I came to Weideman after relocating to Sacramento and spending 10+ years with my prior dentist, so I was pretty anxious and wasn't sure what to expect. For me, anyone who you trust with your smile is a pretty dang big deal. Alli, Hillary, and Dorell won me over before I got in the chair--the kindest, most empathetic office team you will ever meet. Then I got paired up with Dr. Andrea for my routine cleanings and she's just a sweet gem--so incredibly patient and answered all my questions! Myla and Stephanie are my regular dental assistants--and they had me smiling and laughing! Cody, the guy that puts on their events is awesome and makes the atmosphere so fun and engaging! Even when I transitioned jobs/insurance, they have an in-house dental plan that is a sweet value! I couldn't have asked for a better place for all my dental needs. I am in need of orthodontics in the near future and plan to go nowhere other than Weideman. If you're reading this, I know you have a ton of options to choose in Sacramento and Northern California and quite honestly, maybe even some cheaper options, however, this is our dental health we're talking about, our smile and our confidence. First, they charge outrageous prices--hundreds out of pocket per kid--even after insurance. We figured we just had mediocre coverage through Delta Dental, until we went to a different pediatric dentist in Roseville with the exact same insurance... and paid nothing. Everything was covered. So what exactly makes Weideman so special? Honestly, it feels like they've found a loophole to charge whatever they want while leaving parents to fight with their insurance company for scraps. And reading through other reviews it is clear that I'm not the first to complain about this. To make things worse, one of their techs tried to charge us twice for a simple X-ray--just because my 4-year-old moved slightly. When I objected, they said they'd remove the charge. Then they argued with me at checkout to try to add it back in. Are you kidding me? He's four. What did they expect--perfect stillness and a signature? For a place that already bills over $600 per kid out of pocket, the idea that a redo X-ray costs extra is laughable. The whole experience felt nickel-and-dimey and exploitative. Save yourself the frustration--we will NEVER be going back.

It took a few extra months due to an unexpected gap but happy with the results! My first retainer they made didn't pop in right, but they made it right with me and made a new one that fits perfect.
