Unfortunately, our experience with this office and its billing department has been very frustrating. We have encountered ongoing issues with insurance claims, and despite confirmation from our insurance provider regarding the information needed for proper processing, the claims were not submitted correctly. As a result, we have repeatedly been contacted for payment on a balance that should have been addressed through insurance. After speaking directly with my insurance carrier, I was informed of the specific steps needed to resolve the issue. However, the billing department has declined to resubmit the claim, leaving me to handle the matter myself. If you're looking for a smooth and hassle-free experience for your orthodontic care, this was not our experience. What's especially disappointing is that we used this office about eight years ago and had an excellent experience. I'm not sure what has changed since then, but the difference has been significant. read more

I am so sad that I have to leave this review but I am genuinely concerned about the well being of patients after what I experienced. I had a consult for my child about two weeks ago. I called ahead to say I'd be a bit late, and the person on the phone was understanding. But once I arrived, the staff and nurses were cold, rude, and gave us dirty looks. At first, I thought I might be imagining it, but their attitude toward other patients was completely different. I don't know if it was because I'm Middle Eastern, but it felt discriminatory racist and unprofessional. My child is shy, and they were not warm or gentle at all. It felt like we were being targeted or judged, which is unacceptable in a healthcare setting. The staff, especially the women, acted more like caddy high school girls than medical professionals. The clinic's hygiene also seemed questionable. I had scheduled a follow-up, but then got a cold, demanding text saying the appointment had to be changed due to "overbooking." I know that wasn't true because it was booked again at the same time as the consult so they were trying to be harsh. It didn't feel honest or respectful, and the tone was unnecessarily harsh. I don't think I have ever gotten such a cold and disrespectful message from any medical office. I really wanted to like this place, but the experience left me upset and deeply concerned. No one should be treated this way. read more

Run!! Rude and condescending staff! Limited hours of service. No flexibility for appointment's and in my opinion shoddy work!!! This place makes it clear their time is more important than yours. The scheduling child who manages the scheduling times (she looks about a day over 12 and acts like it) will push you to pull your child out of school to accommodate the Dr's schedule. Unacceptable!!! Also, 90% of your visits you will never see Dr. Poidmore! He is totally MIA. Most of the time an "in over her head" assistant works on your teeth. Also, unacceptable! For the money I spent I should get to see the doctor every time I had an appointment. . Also, on my opinion (Susan) the condescending, petty, crackpot - Financial Coordinator should be fired! Rude is an understatement when it comes to this person. Also, the all girl staff act like caddy high school kids. It's quite comical to watch the office politics play right in front of customers! I could go on and on but you get the picture. In my opinion, you can do better! if you or your child needs braces skip simply this place. Or at least don't believe the smoke and mirrors, mirage BS this place sells you. Check around and do your due diligence, you'll easily find a better, more professional office to spend your hard earned money! I should have checked around but I didn't and paid dearly for it! Wish I could give extra stars. If stars were a GPA, these guys would have a 4.5. Wow, homeschooling has taken it's toll on me. Anyway, Dr. Poidmore is fantastic, has an excellent chair-side manner and just as important, he has assembled an amazing, caring, well oiled machine of a crew. My son's teeth were a TRAIN-WRECK! Dr. Poidmore gave us an amazing deal on phase one braces so my son didn't have permanent gum damage. Yes, his teeth were that bad. I'll post pictures soon. Oh and they provide financing with 0 interest. Yup, Zero! They have always been very accommodating and truly have their patients best interest at heart. Dr. Poidmore and his staff, are in my opinion, the saving grace of the dental profession that has become as suspect as the typical auto mechanic due to unnecessary procedures and unexplainable upcharges.
