We stopped here before we left to go back to Wailea, and it was just what we needed. The burritos were massive, and very fairly priced at $14-$18 (with protein). You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck here. My husband loved the carne asada, and I loved the chipotle sauce that comes in it. Definitely recommend getting a side of the Crema, which is sour cream & lime juice. They have convenient shaded picnic tables with fly fans. Highly recommend if you're visiting Hana!! read more

We thought the place was cute, service good. The salsas were particularly flavorful. I had a grilled shrimp burrito. It had very few hard to find chewy shrimp. The beans and rice were good. But, it should be called a bean burrito. Spouse had some kid of meat. Carne asada perhaps? It was dry and very little meat. Again overall the burrito was good with the fresh beans and salsas. Others in our group had tacos, none of us were wowed. Would I return? No? I would avoid Mexican food entirely as Maui does not generally do it well. read more

How could this be rated #8 in Hana for tacos and the #1 listed has 3.7 stars...?!? Really?? Anyways ... this place is THE BOMB!!! Consistently GREAT, excellent prices and generous portions. Always makes an impression when you see a ton of Hana locals in line to eat!! We are from "the other side" in Kihei and we don't miss a chance to eat here whenever we are in town! I love the gringo fish taco and the coconut limeade- my husband loves the HUGE crunch wrap! We have tried a lot of things and really nothing disappoints! Don't miss an opportunity for FANTASTIC Mexican food on Maui- of which TJ err is really slim pickin's!! VERY cute decor, cutest truck and the menu is a bunch of signs all hand done and really colorful. The picnic benches are turquoise!! And they even epoxy-d them to keep them really nice and easy to clean! Absolutely recommend- it a DONT MISS rating for us!! read more

Órale Taco - Churros! Sweet and cinnamon-y - Food Trucks Near Me - Hana, Hawaii

So glad we stumbled on this place in the little food truck court! I'm vegetarian and my friend is vegan, so traveling with normal eaters can be difficult. First of all this taco truck has the sweetest pup lounging about and accepting belly rubs! Second, they were so sweet and friendly-- explained patiently the vegan and vegetarian options. I ordered a veggie quesadilla (came with pickled red onions--one of my favorite condiments and a delicious not-too-spicy chipotle sauce) and a coco-limeade that was the most refreshing drink I think I've ever had in my life. My friend ordered the veggie burrito and the staff were so kind to alter it so it would be vegan. The food was phenomenal! This truck is tucked away behind some of the other food trucks, but you can't miss the fun vibrant turquoise colors and don't forget to pet Mochi the dog!! read more

Everything we ordered was great, but I especially enjoyed the shrimp tacos!! Chips and guacamole were a close second.

This place was AMAZING. We stayed in Hana and wanted something easy on the way out for lunch. After looking at the menu, I chose this place. I had a chicken taco, Al pastor and a bean and cheese burrito. Seriously some of the best tacos I've ever had. I've been to Mexico throughout my entire life, in the local areas. And I live in Vegas, where we have amazing Mexican food. So that should tell you how tasty this place is! Def go try them out if you're in Hana. read more

We were driving the Road to Hāna and had this place recommended to us. Wow was it a great recommendation! The gringas chicken tacos we got were possibly the best tacos we've ever had anywhere. If we were hungrier we would've eaten more than one each for sure! We also split a chicken quesadilla and it was also possibly the best we've ever had. The service was amazing and so friendly. Menu looked great, wish we'd gotten more! Nice area to eat as well. I cannot recommend this place enough! read more

This awesome taco place in Hana is where we stoped for lunch when we did our famous "road to Hana" drive. It was quick it was delicious and we were famished after all the swimming at the waterfalls and the walks at the stops. The owner who is also the chef gave this place a very welcoming vibe and treated us like guests at home. I will recommend. I got the shrimp tacos and went for seconds and got the garlic shrimp taco and my husband got 2 rounds of al pastor. Everything tasted amazing!!! read more

If you're hungry after the beach, this food truck is the move. The garlic shrimp burrito was loaded and flavorful, the chicken burrito bowl was fresh and filling, the Crunchwrap was next-level delicious, and don't even get me started on the churros . Add in the Mexican sodas and you've got the perfect meal. The portions are massive (bring your appetite or a friend to share), and the staff could not be nicer--they make you feel like a regular right away. Plenty of space to chill and eat too. A definite must-try if you're nearby. read more

Garlic shrimp tacos are the bomb. The chipotle crema that accompanies many of the dishes is so well balanced and tasty.
