We were visiting Miami & I really wanted sushi so we got it delivered to the hotel. Since this place had raving reviews, I thought it would be a great place to order from. I'm not sure if it was an off day or something but the fish didn't taste fresh & the rice was wayyy too mushy so that threw everything off for me. I ended up just picking out the fish in each of the rolls but they sadly didn't taste like anything. If I were to visit Miami again, I'm not sure if this would be a place that I'd want to go to again. If I did, I'd probably try something different like the poke instead.

Food is good and has always been fresh when I go there for lunch. They are friendly and the restaurant is cute.

If you're looking for a healthy yet tasty option this is the spot for you. Poke OG has amazing options for different signature poke bowls as well as vegan bowls that are all delicious and full of flavor. My favorite is the hybrid bowl. It includes both tuna and salmon and has some yummy toppings, such as crispy onions and edamame. I usually seaweed salad for some extra flavor. The spicy OG sauce that it includes is my favorite! Highly recommend this Poke OG! P.s: their sushi options are also... *chefs kiss*!

Since my last review, I ordered a few more times. All consistently great quality. It's a small detail, but their packaging is superb and appreciated. I am super thankful they are delicious downtown sushi OPEN LATE. Poke OG has come through with a few quality late night meals when otherwise is would have been straight outta luck. Keep up the great work. I hope they stay forever and keep reasonable prices with high end fish quality open late. Also tried their vegan roll tonight, it was nicely crafted. I'd probably lean towards a fish roll in the future, and yet I still think this is a great option for pure veggie or vegans. The succulent bite roll tonight was a little different than I expected. More on a rainbow roll side. I was expecting a bit more from the honey truffle that sounded amazing. Maybe it was my fault for letting soy sauce conflict with the pairing... normally I don't. I'll still be back. I've yet to try a poke from here ironically.

Had to get my PokeOG fix in again (5 days later, don't judge me) Because I ordered from DoorDash I couldn't check out the spot in person to get a feel for their ambiance or service. Went with the Salmon OG poke bowl with the fire sauce - 5 stars, rice was so soft, bowl was flavorful, toppings were plentiful. The fire sauce was like a sriracha sweet chili sauce with sesame oil - tasty for sure but could have packed a bit more heat IMO. This time went with a large (5 scoops vs. 3 scoops) and added their Kani (crab). Probably could have gotten by with the Reg size but splitting it between two people so decided to see what a large would give us. The large didn't seem like that much more food for the additional $$$. Ordered two rolls this time - these were mediocre, did the job. One roll was the succulent bite roll and the other was shrimp tempura roll. Succulent bite roll was similar to your regular rainbow roll. Shrimp tempura roll lacked flavor and you could tell shrimp had been sitting out for some time before being used - granted my order was a DoorDash it still seemed like the tempura shrunk could have used some TLC.

POKE OG is the real deal and has gotten me through quarantine times. Their poke bowls and poke platters are amazing. As delicious as they are beautiful. But what I really want to write this love letter to is their sushi boxes. Oh how I love thee. For $20 you can get an omakase lite box that is DIVINE! It brings sashimi, sushi and nigiri with amazing sauces that you can literally paint onto your sushi. For $10 more, you can add Ikura aka salmon roll and it is such a good move. I always find POKE to be fresh, and an amazing compromise for folks who may not always be in the mood for sushi but are down for poke. If you want to please a crowd, you can order a poke platter - it comes with a variety of diff pokes and rice and fixings to make your own poke dream into a reality. Five stars for Poke OG - convenient, fresh af and also great value for portion size!

Super fresh, great signature bowls. Definitely worth the money and the stop. Location is downtown, so parking seemed a little dicey if you're driving a car.

Been here about three times and both the food and service have been excellent. Last couple of times I opted for the big island OG and today I chose the Rainbow OG so that I could have both tuna and salmon. As for all the bowls, the ingredients are always fresh especially the protein, veggies and add ons. The sauces are what make the bowls really stand out. The prices are adequate considering the area and the portions are just right. Only issue around here is finding a parking space especially on the weekends. Place isn't too big but it was a slow day so I'd assume busy days you're better off taking out. Oh and one more thing, the prep station was very organized and clean and that's a bonus for me.

Had a great lunch at Poke OG. It was super easy and quick to order. There wasn't a lunch so I was able to pop in and out quickly. This box was $29 with tip and tax.

I first discovered Poke OG at their stand at 1800 Lucky in Wynwood. Solid poke bowls made to order with fresh ingredients. Just wish they had a bit more selection of ingredients to choose from. Safe to say they got it down packed and they know what they are doing given they have this downtown location in addition to the original in Wynwood as well as a new one in Fort Lauderdale. Go for the Hawaiian OG and Fire Sauce combination, never disappoints!

Been awhile that iv gotten good I liked. I picked up a shrimp tempura roll. It was great! The roll was fresh, big, and warm which I love. Very cute and efficient packaging too. Only critique is on Ubereats they charge $.50 for soy sauce which I think is weird. I had some at home so wasn't a deal breaker. I do like my wasabi and was willing to pay for extra but they just gave it to me. Price on point too. This is my now go to sushi spot.

Great sushi rolls, service for pick up is fine, it's not an exciting place to eat to be honest.

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am writing to formally complain about an unacceptable experience I had today with Mana Poke regarding a lunch order I placed today for myself and two co-workers. I initially ordered three bowls online: two with salmon and one with chicken. A few minutes after placing the order on line, I received a call from Teresa advising they did not have any chicken. I therefore canceled that bowl and proceeded with the remaining two salmon bowls. Despite this adjustment being made promptly, my order arrived one hour late, which is completely unreasonable for a lunch order--especially when multiple people are involved and relying on timely service. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. Upon receiving the order, both bowls were prepared incorrectly, containing the wrong ingredients in each bowl and missing items that were clearly specified in the order. At that point, the quality and accuracy of the service had failed entirely. I contacted the restaurant and spoke with a staff member named Teresa to address these issues. Her response was deeply disappointing. She repeatedly said "OK" in a dismissive manner, showed no concern or accountability, and made no effort to offer an apology, explanation, or any form of reconciliation. Her lack of professionalism and apparent indifference only compounded an already frustrating experience. Between the ingredient shortage, excessive delay, incorrect food preparation, and poor customer service, this experience fell far below any reasonable standard of service. I chose Mana Poke expecting reliability and quality and instead received the opposite. I am requesting that this matter be addressed promptly and that appropriate compensation be provided for the inconvenience and poor service experienced. I also strongly encourage management to review customer service expectations with staff, as this interaction was unacceptable. Given the issues outlined above, I will not be placing future orders with Mana Poke and believe prospective customers should exercise caution when ordering from Mana Poke.

The spot is on the side of 8th street, next to the Subway and CVS side. It's kind of hidden and the inside was very "chill" (wasn't busy at all the time I went, around 5PM or so) for a lack of a better word. Anyway, my order was ready quickly in about 10-15 minutes, so I walked from nearby to pick my order up. Picking it up was easy, they just asked for my name. I inspected my order before heading back. My order felt super light and not to my surprise, it was such a small bowl. Granted, I didn't try their signature bowls, I built my own. Regardless, it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. Compared to my regular spot, I would definitely make the drive to go there (Coral Gables) instead. When she finally did, she basically asked us what kind of water we want and said she would be back but I made her take our drink orders as well as we had already been waiting for a decent amount of time. After we got our drinks, she took our food order. When the food came out, it was a little messed up. 2/3 of the people at our table ordered nigiri but they brought it all out on one plate, which wasn't an issue but we didn't know what was what. When we tried asking the man who brought the food out to us what was what, he must have misunderstood and he just took the food back. He then returned and had plated all the nigiri on their own separate plate. We didn't ask for this, we only were asking what was what. As for the food, I got the crispy hamachi and the tuna nigiri and salmon nigiri. The tuna nigiri had a super weird ketchup-like sauce on it which was kind of nasty, however, the salmon nigiri was super delicious and buttery. The crispy hamachi was also super delicious. I also enjoyed my drink which was the La chula. I don't think my 9 pieces of sushi and 1 drink was worth $80 but that's Miami for you. My friend also got the bang bang shrimp tempura pieces and we didn't realize it came with blue cheese crumbles on it so that was pretty nasty and inedible. All in all, this place was not the vibe. Service wasn't that great, it was kinda dirty, and food was overpriced for not being that great. Will not be back.

We ordered the sashimi assortment, white fish tasting, seared salmon, bluefin tuna tasting, unagi foie gras, and a few handrolls including blue crab and negi toro. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, especially the bluefin and unagi foie gras. Portions are on the lighter side though, so we left satisfied but not totally full. Cedrick was awesome and really made the experience better. He knew the menu inside and out and explained everything perfectly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Wynwood and want quality sushi without the overly trendy vibe.
