selection of different breakfast, lunch and dinner items. I decided to try the chicken and French toast, while hubs went with the traditional eggs, sausage and biscuits with gravy. We were both pleased with the fast service and good quality food. I requested hot sauce for the chicken and it added the perfect flavor. Cracker Barrel has been around for a long time and is nationwide. Their business model of offering reasonably priced food with good service in a country store setting works well. The servers are friendly and the restaurant is clean with a great selection of souvenirs and treats. We had a meal at a Cracker Barrel years ago, but hopefully our next visit won't be nearly as long. I've never experienced Cracker Barrel until I moved to Florida. Me and my family went for thanksgiving, the restaurant is super nice, I love the old country vibe it has and the authenticity that it brings as well. When waiting for food walking around the store is fun, they have so many different things and have bought quite a few things when I've visited. The food is amazing well cooked and tastes really well too. The workers were very nice and made ordering easy and laid back. I ate turkey and mashed potatoes from my family's plate and the potatoes were warm and seasoned well and the turkey was cooked well and not dry, the gravy was very flavorful as well and paired nicely with the potatoes and turkey. The prices of the food were also very fitting for how much you get and the quality of the food as well , Cracker Barrel will be a place I will find myself returning too. read more

Food is not the same. Biscuits that used to taste homemade and served fresh from the oven are now inedible. The country style green beans are now obviously from a can and tasteless. Corporate cost cutting is only going to make business worse. Maybe raising prices a little bit would have been better than changing the quality of the food. We always love cracker barrel! The food is always good. The store is always so fun to look thru, and it has a great vibe. This is our 1st time at this location. It wasn't too busy, The food was good. The server was good, and the host could have had a tad bit more personality, but she led us to our table and told us the specials. The only complaint was the bathrooms. They were discusting. Floors were filthy, and 2 toilets were stuffed full, and the other had a dirty seat. Not hard to do a restroom check once and a while. I would recommend they do them. It's a Cracker Barrel, so you know what to expect: country music, lots of stuff on the walls and absolutely mediocre diner food. Seems most of the dishes are either very salty or very sweet. I absolutely enjoy the southern comfort food Cracker Barrel has to offer for brunch. They stuff French toast is absolutely divine and they have a cheesy hash brown casserole that will blow your mind. I am not sure why the biscuits are always dry and more flat than flaky and puffy, I have grown up going to Cracker Barrel for many years. We had our Thanksgiving dinner here and the food was a disappointment. Everything was smashed on a plate, hardly recognisable, green beans were too salty and overcooked and stuffing was dry. Cracker Barrel outside of the Deep South struggles to always serve the correct thickness of grits for some reason-this one served grits that were too watery so when one mixes their over medium eggs and grits together you get your food liquified. Who does not love Cracker barrel? We do...hubbie loves the big arsed breakfast, especially the grits, hash browns and smokey bacon..He says their hash browns are THE best. I ordered the fried chicken with two sides of coleslaw,which was very fresh and creamy and a salad. We enjoyed our food I especially love cracker barrels decor and country, farm style, old world style. I also always have a giggle about the big hearth with a real fire especially being in Sunny ol' florida, makes me chuckle Everytime. The service was as ever prompt and friendly. Actually, they call it Country Fried Steak but down in Florida it is chicken fried steak ... at least where I come from. My chicken fried steak was a mite bit tough but was tender the next day warmed up. The gravy is to die for; you have the perfect twang of sausage with nice creamy white sauce. Biscuits were fluffy and hot. I love the potato casserole and could eat a bowl of only that. The fried apples are tart yet sweet. We always have great service. As my husband settles the bill I have the great honor of shopping in the Cracker Barrel store. I love buying candies from when we were kids. I also bought two blouses and a pair of earrings. As far as chains go, I kind of like what Cracker Barrel is selling. It has its old country feel to it that's kind of comforting and fun. The outdoor rocking chairs and big checkers make this place fun for pretty much anyone, but especially those with families. And the inside with its country market is great way to get extra money out of you because there is always something for you to spend your money on in there. We were seated and our waitress got our drink order. She left and someone else asked us for our drink order. Doubly serviced, but we told him we were taking care of. The menu is full of country classics like country fried steak, chicken tenders, hot turkey sandwiches, and more. I ordered the chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. I liked the macaroni and cheese and the dumplings. The chicken was dry and the potatoes didn't have much flavor. Tons of salt and pepper needed for sure. Our service was pretty non existent as well. We had asked for refills and butter for our bread and it took at least five minutes for her to come back. We got the "how is everything" essentially whenever we were done eating and it took longer than typical to get our check. It wasn't a great experience overall. I like Cracker Barrel because of the home made biscuits. My issue has not been with the service staff as they are always top notch. My sweet tea glass is always full and the friendly table side manner makes you feel at home. The issue is the food sometimes does not come out hot. I mentioned this and was told I should let the manager know. The managers (in times past) would stop by your table. Not so the last four times ar the Toll Plaza location. The restaurant is clean, bathrooms could use some updating, the general store is always stocked with some item my wife cannot leave without and the staff is always smiling. read more
