Huli Huli Chicken Plate

Very good and better than chipotle. The food service is nice and the food take so good

Two protein poke bowl
Andrea H.

Great ambiance and excellent staff. They had a fun tea drink selection. Got the two protein poke bowl that I custom ordered to include salmon, tuna, half brown rice and half kale noodles with all the toppings minus a few. Got the ponzu sauce which is traditionally soy sauce mixed with dashi broth and yuzu/citrus. Their ponzu sauce however did not taste like that at all. While all the ingredients taste fresh and good quality, one star docked for the sauce as it made everything taste salty but with no flavor.

Try the Dessert!

We tried the spicy Ahi Tuna wrap with extra seaweed salad and the Yuzu Ponzu Salmon bowl. For Dessert: Coco Mango Haupia (sweet and smooth coconut pudding topped with a fresh mango puree) I got the sweet gochujang sauce on the side and it added all the heat I wanted without taking away from the awesome taste of the Salmon. This review is just on the food since we got take- away.

I was driving to get my Starbucks and saw the sign saying now open! My spicy tuna poke was sooo good! I also made mine extra spicy by adding more peppers AND the pickled ginger was the icing on the cake!

Poke Bowl - Large (3 Proteins)

This place came up on my 'new and hot' list of restaurants in the area when I was looking for some good eats, so I figured I'd give it a try (and I am so glad that I did). What I got; Poke Bowl - Large (3 Proteins) $18.00 I love a good Poke Bowl, as they are highly customizable, (the main ingredients are vegetables and fish -- two generally nutritious foods). Some of the most common vegetables used in Poke are avocado, garlic, onion, and carrots, which are full of vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants, all of which support your overall health. In my bowl, I added tuna, salmon and shrimp because, why not? The amount of meat for this dish was impressive and filling. I requested the meat be a little cooked/torched to give it a little some in' some in'. I also added: Cucumber, Sweet Onion, Cilantro, Serrano Peppers, Spicy Serrano Aioli, Avocado, Green Onion, Pickled Ginger, Wasabi, and Thai Chili. The addition of the spices totally kicked this bowl into overdrive adding to the meat and greens of this menu item. Overall, this bowl was fresh, filling and is something that I would order again.

First time trying this place. It's well lit, and set up cafeteria style. You tell them what you want, and they put your bowl together. The proteins were super fresh, and I loved all of the combo options. They make their own beverages in house. The cherry limeade was delicious- just the right amount of sweet and tart. The strawberry lemonade was super sweet; I was not a fan. They were out of black tea, and my friend said their green tea was just okay. I definitely plan to go again and take my sushi-loving son with me.

Was excited to try a new poke place and will say food was good for first few bites but was very off put by finding a staple in my bowl.

It's always a pleasure for Mrs. Bagg and I to visit this delightful establishment. We've become quite fond of its refreshing culinary offerings and refreshing drinks, particularly on those hot days. The ambiance is charming, complemented by a congenial staff team, making it an ideal venue for a relaxed lunch, paired beautifully with engaging conversations and good company. As for the gorgeous Mrs. Bagg, she loves the Spicy Tuna served over a bed of rice decorated with great toppings. As for my personal preference, I go for the Chili Lime Chicken.. any way you build it, it is sure to taste great!

To start this off- I have been in Georgetown for less than a year. & I can confidently say I have been to PokeWorks north of 30 times. (It's close to the gym) There is not a word that carries enough praise to represent this staff. Everyone is so friendly, professional, and patient. The store is always incredibly clean, which directly reflects the most important part, the food. Like others, sushi is one of my favorite foods, but it's not in my wallets best interest. When I describe it to people it's "imagine 3 sushi rolls smashed into a bowl for the price of 1". Healthy, quick, affordable, DANK. What more could I ask for ? Word around town is the poke bowl quite possibly saved my life. I LOVE POKEWORKS. 200 stars.

Food was good and fresh, service with a smile. The only thing i wish they had on their menu is a wasabi mayo sauce and maybe some crab.

I went in today for my 1st time after reading about their mission and I was not expecting the level of serene and friendly service I received. I didn't even allow myself to shop the full boutique (I'll be back soon, indeed!) nor did I go into the new building across the drive with home goods, women's clothing & more. It's a gorgeous little place and I was greeted by the sweetest woman named Karen who showed me around and helped me find what I was looking for. You'll have to stop by the cafe too! I don't know what they do to make the mocha I ordered but it came in parts, my oat milk in a cute little pitcher and the chocolate espresso in my mug. It was SO GOOD before I even put the oat milk in!! Oh! And the guys in front of me ordered breakfast burritos and they seemed so excited to be able to return for them that I had to follow suit. WORTH IT. Yum! Check out my photo! I got bacon but there's a whol menu of things and if the quality is anything like those huge burritos, then you'll be in heaven! Whether you stop in for a quick coffee or find a gift for someone special, or let's be honest, even for yourself (#selfcare) , this is the place to spend your $! Even though we arrived early to surprise the Birthday girl, our table was ready, and our server brought water as we awaited the guest of honor. Service throughout our visit was excellent. Goodfolks has an extended brunch menu and some interesting cocktails to get your motor running on a Sunday Funday. Bloodies and French 75s were table favorites. Check out their online menu for a complete list of their craft cocktails and local beer offerings. Highlights were the basic classic breakfast: applewood smoked bacon, 2 Vital Farms eggs, potato hash, and Texas toast. Three of us ordered our eggs served differently, and they all arrived perfecto. Another highlight was the chicken and biscuits. This serving is huge and was a struggle for most to finish. The chicken breast arrived crispy, lightly battered as advertised. The maple sage gravy and syrup honey butter provide a sweet taste to the dish. Two of us struggled to remember what business occupied this location before Goodfolks. Thank you, Elise, for your 2022 review, which reminded us that the Burger University was the previous tenant. I would recommend reservations, as they did get pretty busy. Upon entering the restaurant, it is very comfortable and feels like a nice place to be. Upon looking at their signage, they have live music! I will definitely be back for that. Upon looking at the menu, they have many yummy dishes to choose from. However, I have extreme food restrictions, and I did not see anything that I could eat because I am dairy free, processed sugar-free and gluten-free. I shared this information with my server (i'm pretty sure her name was Haley). She said, "let me go talk to the chef," and off she went! :) She came back and recommended "caprice chicken over veggies" which they would customize to my dietary restrictions. Wow, that was over and above and so comforting! She said that the caprice chicken over veggies dish came with a salad and she checked -and all of the salad dressing had sugar in it, so I told her to bring it to me plain with a little bit of vinegar on the side and she came back with a salad with dressing on it and she said that they found some apple cider vinegar they put on top and would that be OK... OK? It was perfect! I loved that she listened to me and she knew that was within my diet restrictions! Haley is a fabulous server. I told Haley that she was so good that I'm going to ask for her to be my server every time. I feel so blessed to find someplace that I can eat comfortably and be so satisfied! Did I mention they have Italian wine!?! Oh so good! My lunch was amazingly good, can't wait to get it again, the wine was really good The atmosphere was so pleasant and everyone there seem to be having a good time The service was exceptional! I highly recommend you visit!
