This restaurant is absolutely amazing, exactly what I wanted here. There are many different combinations you can make, all of which fit together well and fit the theme of the restaurant. (Their pokebap sauce can be put on anything if you like a little spice) I can't recommend highly enough. I made a yelp account just to post this review because I need this place to have the success it deserves! Nothing else like it in Columbus! Note: I love the poeburrito (like a big sushi roll), but you get more food in the also delicious rice-based bowls. A bigger appetite calls for getting a bowl rather than the seaweed wrap. I only wish that they provided calorie/nutritional information... a restaurant like this is healthy and can advertise itself as such, but other healthy places provide macros and calories! That's what prevents me from choosing pokebap more often. read more

Glad i finally tried this place out! My boyfriend had been here a while ago and raved about it. I however wasn't interested because i'm not really into raw seafood other than crab. After talking to a couple about Pokèbap, they said they offer a baked fish option. It was seriously delicious, i was skeptical about the ingredients going together but it honestly was like a giant california roll in a bowl! The style is fast casual so you choose your base, protein, add-on's and such. The employees were super helpful giving us samples and explaining what would go well together. I have heard really good things about this restaurant, so my 11 year old son and I stopped by to try it out tonight. It definitely exceeded our expectations. The food was so good, I can't properly put it into words. The staff was wonderful and helpful with picking what options that I added to my sushi bowl. My son loved it so much that he asked for a second nori "burrito" to go! Finally - I have a place where we can go to get a healthy meal that my son loves! This place is really good! We'll definitely be back. (Poke is fish for people like me that didn't know). I had octopus since that was the one fish protein option that is cooked. I also topped it w/crab (also cooked) but I wish it was a protein choice also instead of a garnish. It's only been open for a little bit so I think a tea option for drink would be nice and another garbage can by the door. I was surprised they gave us a lid when we were dining in and there's no recycle bin either. I absolutely LOVE this place and the staff! I never had a poké bowl until I tried it here and fell in love! It's basically like sushi in a bowl with whatever you want in it! Their fresh selection is superb and their staff is always SO helpful. I love the salmon and you can definitely tell it's fresh! I sometimes bring my homework here and work on it while I snack on some Bap chips and drink a bottle of Aloe Vera. This is one of our favorite poké places in the country. The food is always amazing and has so much flavor. The restaurant is clean and the staff is helpful. There is a jug of free cucumber water, which we love. The spam musubi and miso soup are good, too. The sauces are great! My daughter & i love coming here. We both get brown rice bowls with salmon or tuna. The ingredients are very fresh. My daughter always gets the miso soup & she loads it up with toppings. They serve fresh cucumber water (free). After eating there, my body just feels great-like I just finished a yoga class. The restaurant is very clean. read more

Disappointed. My fault was ordering the onions not thinking they'd be cooked in soy sauce (soy allergy) but what disappointed me from their side is the serving size. They do have wifi and a good amount of seating, so it was a good place to work for a minute and eat something pretty healthy! When I first read the reviews, I was honestly really excited to try out this place- the food seemed cool and very diverse with its mixture of Asian foods and Hawaiian. However, my heart sank when I first entered to get some takeout with my family as the prices were a bit ridiculously high. I mean $13 for your specialty which honestly does not have that much expensive ingredients? It's really not worth it for a Chipotle copy cat. The restaurant itself wasn't a place that I would eat food in with friends as their tables were very big and there was little space. It didn't help that it was kind of echoey and you have to speak up a bit because there was a lot of sounds. Someone also noted that they kept the raw fish in open air, which makes me question how safe it was to eat those (I later suffered in the restroom later that night which might be from that). I had some issue with the food itself. I ordered a Volcano, but when I tasted it, it was honestly just like a giant spicy sushi roll in a bowl form. You know, the ones that you sell in Kroger? For $6 or less? Yeah no, it wasn't worth the money and the diarrhea that I suffered. For what it's worth, I have now learned not to necessarily trust Yelp reviews. Pretty good. It was a little busy when we were there, and the staff seemed to be overwhelmed, making everything about ordering seem very chaotic. They were out of a few things, but told us ahead of time what those things were, and gave us some free seaweed chip things to make up for it, so that was nice. The food was very fresh and quite tasty. I've been pretty loyal to Poke Bros since they opened, but wanted to try a new place. Oh my gosh is this place amazing!!!! I cannot believe how tasty my meal was. I got the signature pokebop over brown rice. The fish was super tasty. Mine had salmon, tune, yellowtail and octopus. The fish tasted very fresh and they give you quite a bit of it! The veggies are fresh and flavorful. The sauces are super yummy and really bring the flavor out in the food. All of this for 13$! Food is good and fresh. Lots of different options to choose from to make a delicious meal. It's a little pricey and a lot of the extras cost an extra dollar or two. I got a bowl with salmon and paid a dollar for seaweed. Plus a drink on top of my bowl and it added up to be $15. This is by far the best Poke in Columbus! It's more expensive for a reason and after tasting their Poke bowls you will understand why. Everyone frowns on Spam consumption but this place perfects how it's served. A thin slice of Spam fried in a perfect sauce placed on an oval shaped pad of white sticky rice joined together with a seaweed wrap in the center. It's life changing. I love Ahi Tuna and have eaten at all of the well known places who serve it and I would go here over any upscale restaurant known for it's sushi! You will love Poke Bap! read more
