The environment is too controlled and obviously you can only see whatever the camera is pointing at which isn't much in a 3D world. However, the way Adam interacts with his audience actually translates across virtual bounds! Oh Wow! I would give 10 if I could. It was a Bday party alright ! there was music, some where singing along, some were dancing, and all of us were awestruck by the magic tricks. It was soo much fun and to think Adam was sitting right on the other side of the camera doing tricks right in front of our eyes- am sure Steph was not an accomplice ( or was she ...) - she could not have been since he picked out people from the viewers too ;) First the tik tok, where he had guessed what the lady would start her game with, then the hypnosis, and later the card game, and the money game....wish compounding money was just that easy !!!!! Adam was fantastic and so easy going. Anyone could see a bday friend in him. The best was the Yelp paper cutting he made in the end, which reflected Sweet 16....Wow ! unbelievable. It was very entertaining and a little too much that I carried it to the next day and did not want to work.... I got myself a 3 day weekend in my head ! Magic!! ha ha ha Thank you Yelp and Adam. There was not a single dull moment in th whole hour. I took couple videos but they all got corrupted- maybe Adam jinxed it to keep it from piracy ... again, who says magic does not exist !!!! read more

You need to book Adam Stone. That's the conclusion to this review, but we wanted to make sure it was the first thing you see. Adam Stone put on a show that captivated an audience from ages 1 to 80. Throughout his performance you could hear 'Oos' and 'Aahs', laughter, and even silence at parts as people eagerly waited to see what was about to happen. He included kids and adults in his show; working effortlessly with even the most sugar-hyped children there. He was careful to include as many kids as possible and took all of the unexpected actions you get from them in stride. Once his show was done, the guests couldn't stop talking about it. Everyone had parts - adults and kids alike. But the actual show is just one part of the experience of booking and working with Adam Stone. When I first contacted him, he was very quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. On the day of the event he kept me updated on his arrival time, and arrived with plenty of time to set up. When he finished setting up, he took time to get to know the kids; even playing a few party games with them. This helped when it came time to work with the kids during the show. When the show was finished, he spent some time talking to the kids who obviously had many questions about magic. At no point did we feel like he was rushing in or rushing out. He really dedicated time to our party not just during the show, but the before and after as well. If you're thinking of booking a magician, I will tell you this: You need to book Adam Stone.  We cannot thank Adam Stone enough. This was the last trick that he had performed before closing out the show on Yelp's 2020 Sweet 16 Virtual Yelp Event, noice!!! In my previous Yelp review for Adam (Yelp's Sweet 16), I had mentioned "Of course, the final pièce de résistance, Adam creating that cute origami Yelp logo from paper, whoa!!! I had the opportunity to see a magic show by mentalist, Adam Stone, in action, through a virtual event. I really appreciated that Adam performed a variety, so each act was unique and exciting. And, Adam himself was wonderful - Charming, friendly, and just really amazing at what he does. My favorite trick was the first one even though I didn't get picked. Adam asked the person was thinking and played tic tac toe. Adam proceeded to show us that he predicted exactly how the tic tac toe game would go and had written what the person was thinking. Mind blown. He reminded me of the magician that just got through on this season's "America's Got Talent." Afterwards, Adam did a few more tricks. One of them was involving cards, which was pretty cool. He also led us through a guided trick where we all stared at a picture on his website and the picture formed into one of a cow. Another involved giving 3 guests the chance to win some money. He started off with a $1, which he turned into a $10 bill and finally, a $100 bill, which I truly couldn't believe was happening right in front of my eyes. Alas, none of the guests won the money. Instead, they received words of wisdom about money and saving. Last, Adam created paper magic cut out in a matter of seconds! I loved this magic show! At first, I wondered how a virtual magic show was going to work out, but it worked out great! I would definitely love to watch a virtual Adam Stone Magic Show again! We started off with a fun activity. We had to turn off our cameras while playing a game and the last few people with cameras on, were the volunteers picked. Adam showed us a little card that his daughter drew for him and asked the volunteer what they were thinking at that moment. She said the letter "A". I thought nothing of it and continued watching. They played tik tak toe after and I was wondering where this was going. After they finished the game, Adam pulled out a paper that was identical to the tik tak toe paper and in the back was the volunteers prediction! I was pleasantly surprised! Even though it was virtual, it was still very interactive and engaged the audience. Adam Stone showed us some remarkable tricks and left me questioning how he did most of them. In fact, it even made a lot of people call him out for witchcraft in the chat lol. The *only* thing I didn't see was the cow.....but to be fair, I looked at it later, after he told us where to focus our attention. Everything he performed for us was spot-on. I attended a Yelp sponsored virtual event hosted by Adam Stone Magic last week! It was so neat to "travel" to my neighbors in Baltimore to attend a magic show in celebration of Yelp's Sweet 16! Saw Adam perform during a Yelp Sweet 16 zoom event. It was awesome! I loved how Adam was able to use audience participation even though we weren't there in person. Adam performed during Yelp's Sweet 16 virtual event. He did an excellent job of making a virtual magic show entertaining and interactive! He randomly picked participants from the audience by asking yes/no questions that narrowed us down, showing that nothing was set up prior to the event. I'm still trying to figure out how he was able to do his card trick when his participant was using a completely different card deck, several miles away. Before we started and prior to his final trick, he had a dance/music break to keep the energy high and make it feel like we were at a show, rather than in our homes. Each of his tricks was unique from each other and surprised me with his ability to predict thoughts and actions (maybe even some mind reading was involved). Hoping to experience more events like this in the future. Would love to see more of Adam's tricks! read more

I was at an event last night for a TA event where Adam Stone worked his magic. He asked me to write an important date on a piece of paper and placed it into an envelope. Adam gave it to one of the audience members to hold. After a few questions from me, he wrote down a date on a large sheet of paper. It was the date I wrote on the piece of paper, my birth date. I am still blown away. If Adam had a black pointed hat and a wizard's robe he could easily get a teaching position at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry... maybe even become the Headmaster of the school. I am glad I attended Magic with Adam Stone! The hour long show was quite entertaining! Adam was very engaging and the illusions were mind boggling! My favorite trick was the card trick with Meg B.! How did Adam predict the cards on her hand from across the country!? I couldn't wrap my mind around how that would work! That made many of Adam Stone's tricks entertaining! Most of them involved the virtual audience which is cool. My family was highly entertained! When visiting Baltimore, I would totally watch one of his shows live on stage! I saw Adam Stone during a virtual event hosted by Yelp Baltimore. This was an AWESOME event that allowed YelpElite from around the country to join in. With all of the physical distancing, creating this event in order to stay connected is more important now than it has ever been. Adam Stone is amazing! I still can't figure out how he did those tricks and virtually too! That card trick with with Meg B.and also the trick with Stephanie T. predicting what event cards went where were both really cool. A Zoom Magic Show? What even is 2020.... This was such a blast and I was honestly blown away by the caliber of the magic Adam performed. These tricks would have been impressive in person let alone via web chat! Adam is an awesome performer and kept us on our toes throughout the hour. The time genuinely flew by (was time travel a part of the show....?) Stephanie and Meg were excellent hosts and the entire party was fun- from dance breaks to the other Yelpers in the chat.
