On the way to REI with the fam but need to make a detour due to tummy-is-asking-for-food-now mode. Yelp app to the rescue as usual and I found this PokePro near the vicinity. The place is small but can still seat maybe around 15 people. We were greeted by a friendly staff who took our order of noodles, fried wings, boba teas, and many more. All of the food taste good and priced right. All of us in the group love the chicken wings. My daughter love the bobas while my son like the crunchiness of the fried dishes. We got here past lunch time but people still dropped by to order their food to go. We have a chance to talk to the friendly staff who is also from Asia and it was a good chat anything from a little bit of politics, exodus from the city and of course the food. I recommend this place and please do try to sit down when you have time instead of ordering to go. Thanks!

Salad with tuna and spicy salmon

The server was nice, the place was clean, and the fish was fresh. A decent portion and a good amount of dressing on my salad. That's my biggest fear, leaving and having enough dressing for my salad. However, seaweed salad and crabmeat would cost extra when most places I go to don't charge for those items. So I opted to cheap out and make my salad less enjoyable.

Very cute hole in the wall poke place. It is located in a large shopping plaza with a Shop Rite and pet store in my opinion not a place to find poke but it works. Plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is very clean and the ingredients are all very fresh. My coworker and myself tried different bowls by adding on our ingredients with the make your own bowl choice. We both had tuna and salmon which was very fresh and all of the toppings left you with almost to many choices. They make soups but didn't try yet as well as milk teas. The only type of milk used is whole milk so I was Unable to try it. Wings were very good too crispy and a nice crunch. Sauce is extra for dipping. We will be back

This was a first for me and to my surprise it wasn't even close to what I was expecting. I assumed since I love pokemoto it would be more than delicious, but my tuna /salmon had no taste at all , the salmon left a weird taste in my mouth. To each their own but I'm not a fan .

Scallion pancake

The folks at PokePro are so friendly and sweet! The food was absolutely wonderful and warmed me up on this cold evening. I got the cilantro lime chicken ramen which had suuuuper tender and generous chicken portion. The scallion pancake was also very flaky and came with a delicious sauce. Cannot recommend them enough, will be coming back again!

Instead of our usual fast-food lunch on a long road trip, we opted for a healthier option. Unlike most poke places, this offers ramen and wings and boba as well. Although pictures look good for the other stuff, we stuck with the namesake. Got 4 speciality bowls - salmon, hawaii tuna, teriyaki steak and teriyaki chicken. Also grabbed a side of shrimp shumai for the toddler. It was easy to place an order online, and pickup was ready in less than 15min. We were planning to grab-and-go, but the staff was so friendly and the place looked so welcoming that we decided to eat there (and use their very clean restrooms). I can't speak on everyone else's meals, but I devoured my bowl to the very last rice grain. The vegetables fresh, the sauce ratio ideal, the rice soft, the salmon a perfect chew. All of it topped with some sesame sprinkles and mixed in a rainbow of deliciousness. Saw a few other patrons coming in while we were there, and seemed like regulars with the casual exchanges with the staff. Happy to have found this place and rejuvenated for the rest of our trip.

Go elsewhere for your Poke. Much better options locally. This place is just trying to be a copycat, and failing in that endeavor. Kani and seaweed salad cost extra - included at other places. Portions are smaller than Pokemoto or PokeWorks, very stingy on the protein. Same price. I walked in to pick up my takeout order and staff were all standing in a huddle tending to a single patron. Someone told me "just a second". It was not busy. All they needed to do was hand me the bag that was sitting there on the counter, but I stood there politely for 10 mins trying to flag someone down while 5 staff members just stood there actively trying not to make eye contact. My takeout container was exactly half full, and overall quality poorer than either of the two main competitors noted. Large pieces of veg sloppily chopped. I like jalapeños, for example, but I don't want to run across a huge stalky piece of raw jalapeño. The main "Poke sauce" is wasabi flavored, and it should have stated that. I was fine with it, but it's not something everyone likes, and it was very overpowering. In my opinion the menu is also too large. Just do good poke and forget about the rest of it. This is not good poke, just an attempt to cash in on a trend. Not recommended.

I have avoided making a Yelp account my whole life but when I tried PokePro the other day, I immediately knew it was time to leave my first ever review. As soon as we walked in the 2 women working voiced super genuine welcomes and I loved that. I made my own custom bowl which is normally a nightmare for me because I have the hardest time deciding what I want out of fear of picking things that wont go well together and ruining the whole bowl (also sometimes at Poke/Sushi places I'm afraid I'll pick something that doesn't taste fresh and it'll kill my vibe) -- But the absolute saint of a woman behind the counter was so eager to offer me advice and encouraged me to taste anything I wanted so I could make choices I was happy with. I got brown rice which I thought would be disappointing but it was so fluffy and delicious. The toppings I chose were all on the healthy side and every single thing in my bowl was incredibly crisp and fresh and so delicious - I truly cannot say enough good about the quality of the food. SO good. No part of my meal was less than a 5 star experience. I purposely stopped eating half way thru my meal and asked for a lid so that I could enjoy it again a few hours later and it was just as incredible the second time. The portion was big enough to fill me up both times and the price was entirely reasonable. A million stars. I haven't stopped thinking about my bowl since I finished it I can't wait to make my way back to Norwalk for another one.

SO delicious and the staff is always so friendly and helpful!! I love coming here after running errands or going to the gym next door. It's conveniently located in a shopping center with lots of parking - unlike other poke places - and there are so many delicious menu items to choose from!

I remember a couple months ago I order from this place for the first time through Uber eats, and I have to say I'm very impressed in their food taste very delicious and the portions are amazing And I'll most likely order from here again and not to mention the food is very filling and rewarding to eat! Just kind of surprised this Restaurant doesn't have a lot of reviews because it deserves more.

I stopped by a few weeks ago to grab a casual lunch on the go. I definitely wasn't disappointed as Pokepro was the best poke I had in a while. The fish was ver flavorful and fresh, and I loved the variety of toppings included in the poke bowl. I can't wait to come back to try their vegetarian ramen and bubble tea offerings. Also the staff was very kind and welcoming. Looking forward to returning soon!

I ordered two miso ramen with a load of add-ons to go following the epic snowstorm... it was positively delicious. Broth was balanced, savory and had the perfect aspect of heat... pork belly was cooked to perfection and I love how they prepare the perfect tamago (egg). A special treat is the saki flight-- Hayro is very well versed in his tasting note knowledge and origins of the featured sakis and was ultra kind, consistent with his execution of dynamic cocktails behind the bar. Love the ambiance, music is always on point and the bar set-up is ultra inviting... I prefer that over sitting in a booth. Rafael, the manager, was ultra attentive and very gracious towards me as a waiting patron... he even surprised me with a little KFC Bao which was absolutely magical with the sauces provided! Professionalism 10.0 and so endearing! I would recommend double checking your to go orders, especially if the order is a bit complex or heavy on the add-on factor (my cabbage was left out but I believe it was substituted for a larger order of greens)... but Betsy was polite and patient amidst me being a picky foodie in my ordering process! I can't thank this team enough for consistently delicious food and noteworthy customer service... it is ultra popular for a reason! *Posted while currently waiting on yet another to go order-- thank you, Mecha!*

I threw an order in for delivery through Uber Eats while I jumped in the shower. Took 30 minutes to arrive, the food was piping hot and presented beautifully, despite the foil and plastic containers. Overall delicious. The Saigon egg rolls are served with a Vietnamese dipping sauce fresh mint and lettuce wraps, and they were light and crispy and all the flavors together incredible. The KFC bao bun was a little on the dry side, but had a satisfying gochujang glaze with crunchy pickled veggies nestled in a soft pillowy bun. Kimchi fried rice was bursting with flavors and the creamy yolk from the fried egg added a velvety richness. There was a nice presence of bacon, fried shallots and scallion. Overall perfect. Excited to try the Ramen and Pho sometime!

Ive been there for dinner time as well, it's lively, loud in a good way, and immediately feels like somewhere you could stay for hours. I ordered the miso ramen, and it was honestly one of the most satisfying bowls of ramen I've had in Connecticut. The broth was the star of the dish its deep, rich, savory, and layered with that perfect balance of umami and subtle sweetness from the miso and a bit nitty form the sesame seeds. The noodles had the perfect texture: chewy, springy, and able to hold onto the broth beautifully. Nothing was overcooked or mushy . What impressed me most was how balanced the ramen was. Some ramen spots go overboard with salt or spice, but this bowl felt refined. Rich but not greasy. Flavorful but not overpowering. You could tell there was actual technique behind it. The portion size was also generous enough to leave completely full without feeling uncomfortable afterward. The service matched the food perfectly and so freaking sweet. The decor is a lovely authentic izakaya with the wood paneling and everything. It's a beautiful homage to Japanese culture. Ok now menu. Lunch there is great but recommend going for the dinner menu over anything to have more options! The addictive cabbage is just as it says, addicting. It's acidic, savory and has the perfect crunch to it. The crab Rangoons are sooo good. They give you plenty of sauce and you can tell it's the good crab. The cold sesame noodles are perfect! A little bit of heat, a bunch of flavor. I'm drooling just thinking about it! The chili dumplings were good but a little too spicy for me! We also really enjoyed the kimchi carbonara and personally, I'm a sucker for udon noodles! And now the star of the show for me and something I've ordered three times now! The crab fried rice! The crab is so tender and buttery, like it actually melts in your mouth. And the pork belly chunks in it, also tender and delicious. I like dream of this dish every week! And the great thing is you can order the half size during dinner so you can try other things too! This spot is in my top 5 for 2026 so far! Please go try them asap!

After they became aware of the availability of a large space restaurant in the city of Norwalk, the restaurant migrated to its present spot. LOCATION: The restaurant is in a lively location, with a movie theater across the street and a convenient parking lot in the back. ATMOSPHERE: The space, which is divided by walls into three dining areas, has a "shabby chic" aesthetic and is lit by tall and wide paned industrial windows. EXPERIENCE: I've visited for brunch and Happy Hour with friends who live or work in Norwalk. Chef Taibe is creative and skillful, and I'm forever impressed by the dishes he serves. As a result, it comes as no surprise that the restaurant was recognized as best in Fairfield County during the Connecticut Restaurant Association's 2023 Crazies award ceremony. (Chef Taibe was finalist for best chef in all of the state the very same year.) The pimento cheese starter topped with Benton ham jam (happy hour/dinner) and smoked brisket hash (brunch) highlight how Chef Jeff Taibe transforms and elevates common menu items into ones that are memorable and crave-inducing. TIPS: Adding to the menu variety, specials are available between 5-9 pm as follows: Tuesdays: Burger plus Beer combo ($18); Wednesdays: Seafood discounts and specials; Thursdays: Smoked Prime Rib ($65); Fridays: Fossil Farm Game specials. It appears that walk ins are always seated in bar dining area, regardless of whether the central dining area appears free. If you rather not sit on a high top bench or stool, a reservation is recommended. The restaurant is also accessible via a back parking lot entrance.

A great little sushi spot right on the main drag in SONO!…read more I'm always craving sushi (literally always) so when visiting Norwalk, I picked a place within walking distance from our hotel and we gave Oishi a shot. I'm so glad we ended up here because the ambiance was great, the staff was super friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious! We were seated immediately on a Saturday night (which was fantastic because everywhere else was packed). We ordered some appetizers, which were great. The calamari was very crispy. For my meal, I ordered a few small dishes (in true izakaya style) and I loved them all. I'd never seen a tofu skin sushi roll in any of the Japanese restaurants I've been to, so I was excited to try that. It lived up to the expectation. Absolutely delicious. The truffle yellowtail and toro tartar were also great. My friends both ordered hot dishes: yaki udon and ramen with pork. They were also both very happy with their meal. I tried some of the yaki udon and I thought it was super flavorful (and I'm not a big noodle gal)! The waiter brought over shots of saki on the house, which was really nice. I didn't have any since I don't drink, but my friends said it was fruity and enjoyable. We had a lovely time here overall. Cozy vibes. Great food. Friendly staff. I think my only gripe (which is super tiny) is that this doesn't resemble an izakaya well. I think they would have been better off calling it Oishi Sushi or Oishi Japanese Restaurant. The "small plates" part of the menu was small and pretty standard. I expect a lot more variety and interesting dishes at a true izakaya. But overall, really happy with my experience here!
