Literally the best poki restaurant. The one in Escondido location could never compete with this branch . The girlies working last night really know how to make a plate ! They're super friendly , super clean and make a really good poki bowl ! I'm obsessed. After the gym this hits so good.

A hair-raising experience... literally!!! First time. Last time. I was traumatized. Imagine this: you're settling in, excited for a fresh poke bowl, only to discover a clump of hair tangled in your food. Not a strand. Not a single rogue hair. A clump. I didn't sign up for a side of someone's DNA. To top it off, they got my order wrong. I ordered no tofu but I guess I'm glad they added it as I begin to pull them out and it made the clunk of hair easier to see. However, I consumed some of the food!! So not only was I disgusted, I was also still hungry and nauseated!! There's nothing appetizing about wondering which stranger's scalp was mixed in with your meal!!! If I could give negative zero stars, I would. Never again!! Feeling sick and disgusted

My most favorite place to get Poke. Always fresh. They make it the way that I like. Love the different sauces they have. Friendly guys and gals!!

All the employees are super nice! Great poke overall, never have had a bad experience with them! Love how they're always stocked and the atmosphere is excellent.

Poki Poki entrees are generously portioned where one entree can easily feed 2 people. Extra add ons are very minimal, which allows for customer to enjoy all their favorite fixings. The quality of ingredients of protein & vegetables are fresh.

‍ SURF, SAND, and now... POKI POKI! If you're in Oceanside and haven't tried Poke Poke, are you even living your best beach life? Let me break it down for you - it's like the ocean decided to do a culinary high-five with the mainland, and we're the lucky recipients of the resulting deliciousness. First of all, they're all about Hawaiian Poke, which is basically the superhero version of a bowl. Fresh ingredients team up in an epic battle for maximum flavor, and I'm here for it. Seriously, it's like the Avengers of food. And speaking of fresh, they don't mess around. Locally caught sushi-grade fish from the Pacific Ocean - straight into your bowl. It's like Nemo went on vacation and decided to become part of your lunch. Now, here's the thing - Poke Poke keeps it real. No fancy-schmancy stuff, just top-tier ingredients getting cozy together. You build your bowl like a boss, with California vibes in mind. Farm-fresh produce? Oh yeah, they've got that covered. Oh, and let's talk about Ana. She's like the foodie fairy godmother you never knew you needed. Ana was an absolute gem, super helpful with my order - making sure every ingredient danced together in perfect harmony. Seriously, if there were a Nobel Prize for Food Assistance, Ana would be our nominee. So, whether you're a wave-rider, a sandcastle builder, or just someone with an insatiable appetite for awesomeness, Poke Poke in Oceanside is where the party's at. Surf's up, flavor's in, and it's time to ride the taste wave. Cowabunga, foodies! P.S. If you're not humming the "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" song from Lilo & Stitch by the end of your meal, did you even Poke Poke?

Normally it's packed full wow now stingy with the toppings

So I keep trying new spots hoping one finally hits. I'd driven past Urban Teri Kitchen a bunch of times taking my kids to practices and games and finally decided to stop in. Didn't even check Yelp first. Just went in blind based on a good feeling about the place. Glad I did. I ordered the half-and-half with chicken teriyaki and katsu, and honestly it was one of the better teriyaki plates I've had anywhere around here. The chicken was flavorful, the katsu was crispy without being greasy, and everything tasted fresh. It's a little pricier than some teriyaki spots, but the quality backs it up. My wife and I could easily split one order next time. I came in around 4 PM, so it wasn't packed, but the people inside looked happy, the restaurant was clean, and the whole place just had a really good vibe. Sometimes you can tell within a minute whether a place cares about what they're doing, and this felt like one of those spots. There's a reason they've got 4.7 stars. If anything, I'd say that rating is deserved.

I would also say they gave you a lot of chicken for the plate that you get the downside that I would vote for is the kimchi was not great. Overall, I give this high ranks for the protein and the serving size and the variety of options that you can get the spam was pretty good, although they did throw in a brick of rice, which was a lot within the spam sandwich

I had my family in town and really hyped up their sushi as it was so fresh previously, I was so embarrassed when they brought out the dining equivalent to chicken nuggets. The prices are absolutely asinine, my family is already skeptical of CA prices and I was hoping to show them that sometimes they're worth it but instead this just reinforced the stereotype of paying $20 for prepackaged food. 2 stars because our waitress was super nice and gave us a free dessert. She was really apologetic as well. I hope they can turn it around, it's such a beautiful location, I'd hate to see it go to waste on such poor food.

It was a little hard to find the restaurant, especially since the sign is not right over the entrance, but just next to it where the small market is. Look for the Winchester Center sign next to the market. Since we arrived before it opened on a Sunday, we browsed in the market until it was tine to eat. We had a reservation for 6 of us, so they seated us at the one round table near the front. There is another longer table next to it on the left side where there's a colorful mural. The rest of the tables are booths. The restaurant is spacious and roomy and very clean. You can order items from the menu or build your own hot pot which is AYCE. Everyone in our party chose the hot pot. We were each brought a small blue pot that contained the sterno to heat up the soup and the broth of our choice inside. We also placed our meat order with our server. We went to the back-left corner to grab our veggies, and some other things to add to our hot pot. Our server came by often to take more meat orders, clear empty plates, and check if we needed more broth or if our sterno needed more fuel. Our server was delightfully cheerful and friendly. She was helpful and answered all of our questions, especially when we had to choose our broths. (Forgive me for forgetting your name!) I highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation if you have a larger party. Accessibility notes: most of the tables are padded booths. If you can transfer and slide, you should be okay. Otherwise, see if you can sit at a table that has chairs on the left side. The restaurant is spacious enough to park your mobility aid (or stroller for babies) near you. The restrooms are located in the back-left corner, 2 single stall restrooms, one for men and one for women. There is enough room for someone to enter with their mobility aid and a helper companion. You can enter the restaurant without climbing a step, but I don't recall where the handicap accessible parking was since we used a regular parking space and I climbed up the curb. No one from the family is local, but my brother-in-law chose this restaurant because it's somewhere where we can meet in the middle. We all loved it, and are adding it to our rotation when we need to come together for a celebration.

We started with the spicy pot, which came out bubbling hot and packed with ingredients. It had a nice kick without being overwhelming, and the flavors were rich and savory. It had a strong cumin flavor, which makes this dish pretty authentic. Get this dish with rice, the sauces goes well with it. The soup noodles with fried pork were super comforting. The broth was light but flavorful, and the fried pork added a really nice crispy texture that balanced well with the noodles. My nephew likes noodles but without alot of flavor so this dish was perfect for him. The fried dumplings were crispy on the bottom with juicy filling inside--exactly what you want. We also got the steamed chicken with chili oil, which was tender and coated in that classic fragrant, slightly spicy chili oil that adds so much flavor without being too heavy. The green onion pancake was another favorite--crispy, flaky, and airy. It tasted freshly made.
