Pretty good poke bowl but they charge you for every little thing that most poke bowl restaurants offer as part of their toppings. I ended up not getting everything I wanted in my bowl because of it and therefore it was just an okay bowl. There's some seating inside and a table outside. They're pretty quick with making your bowl. Overall, it was good but would've been much better with decent pricing.
This is the first time I've had a poki bowl where the fish exceeds the base! I got takeout from Poki Bowl recently and was astounded by their portions. Poki bowl is from San Jose and the decor and vibes definitely matched that. There were cute signs and claw machines in the corner. Service was friendly, though the person serving us accidentally added mango when we asked for masago. Thankfully we were planning to get mango anyways, and he was apologetic about the mix up. I got a bowl with two scoops of protein but got what seems like closer to 4. They also packed a large amount of greens in to my half greens half brown rice bowl, and it was the nice, fancier lettuce too. There was barely room for other toppings once the fish with mix-ins were added to my bowl. Crab salad, avo, and seaweed salad cost extra, but I was surprised to see that edamame was extra as well while masago was included. Regardless I got almost all the toppings and had a massive bowl. The fish and toppings were good and the lettuce was crisp, but I think the shortcoming here was the sauce. The default amount of sauce for mixing was way too large and included far too much sesame oil. It unfortunately overpowered my bowl a little and made it a bit too greasy. If I come back I will definitely ask for less sauce mixed in with my fish, and perhaps more sauce drizzled on top. Overall a great quick place to grab a healthy meal when shopping in this area. Just be sure to ask for less sauce, or at least less sesame oil!
The vibes were nice and service was good. But the food was so bad. I have never been here, was waiting around the area for my dog grooming appointment to be done. The brown rice was so hard and clumpy. The salmon had extremely fishy taste and was chewy. The tuna was all right. The edamame was so hard. I don't know how that even happens. I spent about $23 on one bowl. Save yourself money and time.
I stopped in with my kid who likes Asian food but never really had poke. We walked in and were tended to quickly. We ordered the kids poke but it was a good size. She got the salmon and some good toppings. She really enjoyed it and is now a poke lover! We will be back
I came here today first time. I got a regular bowl. With chicken, tofu and salmon for protein. For rice got brown rice eel sauce on the side. Mango, corn, some crunky onions and sesame it was very good. Here's a picture. I enjoyed my bowl.
I've come to poki bowl a few times, and I've enjoyed my meals. Their pricing is pretty steep compared to other poke places in the area, the toppings are lacking and they charge extra for avocado, seaweed salad, etc. However, their fish is very fresh and the ingredients all taste great. I always have a good experience with the staff here as well and the restaurant is very well kept and clean. Although this spot is not my go to, I usually will come here if i'm in the area
This place is so underrated but totally worth the visit. The fish is fresh, the sauces delicious, and the staff very attentive. One of the healthy alternatives in the Kendall area. You can order takeout or enjoy the food there.
Im not a hype about poke bowls but I saw bubble tea and that was a green light for me to go! After holding my cravings for bubble tea near the area I was in and I found this on located in Kendall - Town and Country shops! They don't have small cups they only serve medium and large. I ordered a fruit bubble tea of a combination of strawberry, and passion fruit and it comes with typical tapioca balls. The service is was quick and fast to order and grab a seat. The restaurant was empty went i went but I'm sure they have a lot of orders via the mobile apps because they seemed busy after I got my tea. I will definitely go back for more tea :)
The staff here I owe a big thank you to. I was hungry and it was probably like 10 mins before they closed but I was in such a mood for something delicious and yet nutritious. I walked in and I was expecting the look of "really wtf" but they were all real nice and took my order in no rush. They have a base to start with if brown or sushi rice or greens. I skipped the brace completely and went straight to the protein. There are a lot of options to choose from. You also have a choice of 3 or 4 proteins for each bowl and of course more can be added at an additional price. I went with tuna, salmon, and octopus. They had shrimp, hamachi, chicken, tofu, and ceviche fish as the proteins. Toppings to add were corn, onions, cucumber, crispy oinons, wasabi, ginger, mango eggs etc. I went with what I was craving and added avocado, seaweed salad, edamame, cucumber the onions, sesame seed oil and spicy sauce. You have other choices of miso, poki, eel, and other sauces. My meal was made just how I like it and packed with flavor and I want to go back and see what other creations I can come up with. If you love poki like I do, this place really hits the spot!
Poki Bowl is located along the outer band of Town and Country's strip mall, away from the trendier lake location. This means you can come dressed however you'd like and grab something to go quickly and easily. If you prefer to eat in the restaurant, rest assured that it's clean, has a fresh feeling because of all the cool colors in the decor, and has high tops, regular tables, and a few outdoor seats. One drawback was the price. While the bowls are priced similarly to some other Miami poke locations, I'd expect either lower prices or more generous portions of protein in this part of town. There was a nice variety of toppings and the person helping us assembled our bowls nicely. They also have a variety of sauces, going beyond just the mayonnaise based sauces to include things like miso dressing and eel sauce. For beverages, they have fountain sodas, canned and bottle soft drinks and alcohol, and a couple beers on tap. If you haven't eaten poke, this is a good place to come familiarize yourself with it. There is clear signage explaining how to order and listing what proteins, sauces, and toppings they have. They're friendly about answering questions as well. I'm sure I'll return for the convenience, cleanliness, and decent bowls, but for the area this is a fast casual restaurant that is on the pricier side.
I am glad for a bubble tea place right in T&C mall. It's next to 24 Hour Fitness. They have about 10 flavors in black or green tea. I tried the green tea and it has a nice tea flavor and the bubbles are done right, chewy and not too hard or too mushy. Got it for lunch so I hope the quality stays high throughout the day. They offer 4 types of base (white rice, brown rice, greens and chips) and 3 scoops of fish (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, spicy tuna, octopus) with the regular bowl, and you and mix your options, which is great. However the toppings are rather limited, and some like seaweed salad and edamame cost extra. Also, the presentation of the bowl could be better. Using an ice cream scoop for the cubed avocado is not the best idea. The holes on the shaker for the furikake is too small and hardly any of it landed on my bowl despite some vigorous shaking. The girl topped my bowl with a mountain of ginger slices. I counted like 30 pieces afterwards, many the width and length of two fingers... That's more ginger than what comes in one ginger shot to kill a cold, lol. The staff definitely can use more training. With a small menu and items that can easily be sampled (we are not talking wagyu steak or whole lobster here) the management should be able to get the staff familiar with all items. A generous-ish 4 for now as I definitely find many better poke options out there, but hopefully things improve when the learning curve is over.
I stopped here for an early lunch yesterday. This is a chipotle-style poke bowl place. You choose your rice foundation, your proteins, toppings etc. I ordered the "small bowl" and got spicy salmon, ahí tuna, and tofu on top of sushi rice. For toppings I had crab meat, green and white onions, dried seaweed, sesame seeds, and miso sauce. The food was so good. It hit the spot perfectly. The salmon was fairly spicy (I have a high spice tolerance). The portion was also huge. I should have really only had half lol. It was pretty pricey, but again for the portion it makes sense. I had the bowl and a bottled water, and I tipped 15% and it was $27 plus change. I was the first one there as I walked in right when they opened. The person working was friendly, and someone even took my tray for me when I was done even though there's a place for you to throw away your trash and place your trays. The ambiance was simple but nice. There were some toy machines as decor, and a nice blue color scheme. It was very clean inside. I will definitely be back! read more
My wife was raving about this place the other day and we decided to go for dinner. Poki Bowl is a build your own bowl where they give you options between raw salmon, white fish or shrimp. I choose brown rice as my base and topped it with salmon and shrimp mixed veggies, edamame, crispy onions and their special sauce. The special sauce here is influenced by Peruvian flavors. The bowl was really good and fresh, but my only complaint is how pricey it was. read more

Located in the Palms Shopping center in Kendall, this small restaurant was a good idea for a Pick Up dinner because... Their food was so fresh! I had the spicy tuna and I ate it for dinner and the next day for lunch! I creted mine with brown rice, mild sauce, avocado, cilantro sauce, and fried onions!!! The staff was very attentive. They follow Covid guidelines. They have seating area inside and outside. You can get discounts if you order online. read more

The 3rd and last time I am ordering from Poke Bowl Kendall. The first time it was great! After that it lack protein, tooo much rice and the veggies are socky. Don't go here or, order from here read more
What's not to love at Poki Bowl?! I've tried everything on the menu and I can tell you it's all delicious. Bowls, drinks, desserts? They've got it all. My personal favorite is the ceviche bowl because who doesn't love ceviche? Their poke bowls with a great variety of topping choices are delicious as well. They even have chicken which my husband loves to get. Their Peruvian items are just too good to pass up. The causas are a favorite at our home coming in different varieties, too. Desserts?! Let's talk about macaroon ice cream sandwiches. Brownies? They've got plenty. Banana bread and alfajores too! Plus there's boba tea which is always refreshing. read more

If you are in the Kendall area seeking fresh Poki Bowls this is a great option. They offer two bowl sizes with your choice of grains or salad. A hefty amount of sea food with more plenty of options of different fish. The toppings look super fresh and well thought of. The staff will offer a variety of sauces and spice options. Accompany your bowl with a favorite boba tea. Cheers read more

Came here for a quick dinner after the gym: The service from the guy and girl there was excellent. The girl really needs her stuff and made us (first timers) understand how it all worked fairly easily. Pick a size bowl then add protein and toppings and sauces. The sauces are on top , no fish or crab meat is seasoned. I'm used to have a crab salad with some type of Mayo or something. This was all added on which made it nice to have an option but also a bit dry. The spicy Mayo was sooo spicy. It felt like eating a lot of hot sauce. Not a fan of that much spice in my crab salad, would recommend ordering it on the side for those non spicy lovers. The fish was fresh and a bit large in the size of chunks, some of the tuna bites felt too big and uncomfortably chewy for my preference. The rice was nice the topping were good too! My slight complain was that the edamame was addition charge and the avocado too which would be ok but the avocado was like a tablespoon literally a tablespoon for almost $2-3 usually if I'm paying for avocado I'm expecting at-least half to whole avo. Seemed expensive for the amount I got. Overall the service was great the food was decent and the portions were good. Biggest let down was the boba tea, I ordered passion fruit...it was dirty water with little to no flavor and tooo much boba. I let my sister try it and she asked me "what flavor is this , doesn't taste like anything". She was 100% right. Lots of better options as far as boba, I'd skip that. read more

I stopped by Poki Bowl yesterday afternoon and am now obsessed! I had a regular size bowl with half sushi rice, half mixed greens, salmon, ahi tuna, spicy tuna, and spicy sauce ! They have a lot of options to choose from and the portions are great. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. They even have a fun beer and wine selection. I'll be back soon, I forgot to take a photo of my beautiful bowl because I was too busy stuffing my face. read more

If you love sushi, this is the perfect place for you! The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. The bowls are very filling and come with 3 proteins of your choice. I chose the ahi tuna, shrimp and ceviche. The fish always tastes fresh and flavorful. You can choose toppings such as avocado, masago, crispy onions or edamame. The eel and sriracha sauce pair well together. I wish the presentation could have been a little better but the taste is what matters the most and it was delectable. Don't forget the boba! The mango and taro are my favorites! I can't wait to go back! read more

Had a huge craving for poke and had been wanting to check this place out. Restaurant was nice and bright since it has large windows. There are table options inside and outside. Bowls were generous and there were lots of options to choose from. The staff was kind enough to offer a sample when I was unsure about the crab salad. I have to say, ingredients were fresh and tasty. Food used to be awesome from here. Lately it has been horrible. Ordered it today for me and the family and the rice was not cooked. Called in to speak to manager and no manager available when I voiced my concern Michelle the young lady on the phone laughed and said rice can't be raw. They check it before the batch goes out. So either it's old rice or they don't know the basics on making rice. This is the second time this happens and the first time I didn't even get a call back from the manager. I do not recommend this place. Only reason for 1 star is because I can't give a lower rating. Let's see if management calls me back read more

update & upgrade from my other 4 star review. so i found out that the overbearing saltiness of rice i experienced last time was from the spicy "sauce" they add onto the fish & herbs that seeped through the rice. don't get me wrong it's STILL VERY salty. but i believe, just like starbucks, you can ask them to put less pumps of the ponzu+sesame seed mixture; as they put 2 pumps of ponzu mix + 1 pump for mild 2 pumps for medium 3 pumps for spicy. maybe 1 pump of ponzu or no ponzu at all & just do the straight 3 pumps of spicy if you like that kick. (haven't tried this yet, but i will try the latter if & when i do come next time) since the scallions are not cooked, you will also be getting a strong flavor from it too. this could be a good or bad addition depending on the person. read more
