The fried rice was rancid and smelled awful

Miami-I definitely should not have eaten here. I looked at the reviews and they were top-notch. Unfortunately, I did not look at my Life Kitchen app (until partially eating my order) to check their cleanliness score from the health department. I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice and macaroni salad plate. The orange chicken was OK, the macaroni salad was overly sweet, and the fried rice smelled and tasted very off. I decided to look at my LK app to check their health department score. It was a D!!!! I normally do not eat at places that score a B or lower, because I have gotten sick at places. I immediately took my food and when I got back to the hotel, I tossed it in the garbage. Thankfully, I did not eat very much of it. NEVER AGAIN.

I've been here a few times now and it's been delicious every single time! Just had their Hawaiian Katsu Chicken Island dish and it was perfectly crispy and yummy! It's enough for 2 people in my opinion, but I don't eat too much on my end. Their boba is very well priced, doesn't have too much ice and tastes great. I love the fruit teas and tried their Thai tea today and loved it! I haven't tried their soups yet, but that's on the list. The service is always great. They are very nice and helpful. It's a small corner space in this large shopping center but it feels comfortable. I have eaten inside and taken to go and the food has always been great. I highly recommend giving this spot a chance :)

Excellent fast service. Great location close to my job. I tried the Amber Boba, Shrimp Shumai, Crab Rangoon, Hawaii BBQ Shrimp comes with rice I got plain fried rice & macaroni salad & cabbage. A lot of food for a great price. When you order to go they give you the food in a cute reusable bag. Definitely returning soon.

All right first things first after living in Hawaii for six years I fell in love with the food out there so you could imagine my surprise driving on Flagler and seeing modern Hawaiian kitchen? Unfortunately, I was too early and they were closed, but Providence would have it that Uber would send me right back over here eventually in the evening. I decided to go with the signature Hawaiian plate that was two scoops of rice, macaroni salad, barbecue beef, barbecue chicken and short ribs Not gonna lie the food brought me back. It was really really good. The short ribs had the right amount of fat with them so they gave them that proper chewy texture. The rice was phenomenal. A little restaurant in a strip mall has no right to make rice that good, but they did! Now the portion side was humongous. I have leftovers that I'm taking home warm that bad boy up in the morning and have myself a good breakfast. They got a killer deal, order more than $15 worth of food and you get one free Boba tea on myself. I'm enjoying the taro Boba tea. And for all you need freaks out there the place was immaculate. My only complaint my own gripe is that they did not have the quintessential Hawaiian food. I am talking about those spam musubi's baby! But after giving the proprietors the sad eyes and telling them this is what they need. This is their final touch on their menu. Let's see if they took my advice. I will come back again because the food was damn good and I'm looking forward to trying more.

Build your own Poke Bowl and the Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl paired with the French Fries and Peach and Passion fruit smoothies.

The food here was delicious!! And for two people drinks and a shared appetizer plus full poke bowls it came out to only $50 which is completely unheard of in Miami. They had great variety and the service was excellent. I think this is a family owned restaurant because a little girl served us our smoothies and she was so precious! Literally made our nightLove the family vibe. 10/10 from me and my girlfriend!:)

I'm a girl who likes her spices but the recommendation he gave was very tolerable and most certainly enjoyable. In terms of ambiance , it wasn't crowded which I love! Also they played Rnb which made this spot 10/10. Truly a gem and certainly will be revisiting.

Rating: 5.0 Been a…read morehuge fan of the Iron Chef show since I was a kid and my favorite has aways been the Japanese Chef Masaharu Morimoto! And since experiencing his Disney Springs restaurant Morimoto Asia, I had been looking forward for him to come to Miami. This was a couple of years back during the cooler season in Miami. RESTAURANT: I just know that this location is going to be beautiful. Chef Morimoto restaurants are worldwide and so I was not disappointed to see how beautiful this restaurant was and how perfectly complemented the vibe of the Wynwood scene. The restaurant doors open to the street, which was perfect during our winter visit. Inside is an open floor plan with a variety of seating options from the izakaya style table, banquet dining against the wall, to the huge bar. There are even covered seating outside that reminded me of New York. Decor is both minimal but with burst of colors with his signature wall art and backlit panels against the wall. And ofcourse, it won't be an authentic Japanese restaurant without the a display of hyper-realistic food models which can be found as soon as you enter the restaurant to entice your taste buds. Everything just looked sleaked and clean and love the pop of green from the huge fig trees. SERVICE: Service was amazing. From the moment we entered, we were greeted and seated right away for our reservation. Our server answered all of our questions and suggested some fruity cocktails. And lo and behold, owner Chef Morimoto himself presented us with our food and torched it right infront of us! He was so polite and humble and wonderful. We watched him moved from one side of the restaurant to the other with the endurance of a guy in his 20s and he's like 60 something! He did not stop. It was such a treat to have him in our table and how he indulged us when we chanted "Iron Chef! Iron Chef!". It was an amazing experience. FOOD: The menu have the right amount of options, from finger food to ramen, sushi and not to mention the drinks. For starters, pork belly and soft shell crab bao and bbq ribs. Deliciousness! The buns warm and pillowy. The pork, so tender. But that soft shell crab...that made me want to slap someone it was so good. Flavorful, no fishiness whatsoever, crunch on the outside and just happiness on the inside. I will eat a million of these. Then my friend ordered some Yakitori fresh from the grill: chicken, pork belly, shrimp, wagyu. They were simple, fresh and so fingerlicking good. Then the ramen; tonkotsu and gyukotsu. On this cold evening, it was exactly what we needed. These two huge bowls we passed around our table of six. The broth were divine! The pork belly was so delicate that it melts in your mouth. The beef falling off the bones were so tender and delicious. Sushi rolls: spider roll and the surf and turf. The spider roll with that soft shell crab was bomb. But the that A5 wagyu surf and turf was the star of the show. It comes out as raw slices on a roll and Chef Morimoto came out and torched it himself next to our table! I don't know if it tasted spectacular because it's wagyu or because the chef himself had torched it but this was my favorite! Overall, this was the most memorable dining experience I've had in a long time. I am sure that fangirling over the Iron Chef was the main reason but it seems that everything just fell into place for us that evening. Parking was literally next door in the garage, super easy no drama. Service was next level, maybe because the boss was there but we were not going to complain. And the food, impeccable! Pricepoint is just reasonable considering the quality, quantity and the location. It is definitely worth the trip coming here and I can't wait to visit again soon to see if everything will be the same without the Chef Morimoto around. I have a feeling it will be just as wonderful.

I'll start with a positive: I actually really liked the anime-themed decor. It's unique, fun, and definitely adds personality to the space. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The customer service wasn't great. It felt inattentive and unwelcoming, which immediately set the tone for the meal. We ordered two servings of crab rangoon, and I was honestly shocked at both the price and the quality. To put it simply it was the worst crab rangoon I've ever had. They tasted like they were deep-fried in old oil, with that heavy, stale aftertaste. They didn't seem fresh at all more like something pulled from a freezer and quickly dropped into the fryer. When I opened them up, there was barely any filling besides cream cheese. I couldn't find any actual crab inside, which was really disappointing, especially considering how much they charged for them. I was genuinely sad about how much money we spent on those two orders, only to be completely let down. I love supporting unique, themed spots and the anime vibe really had potential but unfortunately, the food quality and service just didn't meet expectations. I hope they improve because the concept itself is cute.
