Grabbed a poke bowl from here for lunch. Typical sushi-style poke spot, walk down the line, pick your base, fish, sauce and mix-ins, a'la Subway style, and walk out with a customized poke bowl. Everything was fresh, there just wasn't anything to distinguish it from the many, many, many other similar spots that do poke like this. read more

I mean, I found several bones in my salmon. I think that's enough said. It makes me really sad, since this used to be one of my favorite poke places. But over the years, their QC has dropped significantly. The rice was probably my favorite part of the bowl I ordered today at noon, and even then, there was some burnt rice. Not worth the ~$19 I paid. There are better poke places in Irvine. Also, I asked for a regular bowl and the woman behind the counter said "you mean medium?" Why even have the sizes on the board as "small", "regular", and "large"? In response to Xiaoming L.: the regular bowl was $16.95 + tax which brought it to $18.26. I couldn't remember off the top of my head, but knew it was close to 19. Hence the use of the "~" to indicate approximately. read more

Decided to go here to try a new poke place. Got 2 scoops (1 tuna and 1 salmon which costed 49 cents extra). The fish quality was good and good standard sides but the rice was really hard/dry. Maybe it was on off day for the rice but it made it harder to enjoy the meal with the rice. read more

Food is good, but unfortunately they added the new extra cost for salmon scoops. My favorite is their salmon mixed with their house special sauce. Service and ambiance are nothing out of the ordinary. There's an assembly line like Chipotle where you pick your fish, vegetables, sauce, etc. There is plenty of seating outside if inside gets full. This has been a favorite spot of mine for a few years and I can't believe I never did a review. This place has the most delicious poke with so many choices. I am a HUGE fan of the poke wrap, which they don't have any longer. Staffing issues= no wrap. Sad face. Either way, I still love it and appreciate the staff that js there busting their butts to keep the line moving fast. Definitely one of the best poke spots in OC! read more

My bf and I came here after gym nearby tonight around 715pm. They weren't closed for another hour but both of the workers there looked dead and ready to go home. I'm not sure about the good reviews of great super nice staff, I didn't not experience that. Both of them gave me zombie stare and didn't really answer my questions when I asked. It was our first time there and I wouldn't know how they do their poke here!? I asked for furikake at the end and the lady either didn't hear me or just ignored me. I didn't bother to say it the third time out loud that I wanted sesame and furikake! Food quality was okay, tuna didn't taste too fresh some pieces tasted fishy but we did come to a poke place 1 hour near closing time... plus the full service, I'm sorry I didn't experience the 4 star experience and have to give it a 3 stars. This used to be my favorite poke place but man has it gone down hill. Walked in today to order dinner after the gym and they were BLASTING music to the point I couldn't hear the staff. Next we get to the food and they are out of avocado. I don't know about you but I feel like avo is pretty important in a poke bowl. I ask if they can sub anything or do anything for me since they don't have a staple ingredient and they rudely say no. The fish portion also have gotten smaller and the price has gone up. Poke was pretty good. All issue I had was I had it in the to go box and the box fell apart. So I had to eat whatever was leftover that didn't come out of the box. They don't put much topping. I've been here a few times in the past, this time I took my brother & sister, they literally skimped mine & my brother's large order which is already over priced to begin with, we take a look at the bowl of the customer's behind us & their large bowl has twice the amount of meat & packed to the brim ours didn't even make it half full, yet we're charged the same amount, very disappointing to say the least, not the place you want to spend your hard earned money. read more

This was always my go to place for Poke a couple times a month HOWEVER, I have to say I have had diarrhea the last time (as did a coworker) and also another time before that (which was a little worse). Not going back. Seems like there was a change in ownership or management and just not the same. Prices up quality down. Lines used to be out the door. No longer. I suspect I am not alone! read more

I was mortified when I got to the bottom of my poke bowl and found something wiggling and slowly moving around! I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing. What is even more disappointing is I had called poke dot & left a voicemail to the manager about the incident & no one had the decency to return my phone call. That showed me how much they cared about their customer. I will not be returning to this establishment. This used to be my favorite Poke spot but ever since the ownership changed, it's been a complete letdown. The food quantity has taken a significant hit. Food portions are not as before, the rice is typically hard and it just makes this inedible . The once-friendly staff now seem disinterested. I give up. Good luck with your business. read more

Located at the Square (Free WiFi in the plaza!) Solid poke place! About $14-15 for a large bowl (A large is filling enough for two people). A large comes with 5 scoops of protein (Regular is 3). Fish is fresh, the toppings are all fresh. I love the miso too! This is basically my "old reliable" of poki, the portions are exactly right for the price I mean you just cannot go wrong. Will continue to be a regular here :) PRO TIP if you love spicy get the volcano 3 on the side and dip your fish in it, it's SOOO good but SUPER spicy... my mouth is watering just thinking about it

Love the vibes here, but a little more expensive comparatively to other Poke places in OC.
