CAUTION THIS BUSINESS DOES NOT FOLLOW STATEWIDE MASK ORDINANCE!!! I would like to say first, that I contacted the owner regarding this issue and have had zero response. Sitting in this salon they play a message over the radio requesting customers to contact the owner with any issues or concerns. I intentionally waited to post this review, giving the owner ample time to respond. Upon entry to this salon you get the impression that they are taking COVID-19 concerns very seriously. But I was very concerned with how little my nail tech Tiffany wore her mask. She was the only one in the salon not wearing one, she only put on her mask when she used the nail drill. Every single customer and employee in the salon wore their masks at all times, except Tiffany. As a nail tech she is exposed all day to the general public, it is quite concerning and completely lacking in care to not wear her mask. I think it is clear that this salon is making a show of effort to keep their customers safe from COVID, but if one of their employees is not wearing a mask all of those efforts are wasted. It's irresponsible and does not follow the statewide mask executive order. The owner should have responded to my message and more importantly should address the way this employee is putting her clients and the rest of the salon clients at risk. This review is for Tim! He is just absolutely wonderful. I don't get my nails done often, but after seeing Tim I am Going to start going at least once a month. He is such a kind person and extremely personable. He pays a lot of attention to detail, really takes his time on you and gives the best massages. My mom urged me to go in and see Tim because of what a great job he does, but also because of how nice he is to talk. She was right! This was the worst manicure I've ever had in my life. Tiffany immediately started filing my nail down for SND gel without soaking, filing and cutting the cuticle. The application was THICK and sloppy and she was very lazy with filing. I expressed my concern during service and she tried to fix it after, but the damage was already done. She cut my cuticles after the fact and cut me. I was bleeding and now my cuticles HURT! She filed my nails down so much and unevenly. It looks like I have stick on nails! The polish doesn't even match my nail shape. Wish I read the reviews before coming here. I'm stunned by how unprofessional, LAZY and SLOPPY this manicure was. read more

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER COVID 19 I am here to say that I had such a great experience with this salon for my pedicure. My appointment was May 16th, about a week after they reopened due to COVID. I was pleased to see how sanitary everything was. I had to answer some questions about COVID on a touch pad computer, then they took my temperature with an infrared thermometer. You can tell that they were very careful not to cross contaminate anything. The owner walked around and disinfected everything right after a client touched it. I was also super pleased with the quality of my pedicure. The lady was super sweet and really took her time cleaning my nails up (they really needed it). I highly recommend getting your appointment set up with this salon because you can be sure that you will be safe there! read more

Welp, I waited a full year to get my nails done again and left very dissatisfied. The gel manicure lasted less than a week. Peeling on almost all fingers. Typically in a manicure, they put cuticle oil on the nail and soak in warm water. No cuticle oil, soaked fingers in cold water, and then he cut my cuticles. This was painful. Two fingers were bleeding when I left and no apology when I said ouch! Also, the pedicure didn't last more than a day. The gentleman did not help with my shoes and coat when moving, and I accidentally messed the big toe up. He painted over the mess up and the first time it was in a shoe...game over! I paid $55 plus 20% tip (it's covid & I'm going to tip regardless) please spend your money where you know you'll get a good one and please give me a recommendation for a solid nail salon in Arvada PLEASE!! read more

Every time I come in the shop it is very clean and always evolving. Owners are involved and always ask how the services are going when they are here. The staff here are always very sweet, actually listen to you and perform with a solid work ethic. They take the time to listen to your thoughts about their services and honest with wait times. I spent my Saturday and my young sons Saturday driving back for them to "fix" my nails and that same day after being "fixed they all started chipping again. Worst nail service ever!!!!! This was my second time in this salon. Went in for a rebase and pedi. When i arrived i was handed over to Apple (I believe was her name) who had done my nails the time before. I showed her the nail design i was looking to do this time. It was very hard to understand her but from what i understood she could do and would require a new set of nails which i said ok to. Then however when we sat down to do nails (after pedi) she did rebase only, whispering something to me i didnt understand when questioned, and then the job she did was horrible. It looked nothing like what i asked for, and thought was agreed to. When i commented with concern over how they looked she said thats cause its ombre so its not even. Thats how they should look. I went ahead and paid for service and tipped for the pedi i was happy with (pedi was done by a different nail tech) thinking maybe i just needed time to adjust to the new nail design. It didnt however change and after closer inspection i can say this is the worst nail job i ever recieved. There is no consistency in texture, color or shape. Shelac top coat is uneven and completely missing in spots. I have received negative comment after negative comment from peers who see my nails about how horrible they look and i should get my money back. To make things worse after looking at receipt i found Apple charged me for a full set of nails when again she only did a rebase! No new nails were put on my fingers. I was very disappointed with Venus nails & spa today. I called in to make sure they do calluses with razors and the owner assured me twice that they do so I scheduled an appointment for mani and pedi. I arrived to my 11:30 am for my appointment and had to wait until 12:15 pm to start my pedicure. While she was doing my pedicure I asked her to use razor for my calluses and she said I am sorry we don't do that. Since I already spent 45 minutes waiting I decided to go ahead and do my pedicure and manicure at this place. I sent message with complaint to number listed on the wall of the salon and the manager responded me and offered to discount my services for $30. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The person that was giving me my change kept giving me less change than I was owed after my full price (without the discount). I complained to her several times. At that time manger came over and said give her $15 discount and that he will call the police on me for harassing his business. Meanwhile I paid my full price and did not get the service I expected. Honestly extremely disappointing time here. Brought my mom and sister here for my sisters birthday. They had fairly good reviews on google (should've checked yelp). First off, we had an appt and we arrive and they say they had an emergency so they only had one person on staff so we would have to go one by one. We understood that things happen and we were already there. The man in the front said he would make sure to take good care of us and keep us happy. His words exactly. The pedicures all turned out fine by my sister got acrylic nails and she had a design she wanted, she showed the lady a picture and she said she could do it. Once again, should've known. Anyways, everything gets done with and my sisters nails turned out nothing like the photo!! She was embarrassed to speak up so I let the lady know afterwards that she really didn't like them and she was like "well I can't do anything about it I told her the price beforehand". I let her know it's not the price that's the problem, but the fact they turned out nothing like the photo. And after bickering back and forth she settles on a $5 discount on her $75 acrylics. I told her that was absolutely not ok. I told her I respect her work and time so I'm not asking to get them for free, but $5 off? Sorry. Not acceptable. She proceeds to take photos of us without our consent. I ask for her name and she refuses so I take a photo of her. She gives us $10 off and it seems like her coworker is the one that convinced her so at this point I'm like whatever. We'll pay and leave, but just know that the job you did was terrible. I pay and we leave and she proceeds to follow us and yell that she'll just cut the nails off for us, told her we'll be going to someone else. She then runs out while we are in the car and takes photos of our license plate. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and it should've never got to that point. Especially after we already paid... with only a $10 discount on a $239 tab. Do not go here. Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon for a gel manicure while the family was over enjoying Urban Air. I was upsold by the lady who sat me saying that the dip would be better. I caved and thought "why not". Minutes after her starting I knew I had made a mistake coming in. The lady didn't ask any questions on my preferences and just went to town using the dremel so aggressively that I had to pull my hands back several times to tell her that she's burning me. I've never experienced such a disspapointing nail salon expericece. The dip had chunks and hairs in it, and her application process was sloppy at best and ran beyond my cuticles onto my skin. How did she correct this issue? By again taking a dremel to my skin to file back the dip to a shape that resembled a nail (press on nails look better than what I ended up wtih). She filed them so thin that they chipped/broke within 3 days, which is faster than gel polish (isn't the purpose of dip to be a happy medium between acrylic and gel??). I wasn't going to argue with her and just wanted to leave as soon as she was done. She never asked if I liked them, just wanted payment, which she insisted be by Venmo or cash. I get it, I will tip in cash, but when I am harassed about the whole payment being by Venmo and being asked "well how much cash is in your wallet?" I got a little irritated. I paid by Venmo but was rudely instructed I could not use "Nails" in the comment box (was instructed to put "Thank You" only). Ironically the woman that I experienced is the same woman that another reviewer posted about. I highly recommend anyone going here to do some research on other salons in the area that have better quality and service. read more

Not only was the service sub par, my nails look horrible and one of their nail techs quit and walked out right before she was supposed to do my manicure (she was having a dispute with the Manager). We decided to try this place since my mom is new to the area and had gone once before and had a good experience. She made an appointment for us to have Manni/pedi. So I have been to many pedicures at various places and thought I would try this out. I opted for the hot towels one it's a step up from their basic one. Mind you in the past the hot towel part is left on your legs for at least three minutes. For this one they just used it to wipe off the citrus scrub from my legs um ok. Then I selected a dark red but after several coats it just looked black. I asked if they could do nail art on the big toes make a fall leaf pop out and they exchanged words with other workers and they never gave me a direct answer about it then I sighed and asked for a gold overlay thinking maybe it would make it a little more bearable, but after she slathered it on I went next door to Sally's and got remover and a new color. This salon has appointment times you can schedule online, but when I was there I heard several people simply calling in for appointments . You walk in, get temp checked, fill out some covid forms and then it's time for nails. I got the deluxe pedicure. I'm typically not impressed with pedicure massages, but the hot stone massage was absolutely phenomenal. May, my nail tech, took her time with my nails and they turned out great plus she was very sweet and easy to talk to even though I tend to be a quiet person!
