Never been here before even though we live nearby. We agreed that what was good was VERY VERY good and what was bad was awful. The chicken fingers were awful. Deep breaded to death and pounded flat, they were skinny, overcooked and over seasoned. Pass! The charro beans were fantastic! Tasted absolutely homemade like Mamaw' beans in the 70's. Delicious! A little spicey but complimentary to the fresh flavors. Honestly, a delicacy. The plantain was excellent. A lovely side companion. My wife's carne asada, served in a chopped heap in an aluminum bath was excellent. Tender juicy and flavorful without being overseasoned. An absolute yes. We will definitely be returning often enough to try every bit of this menu. read more

I ordered chicken floutes and half a chicken no sides just the chicken. It was 40 dollars. I got home only the flautas made the bag. I went back and said I did not get my very overpriced half a chicken. The worker asked me for the bag? I said it was at home. So I paid 40 dollars for an order of flautas. Run!! Form this ripoff place and buy a hole large!! Chicken from Sam's for 5 bucks read more

Waited in drive through for about an hour and when I got to the window to pay I had to place my order again... also over charged me for food I didn't order. And served me my food separately by the time I got home my food was cold never again will I eat here ridiculous I was better off going to a restaurant and sitting down with a waiter. I'd give 0 stars if I could. read more

Today for lunch I went through the drive thru and ordered grilled chicken. When I got to work to eat my lunch, I opened the bag and the chicken was not only burnt, but it was dried out. I went back to the restaurant to show the lady at the counter and she even said, Oh wow, it's burned to the core. You can't tell me that they didn't notice that before they gave it to me. The lady at the front counter gave me some new chicken, but I was late getting back to work on my lunch break. I hope this will help someone to check your food before you leave the drive thru. read more

Always so fresh, and tasty!! Will be coming back for more OFTEN!!! The service is amazing, everyone working is so sweet and although there is a small language barrier sometimes the workers are always patient! DO NOT GO HERE! The staff along with the manager have no earthly knowledge or common sense on customer service along with what FAST FOOD DRIVE THRU stands for! Unfortunately this was my first time here, and I will never be going back. First of all no one at this place speaks English, second I waited 35 minutes for someone to bring my food out. When I got home which is about 15 minutes away I sit down to eat and notice my order was incorrect I ordered chicken flautas and got home and realized they were cheese. I called back to the store to speak with a manager and she was no help at all. Places like this, with that type of customer service should not even bother to open. I am absolutely disgusted sad to say. Not to mention to top it all off I got called a liar by the supposed manager. #weshouldhaveNOSTAROPTION! read more

3-13-24 at 3:30 pm The service was terrible the young HM at the drive through did not speak English. The ambiance was similar to Guadalajara. The food, particularly the beans, were probably a week old. Please beware this place has turned into a dumpster fire. read more

very good service i was in and out fast with my lunch thanks to Julia for goood customer service

Good service Julia was really nice and took care of my order which was really good and fast

I like the food here and they are about 5 minutes from my house. But these employees are the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I live alone and have no need to buy 7 tacos at one time, but you can order just 3 if that is what you want. Not so with flautas. I went to the drive thru and asked for 4 chicken flautas. When I got to the window the dude said I had to order 7. I think flautas don't hold up well as refrigerated left overs. I simply and politely asked why I could order tacos in any amount I wanted - why not flautas. He said " Because That is just the way it works around here and if you don't like it you can go somewhere else, maybe Taco Bell, then I could go . . . " . Well you get the message. After giving that place my business for YEARS. I stopped and will never return. EVER! read more

Just stopped by for some chicken! And MARY was an amazing host! She greeted us amazingly! Provided a well detailed knowledgeable guidance to the menu. Service was quick easy and collected! Thank you MARY G. Would definitely come back just to say hi! read more

DO NOT go there. The staff, including the store manager, have no clue about customer service nor what fast drive thru stands for. Today was the second and last time I go there. Over 15 minutes to get our food. read more

Muy rico el pollo, y las flautas... se las recomiendo acompañadas de una agua de jamaica ahora con esta calor, muy atento el personal el servicio muy bueno y el ambiente del lugar muy fresco y muy limpio read more

The only thing worth getting is the grilled/smokey chicken. All chickens come with rice, beans, and tortillas. The chicken isn't as moist, but the seasoning makes up for it. I love the condiments stand, it has with different sauces and salsas. My favorite is the green sauce, which happened to be the spiciest. The lunch menu is pretty good also. You can get half a chicken for $7.50, or 2 pieces of chicken for $3.99. Can't beat that. All el pollo regio I had so far are all good. read more

My friend and I had a bad experience at a different Regio but we decided to give it another try this time the one closer to our work and boy we were happy that we did. Not only was the food wonderful but the service was AMAZING!! Adriana thank you for making it a pleasant experience and making us want to come back!!! read more

Adriana was very helpful and the service was wonderful I would recommend to bring the family to eat

The food tasted great.....it always has/does.......... Ordered 2 whole chickens for a family dinner BUT I ordered on line and was "told" by the system My order would be ready at 4:56pm. I arrived promptly and my order hadn't even been pulled up yet....a ten minute wait............. The "large" sides are now a pint instead of a quart......order extra! The charro beans were at least 40%-50% strips of salt pork...........I ordered beans not salty bacon fat........... I did not receive the salsas (one green/one red) that are supposed to come with a "whole chicken"......good thing I ordered extra salsa verde or we would have done without...... The tortillas were all stuck together.......so you got at least two instead of one or did without.............. I won't be back to this location read more

Easy order ahead n pickup! Everything requested was in the order. Chicken is fantastic, grilled whole onion, beans n rice n sauces with warm corn tortillas. Delicious! read more

If I could give it a half a star I would. My first time trying this place and my food was straight trash. I got the half chicken which I'm sure had been under a heating lamp all day long because it was so dry I couldn't Even Eat it. My corn tortillas were old and all stuck together I could not even separate them. I asked for no Tomatoes on my salad he said ok and when I got my food I saw there were tomatoes all over my salad and I told him I said no tomatoes and he said that's the way it comes which I understand but he should have told me that from the beginning and I would have ordered something else. All the employees were in the back eating and my order took a minute. I wouldn't recommend at all! read more

My boyfriend and I come here all the time. Today there were mistakes on our order so the manager remade all our food (hooked up) plus she gave us free deserts and drinks. Forever loving this place! read more

This Pollo Regio is one of their better locations in Dallas with a beautiful, modern dining area and tasty food to boot. The location is easy to get to...just off Garland Road at Jupiter. Just look for the billowing smoke from the building letting you know that the next batch of roasted chicken is almost ready! One thing that needs to be underscored is that they don't JUST serve rotisserie chicken, but have a full menu of other tasty meals. DEFINITELY try one of the baked potatoes made with chicken, beef or plain style. A must have if you're a foodie. Also try a quesadilla with your choice of meats. A full salsa bar with one of the hottest habanero pepper sauces I've ever had can be found along with complimentary chips. A must try for any chicken lover. Enjoy! read more

Don't even think twice about giving this place a shot, the food is freaking delicious! I've seen this chain in various spots around Dallas but didn't think to stop by until today. Let's just say no one spoke until all the chicken was gone, it was that good. We got the half chicken and split it between two people, it was more than enough. The chicken itself is marinated and grilled/smoked. It is very well spiced, juicy, and delicious! It's reminiscent of tandoori chicken, but a little bit spicier. It came with a great Mexican rice that I used to make tacos out of. It also came with a sweet grilled onion which complimented everything so well. They also have a great salsa bar (think taco cabana set up but 100 times better salsa). They also have free tortilla chips that are authentic. They have this fantastic green creamy salsa that goes so well with their food. Not sure how good the other ones are but this location was very clean and we got great service. Btw, try the churro. It is so delicious! My only wish is that they would be open later! read more

Food was so disappointing. I was craving a quesadilla from Pollo Regio and this location was closest. Sadly, I couldn't even finish half of my food. This "quesadilla" barely had any cheese. The chicken was not like I've had in my quesadillas before - it was shredded with tons for chicken skin and few small bones. My husband ordered a burrito and had the same issue. We definitely think it's the location because we have never had this issue at the Pollo Regio we usually dine in. Three stars for the chips and cashier who was friendly. Will not be coming back to this location. read more

I come here often enough where the employees know me. The service is normally pretty fast. I order the salad most of the time but I have to bring my own dressing because they are really limited with the selection. But other than that it's a pleasant experience to eat there. read more

I really like this place. It's SUPER clean, cool and comfortable. It was a cool industrial look to it. The music was a mix between current american and latin pop. The menu has a good amount to choose from. The food portions and presentation was on point. They are not greedy with thier food what so ever lol. And I love the salsa bar. So many choices, and they offer free tortilla chips! I don't know maybe it's because I'm a sucker for salsa, but I'd have to say this place is a great stop when you need that Mexican food fix. I could have sworn my grandma was back there cooking with how authentic the food tasted. I shall return! read more

The thought here's always so amazing I have seen that there rice is handmade that's why it is different every time but every time we do go it is always so very good reminds me of my grandmother's cooking. The prices here are a bit high then other places but what do you expect for fresh food it is not come out of a heater it is fresh you pay for what you get. The staff is always so very nice here and the place is always clean a highly recommend this to anybody looking for a good environment to eat plus the chips and sausa are a plus amazing. read more

Talk about good chicken...this chicken is Great. They made the once nice looking place into a great looking place..you can see them grilling the chicken and the aromas hit your senses when you walk in... The chicken is grilled to perfection. Pulls from the bone like it was meant to be, with a great flavor. Dont forget the beans..authentic and full of flavor. Tortillas are nice and warm. Youll love this place..it's sure to please and it's a nice change from the normal fried chicken. Great prices. read more

Delicious, tender, juicy, and all at a fair price! The chicken had a charcoal grilled flavor!

WORST QUE EVER! So much for fast food, the few times I've been here I've had to wait and always end up telling myself "well, maybe this time I won't have to wait too long" but that hasn't been the case, each time I've come I've had to wait at least 20 minutes AFTER I've placed my order, besides that the food has been good. But if you're looking for fast food THIS ISNT the place! read more
