This was some of the best poke I've ever had! I got the mini bowl and it was amazing! Perfect size to not feel super stuffed afterwards too. The food came out super fast too! The food truck area itself was perfect for a quick rest stop on the road to Hana.
Poke was ok, nothing super special as I had hoped to experience while in Hawaii. Garlic shrimp on the single kabob we ordered ($10) were a little dry and not very flavorful.
Since the food options are limited in Hana, it was nice to get poke from this food truck. The fish was quite fresh and soft, and the mix of sauces was tasty, although the sauce was a bit too heavy for me. The ratio of fish, rice, vegetables was not ideal (mostly rice, minimal greens, and a standard amount of fish). There's a 3% charge if you use credit card so the total was around $24. The meal was overall enjoyable.
Food: 3 Service: 3 Ambiance: 3 After our long drive to Hāna, we were definitely craving some local-style poke, and several people recommended we check out Pokey Bobb's. It's located in a small cluster of food trucks, which is really neat because you get that true local, roadside vibe. There are a few other food trucks in the area, but we were specifically looking for Pokey Bobb's -- and headed straight there. To be perfectly honest, the person working in the truck wasn't very friendly, which was a bit of a turn-off at first. But we were already set on getting poke, so we ordered anyway. I ended up ordering poke, and it was delicious -- fresh and flavorful -- but it didn't completely blow me away the way I expected given all the hype. Still, it was solid and definitely hit the spot after a long drive. I do recommend Pokey Bobb's if you're craving poke while in Hāna, and especially if you want something quick, local, and tasty in a fun food-truck setting.
Stopped by the Poke Bobs food truck for a late lunch on our Road to Hana journey. We ordered our food, and the friendly staff member prepared it right away. They have sriracha and soy sauce available to add on to your liking. We split the poke bowl and poke burrito. Both were excellent. The poke was super fresh and so light in color that I thought it was a tomato! But I think I like eating my poke in bowl form better. We took our food to go and headed down to the picnic tables at the Hana Beach Park to enjoy the ocean air and views. I highly recommend taking the nice break from the car. Gotta love a business that has a sense of humor. The tip jar says something to the effect of "give us a tip and we'll show you our bobs."
Poke, or "cut pieces" in Hawaiian, fundamentally was a way for fishermen to preserve their catch, rubbing it with seaweed, sea salt and crushed nuts. It's an indigenous dish of the Hawaiian islands and more recently became a staple across the United States. While many varieties exist, Poke Bob's has an undeniable place the world of poke, serving very high quality fish with a succulent marinade. The result is simply perfection and likely the best poke of the trip to Maui. Pleasant people and a fun colorful food truck make the experience worthwhile and this may just be the best food in Hana, although a few other spots around are more popular.
Simple menu, delicious flavors. I was there on a Sunday around 4:30pm and my food came out immediately. I like that they have non-seafood options as well. This is a food truck lot with outdoor seating only. Not sure if they have restrooms or not as we took our food to go
Some of the best poke I've ever had. Great staff and good overall experience. Camron was awesome and the lady working with him. Had to come back again on the way back from Hana.
Poke was amazing. Menu is small but they do it well. Service was fast. Ambiance was a food truck. Limited seating.
I got a super ono BBQ chicken "poke style" bowl for lunch. It was very filling, chicken was cooked just right, rice was perfect. Service was friendly and they will give you a free poke sample if you ask! Imo one of the best food trucks in Hana.
The poke was very delish! And I loved the sushi burrito the sauce is really yummy. Fresh!!
I kind of regret that I only ordered a small size because I wanted to try other things at the pod however of all the things I tried this was by far the best one. It took them maybe 15 minutes to make my bowl , despite no wait but its fine since that gave me time to go order at the other carts . They don't have a dedicated spot for seating which was a bummer .The fish was fresh and the sauces really good and not overpowering the dish .

Stopped by for a late lunch on the Road to Hana and this place was just what we needed to fill our poke craving!! The fish was so fresh and tender, perfectly marinated, and the sauce paired nicely! We also got the garlic shrimp, which we really enjoyed as well! They were also super kind and gave us a complimentary bowl of freshly made poi! read more

The lady at the truck was super kind, and I loved their Poké Bowl! Super big portion and all the portions of fish, mayo, and rice came together perfectly (especially after a long drive to Hana) , I want to revisit to try their kabob next time! - Miguel Morales Photography read more

An excellent option in Hana's food truck selection. You can smell the delicious kebabs, especially the pineapple ones, from far away- yum! I enjoyed the poke burrito, especially the added avocado and the sweet sauce. Also, the salad dressing that comes with the kebab boxes was one of the best I've had. Cons: takes a long time to get the food, pricey (even for the area). Given the other options in Hana, this may be the best (or if not, it's close). read more

I honestly did not have a bad experience with them. Service was prompt. I didn't have to wait long for my food. I got the poke bowl and poke burrito. I favor the burrito over the bowl, a lot more flavor in my opinion. Both are still good though. read more

I came here after hiking at Haleakalā because of the high reviews in yelp. I got here around 6:15 pm and the woman working at the truck seemed very overwhelmed-- she was working the truck solo and it seemed like she was backed up 5 orders and I had to wait for a while before she even took my order. She seemed frazzled but the food coming out looked decent. There aren't too many options open in Hana around 6:30 pm and this seemed like a decent spot. Bring cash if you can, otherwise the credit card app on the workers phone is a bit temperamental. It was $22 for my poke bowl. The kabobs the folks in front of me ordered smelled good-- and I considered getting a grilled pineapple side while I was waiting because it took so long for my food to come out. read more

danielle is one of the most loving people you will ever meet (sprinkling all her sentences with profanities ), the pokey bowl is incredible get the big one, it's so so so so so good I love this place read more
I've gotta say, this Poke is pretty awesome! The fish is fresh and the rice is warm and fluffy. The portion is decent for the $17 price tag. This place is just off the Hana Hwy and it shares its location with a few other food trucks. Decir-it's a food truck, so not much to say about it. It's got picnic tables on the asphalt and no shade. I'll say the bugs were going nuts out there today. I know, not their fault, but still needed mentioning. Service-was great. The young guy helping was very friendly and very Hawaiian. He just seemed so relaxed and calm, I lived his vibes. Food-Poke bowl was a good size for the price tag and had a good serving of Ahi in it. The "spicy mayo" was a bit too spicy for my wife, but she muscled through it. We will be back before flying home. read more

Food was fantastic. Service was friendly and attentive. I was very impressed by knowledge about my gluten issues. Added: We ate here a second time...did not disappoint. Both the kabobs and poke options are VERY good. read more
