They don't recommend for kids/teens, because people are joking and talking ish and some of the improv could take a spicy turn at any moment. The chef and the actors walk around to the tables and introduce themselves. People come here to let out a laugh and unwind. The Food: Delicious! The crab cake sandwich was big/fresh all lumps with crispy hot fries that did not disappoint. The package comes with several options, from homestyle meat loaf to Mediterranean salad with chicken stuffed pita that my friend said was really good. You get 2 courses and a non-alcohol beverage. Dessert was good, a dark fudge cake with strawberries and whipped cream, enjoyable. The Drinks: The 2 martini's I had weren't blended well. I would stick with wine or something like a rum & coke. The Storyline: Creative and funny, about a dating show where the two contestants need to stay together for 3 years to get the million-dollar jackpot. Only issue, there's a love triangle. So, you can imagine who all had motives to secure the bag. They bring the audience into the story with question prompts and even had me in the hot seat for questioning by a detective. So hilarious! Looking for something different to do and you feel like meeting people over good food and theater, THIS IS IT!

You can participate or not in the show, as much or as little as you choose. The non-alcoholic beverages are included but they do offer alcohol for purchase. The servers were super and the cast was amazing. You can heckle the cast, ask questions of the suspects or just sit back and watch the performance. The show was full of humor and some double-entendres. The restaurant was a little chilly so where something a little heavier or bring a coat. Best 3.5 hours I've spent in a while and totally worth the ticket price. The whole show takes place in and around the diners making for an up close and personal experience. Don't miss going to one of their shows. Totally worth it!

While scouring for a team building event for work, we decided to reach out to this company. Their website is forthcoming with a ton of information, but they were helpful on the backend of things. Purchasing tickets was easy, and it's great that tickets were available until the day of the event. I have never been to one of these things before but was kind of exciting. I have heard that it can be cheesy or campy, but I'm up for the camp. Who doesn't love dinner and a show? We had a large group, around 40 people or so and with prior warning they were able to make it work where our whole group sat in a designated area. That also kind of played into the whole way this played out. Before you come here they will send you an email with information on how to proceed. You will get confirmation numbers after you select your meal. Chicken, fish, or vegetarian are your choices. They also tell you that the actors will be intermingled throughout the crowd. Having four tables taken up by your group cuts down on who the actors are and helps you out in the end. The show is entertaining. I laughed a few times to the point where I had heads turn my way. The actors were spot on for their script and at the end of each act, which you should pay attention to, you are given a QR code to go through the clues. As the show is going on you are treated to a meal. But it is not obviously the best selection of food. As this is being hosted at a hotel, you are eating hotel food that you might find if you attended a banquet at said hotel. It fits the bill for dinner and a movie, but otherwise, nothing to write home about. Back to the show portion. I forgot to mention that you have a mingling session at the start. You are encouraged to go around the room and network to see if you can get any information on who you might think are the actors before you really know they are an actor. At the end, you get to write down your answers to see if you are right. You most likely will be right, but a majority of the room will probably be right as well. The thing I didn't like about it was that even though you might have the right answer, you most likely will not get picked as the winner at the end of the night. You will most definitely see that the winner will have been sitting at the table with the 'whodunnit' all along. It isn't that bad of a night. It is a great time to be had. You are paying for dinner and a show and that they deliver on. The actors are hilarious, and when they need to attend to business they attend to business. We had one person who needed a vegan option and they pulled through for us at the last minute. I really appreciated that.

We came here for the Disney Encanto event, and it was a huge hit with my 3-year-old. I was honestly so impressed that he stayed engaged for the entire event, which ran from 3:00 to 5:30. The talent was incredible, and the whole experience felt very special while still being kid-friendly. The staff was friendly, and I also appreciated that the bathrooms were clean, which always matters when you're out with little ones. A couple things to note: the food options were very limited. They had mostly snack foods like chips, popcorn, and candy, along with a small selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I do wish they had more substantial options like hot food or even simple sandwiches, especially for families attending longer events. For seating, we sat in Left Orchestra, Row G. For us, those seats felt a little too close. It felt like we were right under the players, and we couldn't fully see the whole orchestra the way I would have liked. If I went again, I would definitely choose center seats farther back or possibly even balcony seats for a better overall view. Parking is something to keep in mind. We paid $15 to park in the garage across the street for the event, but there also seemed to be street parking available around the hall. Overall, this was a really fun and memorable family outing, and I would absolutely recommend it to other

Not the most attractive building but the inside performance space is incredible and the acoustics were great. We came for the Halloween performance with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. My partner and kids fell fast asleep but I loved it. We ended up leaving at intermission since they were totally lulled to sleep. I think the Halloween concert was a little too high brow for my kids (and apparently my partner!). But I'm excited to come back for the movie screenings with the orchestra. There are multiple bars on site, where they give heavy pours on the drinks. I got my partner the sparkling wine and he could only finish a quarter of his drink. It was pretty much a full glass of prosecco, which I fully approve!

Going to try to crank out one review today as I monitor work emails. Continuing my alphabet series…read moreonto the letter I representing prior to 2018 is I is for iPic theater and also the 2014 movie, Interstellar! I've been here twice in November 2014 & November 2023. Funny both times were in the month of November, but 9 years apart. November 2014: I was living in northern VA, and I received free tickets to see Interstellar as this theater had recently opened. My impression in 2014 and still holds true today is that this is the nicest theater I had ever been to. Some theaters have reclining seats, but these are large and you get a blanket if you want. There were some good food options, granted overpriced for what you got, were tasty. I brought a date for those movie showing and paid for our food. I got a burger, and she got a flatbread pizza. Burger was good as I recall. 2017 to coming back here in November 2023: I moved to Maryland in 2017, Wheaton 2017-2020, so wasn't too far from Pike & Rose and did go there sometimes. However, in 2018 I became an AMC A-Lister, so I just go there unless there's a free advanced screening or specific movie I really want to see at Egyptian Cinemark or a Regal that isn't at AMC. In November 2023, iPic held an advanced screening of the Netflix movie, Leave the World Behind. I had 4 tickets, invited several friends. There was a woman I liked who had agreed to go initially, but had an issue with someone else who had promptly responded she would go. Incidentally, the woman who I liked became my girlfriend in February 2024, so it worked out well. Shortly after that she buried the hatchet with that mutual friend. As for the movie screening, while not as great as Interstellar, it was still the same positive experience I remembered from 9 years earlier. Things were chaotic as we were trying to get the food & drink, which was included, but we had to check on the food during the middle of the movie, and I missed the very beginning of the movie as a lot of people did. There was quite a bit of time beforehand, but even with the delays occurring, they should've started the movie late unless there was some late movie showing in that particular theater at 10 PM or something. In summary, this is a very nice theater in spite of a couple of flaws.

The proverbial "if I could give zero stars I would" holds true for this theater. I have been going…read moreto IPIC for years and it is finally on the "never again" list. It has really gone down hill. There was nothing good or redeeming about our experience. Let's start with the ludicrous check in process. You pre-purchase your tickets and they give you an Apple wallet pass. When you get off the elevator there is a clear path to the theaters with a person standing at a podium. However, don't you dare go directly to this person. You need to go check in at the ticket booth so they can give you paper tickets. Then you go back to the podium to show them the paper tickets and go to your theater. It wouldn't be that annoying if every single person didn't do this unnecessary round trip. I watched six families lug their children up and back while standing there. Put up a sign. State this absurd process in the email. Next the service. They include a required 18% gratuity on the bill. For good reason. They would have gotten none if it was discretionary. We were in our seats fifteen minutes before the movie start. Nobody took our order until fifteen minutes into the movie. Food didn't show up until two thirds of the way through the movie. Why spend several hundred dollars to take your kids to dinner and a movie if you don't get dinner and a movie. The people two seats over never got their food. The check never came. I had to ask for the check after the lights were on and credits over. Super annoying when sitting there with three kids under 7. Now the food, barely edible is being generous. It tasted like every item had been submerged in a bucket of grease before, during, and after cooking. I now know what the penguins at an oil spill feel like. Horrible. For the price point service should be good, food decent, and experience frictionless. Ipic bethesda failed in all respects.

It's pretty good, but it was was more warm than hot when brought out to us. They're trying to feed a lot of people on a kind of stagless schedule, so it's obvious that each dish is prepared pretty far in advance and probably sitting under a heat lamp somewhere waiting to come out. The lasagna came with a couple of very nice dinner rolls and was pretty tasty. The salmon was very well done and came with some roasted potatoes. Also pretty good. There was a risotto dish that wasn't bad but wasn't great just okay. Everyone also gets a small very basic salad. For dessert they had a very nice Bundt cake, some strawberry cheesecake, and Pondoro. All were very good. Now, for the show itself. I have been to many Community Theaters and I don't think I've ever seen Talent like this one before. They really were top notch. Very talented group. The actual building itself is a little rundown, especially the carpeting. I would definitely recommend this to other people. It's a high quality show with pretty good food recognizing the limits of what they can do with the number of people with their serving on a stagwood schedule. The service was friendly throughout
