We were looking for a DJ who was professional, reliable, in touch with younger crowds, and, most importantly, pro-LGBT. Justin seemed to fit the bill perfectly before we even contacted him, and after meeting him in person we knew we made the right decision! Because we were planning a 1980s formal wedding (yes, that's right!), we knew we needed to work with someone who had a fun, laid-back personality - and Justin did not disappoint. He was as excited about the wedding as we were, and we were truly grateful for his enthusiasm. As expected, Justin was incredibly reliable and flexible throughout the entire planning process, and he accommodated all of our crazy requests right up through the day of the wedding. Needless to say, our wedding was a huge success, and at the heart of it all were Justin's amazing DJing skills. We take our 80s music seriously, and Justin hit every note needed to create the ultimate dance party. Our guests raved about the event, and thanked us for hiring a DJ that knew how to mix music properly. Thank you, Justin, for making our special day totally rad! You rock our world!

From our very first communication with him, Justin was professional, responsive, and eager to help us do exactly what we wanted within our budget. We were NOT disappointed! We found Justin to be by far the easiest and most enjoyable of our vendors to work with. Ours was an outdoor wedding, with a bunch of different sound needs all over our venue. Justin met with us twice in person, exchanged numerous emails, and worked closely with us to figure out everything that would be needed to pull it all off. He was wonderful. Most of all, we just loved his easy-going demeanor-- fit our style perfectly! And of course, our wedding went off beautifully. Perfect music, great dancing, everyone had a blast (and told us so!). Would definitely use him again.

Andrew Larris and DJ John Carmichael elevated the event to levels that I was unaware a wedding could reach. There was not one person sitting at the party when dance music was playing. Everyone was dancing and having an amazing time and they did it without cheesy props or annoying gimmicks. The 01 handled everything from lighting to a photo booth all while maintaining this classy atmosphere of fun and excitement. By the end of the reception, there was not a dry eye in the house. The 01 Music is responsible for taking a magical day and making it something even more amazing. Music selection was perfect for the crowd. Andrew and John seem to really enjoy what they do and it shows in their work. The 01 performed way above expectations and I really appreciate that they made this event so special for me and my family!

The had every person on the dance floor the entire night, across all ages. Andrew provides MC where he is literally dancing and singing into a mic on the dance floor all night with everyone, keeping the hype insanely high. People absolutely flocked to him. That man's energy is so contagious you can't help but have a blast. John as the DJ hit the nail on the head SONG AFTER SONG. Just when you thought you were to tired to keep dancing and wanted a break, he would play another song you just couldn't resist staying for. More than once I saw groups of people run screaming to the dance floor to sing their hearts out and dance when a certain song came on. They made our night perfect. I had several guests get their contact info at the wedding, I would recommend to ANYONE looking for the best DJ around to make their wedding or event the night of their lives. I have been to dozens of wedding and never seen something this entertaining, even better than a band, you have no idea how incredible they will make your event.

Additionally, Hesson was flexible when we needed to reschedule our wedding (twice) due to COVID. The client portal they use is a little unwieldy, but easy enough once you get the hang of it. Overall, highly recommend!

The dance floor was packed all night--to the point that we extended the reception an extra hour because it would have been unfair to stop everyone from having such an amazing time! Scott's ability to balance our personal music preferences with songs that kept every guest dancing was truly impressive. He brought such great energy to the night and played a huge part in making our wedding so memorable. We highly recommend Scott for any wedding or event--you will not be disappointed!

Our wedding was a blast thanks to Shawn (DJ Mixxed). From our first meeting with him, we knew that…read morehe would deliver. My wife and I both love soul music, R&B and hip hop and we get kind of annoyed by super pop-py music. But our wedding was a mixed crowd, with older guests that loved old school soul and younger friends that loved pop and anything that equaled a party. In our first meeting, we provided a long list of songs that described our vibe and Shawn said, "Based on what you'd already told me, I would've played these songs anyway." We talked a few weeks before the wedding to discuss the wedding timeline and he requested that we narrow our list to 5 must-plays and he'd do the rest. On the wedding day he definitely delivered. He played slow jam music for dinner, great as background music. For dancing, he mixed songs together perfectly keeping everyone guessing and excited for what song was next, while also packing in as many songs as possible. He played songs that my wife and I love, that we never even thought to put on our original list. We kept thinking, "How did he know to play that song?" And we weren't the only ones. Shawn catered to everyone's interests without sacrificing the mood we desired for the wedding. The guests stayed on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. He also provided sound and mics for the ceremony and generously coordinated ahead of time with our videographer so that he could record the ceremony sound for our wedding video. Ultimately, I can't say enough about how great Shawn was. Music can be the backbone of your wedding day and he achieved a soulful, comfy and classy dinner mood, followed by an awesome, yet family-friendly party on the dance floor. For any occasion, Shawn listens, cares and can deliver based on your preferences. He takes his work seriously and works hard to provide the soundtrack for your day that fits you. I should add that Elite Mixers, was by far, the most affordable DJ we came across.

I can't recommend DJ Right Touch (Andre) enough!…read more First and foremost, he is the utmost professional. He was willing to send us multiple different estimates, and was clear and concise with what he offerings were. The value was completely worth what he brought to the table, and if I ever need a DJ again, he's the one I'll call. The most impressive thing about Andre was his ability to blend different types of music and keep people on the dance floor the ENTIRE night (and I mean it--it was never empty). My husband's family is from west Africa and my family is mostly from the north east of the US. We asked Andre to keep in mind music for all generations and both of our cultures, and we blended everything seamlessly. I honestly don't know how he managed it, but everyone--from my young cousins to my husband's parents to my conservative grandparents--was absolutely thrilled with the music. What Andre brought to the table in his talent and professionalism is well worth (if not, worth more!) what we paid, and if we could do it all over again he'd be the vendor I secured first!

Juan was the DJ and…read moreAllan and Stacy were our MCs (Stacy was training Allan, which they informed us beforehand; Stacy has 15+ years of experience, and team experience with Juan for 10+ I believe). I do believe Stacy is stepping away from the business, hence the MC in training, but we were lucky to have her with us. We also added the photobooth to our package, manned by Jason Moon. For our initial meeting with them, we just met at a Panera and they were so pleasant and very low-key, which we loved. They definitely have the experience and were confident in their work, but were not at all overbearing, which we had encountered with other DJ/MCs we interviewed. They even gave us tips to ask other DJs/MCs in case we were interviewing with others, like insurance for any equipment and such. We just got a very good, solid vibe from them, and we definitely were happy we hired them. After signing a contract with them (all online, so no need for additional arduous meetups), AJDJ sent us a link to their own online music system where they created an account for us to use. On this site you can list all your wedding details and songs you want for whichever part of the wedding. And they respond very quickly if you leave a message. Juan called me a week before our wedding to confirm songs, timeline, and any additional 'events' (like bouquet toss, which we didn't do, and shoe game, which we did do). They even organized the whole Shoe Game for us! We didn't have to worry about that at all! I thought I'd have to write the questions or explain to them about it, but nope, they handled it, we didn't have to worry about even one question, I just said yes, I want that, and poof, magic, it was sooo much fun. And Stacy is amazing. She was almost like our day of wedding planner. She checked in with us about shifting things when we were running slightly behind schedule, she really helped make the reception run soooooo smoothly. Not just the reception actually, she helped with our processional entrance pacing for the ceremony and reception entrances, and made sure we got to use the photobooth we hired. I wished we pushed the guests more to use the photobooth, it also came with a memory book we used as our guest book! No regrets here, only praise. Everything ran perfectly =).
