They noticed that the table where we sat was a little wobbly, so they fixed it right away. We ordered a glass of red wine, a hot and sour soup, sesame chicken, beef kate-kare, a diet coke, leche flan and halo-halo. I was a bit hesitant about ordering the wine. I asked for a sample, and found out that it was decent, so I ordered a full glass. My partner, Stuart, loved the hot and sour soup. He said that it was better than Qi's hot and sour soup. He really enjoyed the sesame chicken with the broccoli being a little crispy. As for my beef kare-kare, it was a new experience for me. I've only had this dish with oxtail. It is served with a lovely side of bagaoon for a burst of flavor. The leche flan was too eggy for my friend, but a nice reminder of home for me. I love when halo-halo has bits of flan on it. Today, it did, so extra flan always makes my day. Altogether, the food, cleanliness and attentive service give this restaurant 5 stars!

This was enough of a change to make us source dinner elsewhere and wonder why they haven't reprinted their paper menus or update their website.

I somehow found this place on my IG feed and added it to my list of places to try and since I knew this was a cloud kitchen I was glad they were also available on the delivery apps so decided on this place for lunch. You can also order directly and pick it up as well to save on service fees and delivery costs. I grew up eating Filipino food and so to me this is comfort. The pancit (noodle) was tasty and had enough sweet to cut the soy. It's a combination of meats and a good pancit is always how the vegetables are cut and definitely how the cabbage is hand torn. It's also how the sauce is braised and integrated into the noodles. This definitely is more braised and so you would typically squeeze wedges of lemon to cut the flavor; iykyk that Filipinos tend to like sour and vinegar so adding lemon as an accoutrement is a must. The pancit bihon also comes with 4pcs of lumpia shanghai. The filling was delish probably one of the better lumpia's available in the Austin area (there aren't many options) but this one goes to the top though they could probably be more crispy and tightly rolled but I think I like they didn't roll them so perfect to make it more home style. I am also a fan of the little Mac salad that came with my dish. If you're familiar with the Hawaiian style it's almost the same but the Filipino one adds chicken and is slightly sweeter pineapple and sweet relish. They also have Filipino bbq, bangus (milkfish), your -log style dishes which are savory sometimes sweet proteins over rice and a fried egg. Weekends appear to have some special items. They even have kare kare (a traditional peanut curry with vegetables and oxtail) and a clear beef soup with soup bones and cabbage. Can't wait to try more of their menu. If you're missing Filipino food and you're in north central Austin this is really one of two places and if you haven't tried home style Filipino food this is a good day to try.
