Well, they're serving customers without masks. In the middle of the most contagious week and largest current outbreak of Covid so far. Dude walked in as I was finishing up and the staff didn't tell him to put on a mask. I paid and walked out wondering if I should even eat this food. They served him. It's an open air raw seafood bar, which already needs to be cared for in a very specific way to prevent food-borne illness. My coworkers keep talking about this place so I decided to give it a try . The parking was convenient in a small shopping center . Inside was clean and cool despite really hot outside . There were 3 people working , one of which seemed to be the owner . Very nice guy. He helped me with welcoming attitude and helped me choose my selections . I got the sushi burrito with soy paper , hot Cheetos, salmon And sweet salmon inside , with spicy tuna . I don't like imitation crab so I asked him if he could do spicy tuna instead of crab . Normally they charge extra but he made an exception for me which I appreciate. The toppings are also good choices . I got edamame, cilantro, onion, jalapeño, cucumber and fried onion. For dressing I got garlic ponzu. Added avocado . With everything came out to about $16 and I added tip which came out to less than $20. If you want to have an idea how it tastes , you can imagine biting into a huge huge sushi role, with your favorite ingredients. PokiTomik was far better than I thought it was going to be after seeing that Cheetos dust was not an option but rather a given, and that there were 2 'sauce' stations (one for the fish marinade and one to be drizzled over the whole thing). I mean, that kind of setup is just shouting that they're trying to cover up the natural flavor of the fish. BUT... Their salmon (I always get double salmon unless yellowtail is an option) was actually quite good, and they LOADED it with masago - my favorite! And the burrito was expertly and evenly rolled, even though it was a rice-on-the-outside-of-the-nori roll and it ended up sticking to my wax paper. Maybe that's the real reason they like to roll it in Cheetos - keeps it from sticking. The guy very nicely offered to only half roll my burrito in Cheetos after seeing my expression upon learning Cheetos was a given. For $11.99, the portion here is far smaller than similar poke places - I polished the whole thing off despite not being that hungry, and usually I have trouble finishing either a burrito or a bowl. They definitely don't use the same size scoop of fish as other places to. But for a surprisingly well-balanced and well-put-together burrito that tastes refreshing and healthy despite being held together with Cheeto dust, this is a solid spot! read more

They have really good quality fish and the bowls are very filling. We got a bowl with spicy tuna, great quality and the ingredients topped on it were very flavorful. I think the only issue I had was the spicy tuna was a bit too spicy, it makes it kind of hard to eat because it burns a little but it's still good. read more

Ok first of all let me start by saying this is one of my favorite places to grab food (specifically their sushi burritos) when I'm in town but today was a total disappointment. I walked in and for 5 min I was just standing around waiting to be served. The business was left unintended and when the boy finally showed up from the back not only there wasn't any greeting or apology for the wait he was the one with the attitude. I still went ahead and ordered my food because I crave this all the time and I'm in town only once in a while but the burrito wasn't wrapped properly and fell apart as soon as I took it out of the bag. I did do my best to eat the burrito but ended up extremely frustrated. It was a mess. I really hope the business owners see this review and take action because I'd hate to see this place close down. It's small with 3 tables but it's clean and the staff was great; good attitude and helpful with recommendations. I've ordered from here before, but I don't know what happen this time around... the sushi burrito was insanely small, and for being more expensive than the small poke bowl I would expect more ingredients than the bowl? All the pictures on yelp show bigger burritos than this one. The ingredients are super tasty and fresh but this burrito was a pretty big let down compated to the poke bowl. If you look in the picture you can hardly tell there is any protein. Compared to others in the area definitely disappointed in the burrito. Also, I ordered spicy mayo and cream cheese as my sauce but somehow there was a pool of a soy based sauce and def tasted like there was soy sauce in the entire dish. After a rough week at work, some people drink, but I am telling you that a sushi burrito from PokiTomik can cure all of your troubles. I have never been here before and asked the woman behind the counter what I should order. She made a few recommendations and then from the back room, I think I heard angels sing and a guy walked out and said "I'll take it from here." He asked me what I liked, but I said I would trust his judgment and for him to just make me something that would put a smile on my face and keep me coming back for more. He went with the soy paper (extra charge which he was kind enough to as it was ok) then we did the hot Cheetos (which I was very scared of but he said to trust him) and then we did tuna, albacore and everything else that could fit inside along with several sauces. I signed up for the loyalty program and bam, I was offered a free drink, ice cream or taco. What a nice surprise! I paid, got in my car, said a little prayer as I unwrapped it and some cheeto dust landed in my lap. Let's just say that the first bite was like July 4th in my mouth. It was explosive, fun, unforgettable and just made me pretty darn happy. I was going to go back to my office to finish it, but ended up eating the whole thing while driving. Was in the mood for something with an Asiatic flair and this place was close enough to work to grab on the way home. The service was exceptional! My order was timely, correct, and the staff was attentive to the needs of my waiting while they helped another customer. For a small business, this is a lot to appreciate, and the sushi burrito I got didn't upset me, although I did choose an odd pairing that I wont plan on getting again, but that's on me. As for covid news, I can tell the staff cares. They have a lovely separated area for pick up orders, a very small outdoor dining area (but I prefer to avoid as much contact as I have a compromise immune system), and the staff follows astutely the guidelines of masks and gloves and social distance.
