This location is really convenient but it was the most expensive pedicure I've ever had. It was also the most uncomfortable. It was anything but relaxing. I asked for flowers and they were very juvenile. The woman doing my pedicure did not seem to have experience and was actually hurting me while filing my toenails. I was honestly embarrassed to have my toes seen. The next day I went to another salon on my lunch break and paid to have it removed and have my nails re-painted. read more

If you claim that you are open until 5:30pm, but don't want to take customers past 5 then don't promote that you're open until 5:30pm. That's like showing up to Whole Foods 30 min before they close and them turning you away. As far as I'm concerned, it's just a lazy and unprofessional way of operating a business. Luckily, Creation Nails takes customers up until they say they close, and told us that they will accept customers past when they close if they are still operating. A "customers are first" attitude is the type of business I want to spend my money at and refer to my friends and family. Polish actually gets 0 stars from me. read more

Well, the positive, it's light and clean inside. But honestly i was annoyed when the gal doing my toes literally cut off 1/2 my nail. :/ and when i said, "just a trim" that still didn't work. Watch carefully if you don't want your nail to be short as your skin. read more

This is just based on walking in and not getting a service done. Appears nice and clean, but we were told we couldn't get in for 4 hours for a pedi and a full set wouldn't be available for 5 days! Only one girl does them. Sounds like they need more help or more skilled techs. read more

I have been going to Polish now for a couple years and am always happy with a job well done. The place is always clean and the staff is professional and such a joy to work with. I've brought my to girls even a couple times and they are so friendly a d warm with them as well. So much that my girls refuse to go elsewhere. I've been to this nail salon twice now both times for gel manicures. The location is ideal for me, and I like that it doesn't smell of chemicals since they don't do acrylics. However, this is where the positives of this salon ends. First visit was a manicure by Burcu, a lovely girl who clearly wasn't thrilled about being a nail technician. The mani was minimal (more of a polish change), and cost $35. I wasn't overjoyed by my experience but tried the salon again for a last minute mani. This time I was seen by Mindy(? I think that was her name as she didn't really talk the whole time). This time my mani was more extensive but the tools used were not sterilized and the massage consisted of being punched on the arms....at this point I'd already decided this was my last visit. Not only is the quality of service here subpar but the professionalism of the owner is terrible, she sat talking very loudly about very private matters with her clients and then started talking derogatory about Chinese people. Considering my tech was Asian and sitting right within earshot I was incredibly uncomfortable. Needless to say I won't t be back and wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

I've been here a few times over the last few months, and my most recent visit was likely my last. The salon is clean, updated and tidy. It's a bit more expensive than I've ever paid for any nail care, but the convenience (I live in the apartments across the street) and the luxurious feel made it seem like a worthwhile treat. On my last visit, the nail tech, Sunny -- whose name far from reflected her disposition -- brought an especially bad attitude while being rough with my legs during the pedicure massage and was so unbearably rough with the cuticle removal that I'm surprised I didn't bleed. She was also indifferent about her bad polish job, and when I asked the owner/manager to redo one of the nails, she inspected and decided to redo all of them. I spent almost 2 hrs at the nail salon, and it wasn't very relaxing. I was so disappointed and felt I paid way too much for the nail service/bad service. Maybe Sunny was having on off day but for premium pricing, I'd rather not deal with it. read more

I definitely found my new nail salon! I walked in around 4pm on a Thursday afternoon and the place was empty - no waiting for a manicure. The salon was immaculate - I had absolutely no concerns about cleanliness. Mike did a great job with my nails, and he was very nice and polite. As a first time visitor, I was offered a coupon for my next visit, which would bring the price of a gel manicure down from $35 to $30. I loved this place when I started going a few months ago. I got a couple gel manicures that lasted a really long time, and the staff was friendly. But the last couple of times have been a let down! Last time I got a gel French manicure. It started peeling after three days! And after a couple more days the flesh colored paint started to bleed through the white tips, so I was left with really gross looking nails. Today I went in and asked for a regular manicure. I think maybe the lady who did it was put out that I wasn't getting gel. I had a few tiny spots of my previous gel manicure left on my nails and I was charged 10 bucks to take it off on top of the price of my manicure! Then she started going to town with the cuticle trimmers. I noticed it hurt more than usual, and when she finished I looked down and 9 of 10 cuticles were bleeding! I couldn't believe it. In the past I have only ever had one finger cut into with that tool. She also cut one of my nails down so far that it is now really sore. I'm not sure I will be coming back here. They say they accept walk-ins, but in all reality they don't. I have tried to walk-in to get a manicure 4 times in the last few months and have been told they were too busy everytime. I have went in at 3pm on a Thursday to 6pm on a Saturday. The crazy thing it they didn't even seem that busy and the last time I went in 2 girls in the back were folding towels. I get preferring an appointment from people, but with my job it's extremely difficult to know exactly when I am home. I guess it's time to look for another salon.. read more

Worse place EVER!!!! Don't even waste your money or time! I went in to get a shellac manicure, I specifically asked the chick doing my nails what polish would last the longest, she said if something chips you can call and we will get you in and fix it no problem. The next day on 2 of my nails polish chipped! I called the and the owner who answered the phone rushed me off the phone instead of offering to fix my nails! She advises that her daughter who did Them will call me back and fix it and hangs up in my ear! Days go by no phone call so I call back and the daughter states that she never got my msg and I advise that I'm frustrated that now a week later my nails look like crap after spending $45 to get them done! In addition my cuticles are now super dry!! She gets defensive and said that even though she didn't get my msg that she's sure her mom offered to have me come in and I advise if she did offer that why would I be calling back!?! I don't appreciate being called a liar or wasting my time! This is the most unprofessional, ratchet, and expensive nail salon ever! This was my 2nd eyebrow waxing here. They do, do a good job but this time after she was finished waxing she didn't check for any leftover hair that the wax didn't get and tweeze it like the first time and all other places I've gotten waxed. And the first time I swear the eyebrow waxing was $12. This time it was $15. I understand needing to make ends meet but $15 for an eyebrow waxing??? And the first time the staff member gave me a $10 off next appt coupon. Didn't say what I could use it on just, since it was my first visit I could use it next time. When I gave the card to this staff member she said no that i could only use it on a Gel Mani or a Pedi. (Either way it'd be $10 off something). I said OK and put it back in my wallet. Super expensive, super clean, super nice. I did dip and within 24 hours a nail popped off. She said "you can come in and we will fix it for free no questions asked" I went in and she said she was the only one who knew how to do dip and she was busy doing a pedicure, while the other two just sat there. I had to come in the next day early in the morning because she said someone would be there who knew how to do dip. Upsetting because one of the other two could have took over for her and she could have fixed my nail. Within that time frame more popped off so when I went back the next day to get it fixed, one of the two ladies who were sitting there from the day before ended up fixing them and she didn't even do them right. I asked if I could replace them with shellac since so many of them had popped off and she said no, if more pop off after this fix, then they will do shellac... I went home and 10 hours after getting them fixed more popped off... how many times do I have to go in to get my nails right?? Also paid for a pedicure and she made me out of my shoes while she painted my toes and it was obvious my pinky toes was shoved in there, but she pained them anyways, so now they are smeared. I have been twice, pedicure felt rushed both times, barely scrubbed my feet, massage was mediocre and the nail tech reeked of cigarettes at both visits. I opted for the more expensive pedicure the second time hoping for better results but no change. First standard polish manicure was amazing, done by Mike and lasted over a week. Second manicure I paid extra for the vinlylux Polish-chipped within three days and my cuticles were incredibly dry. I won't be returning. You can pay $5 more at mokara spa for an incredible pedicure. read more
