Rather, Perry readily identified what would likely make sense for my home, asked incisive and poignant questions about my home security needs, and carefully listened to and thoughtfully answered all my questions. I was also impressed by the service aspects: quick turnaround and express mailing of the document plus notary certification within two days. (In contrast, one service I called in California was vague and who didn't even "hear" on the phone that I was living in Washington DC not Washington state. This is enough to raise questions in my estimation as to their specificity and detail-execution.) Within a short time of sending my letter to Joaquim, I received an email in response and within two days had the express mailed documents in hand. The extra mile they went, to verify the medical terminology with their Spanish editor/translator was appreciated. The price for the meticulous and professional service was fair. I run the Armed Services Arts Partnership (asapasap.org), a non-profit that helps veterans, service members, and military families integrate into their communities through the arts. We frequently host performances featuring our veterans for which we need to provide our own sound equipment. We reached out to Amine at AVA, and, within moments, he offered to donate two speakers, a microphone, and all of the wires we needed. When we picked up the speakers, he provided us with guidance on how to set them up, ensuring we felt confident the evening of the event. Very professional with a friendly atmosphere. I have rented equipment for private parties and Youth organization events and this company has always supplied equipment that was first rate. On one ocassion I forgot to order something for my event. I called the store after hours left a message. I called AV Rentals after getting a recommendation from a friend, and was really happy with their pricing on the projector screens (starting price was around $20 for the whole weekend). This bride-to-be sped from Chantilly to Tyson's, arriving at AV Rentals about 30 minutes before they closed, and after getting some great assistance from their staff, drove away with the right projector for our venue at a cheap price. AV Rentals also have everything else you need in the AV realm, and their staff seem pretty knowledgeable on what you will need.

At first we were thinking of not having a DJ and just using my MacBook Pro for music. However, due to the suggestion from the venue staff at Brookside Gardens to ensure good audio especially with our plans to be outside (though we ended up indoors due to the near freezing temperatures) we started interviewing DJs both from the venue's recommendations and on WeddingWire to see all they had to offer. We found Hercules Entertainment on WeddingWire and got to meet with Will on Zoom who showed us a presentation of all Hercules Entertainment had to offer. We chose Hercules not only because the prices were a good deal for great experience and enthusiasm, but also since in the uncertainty of COVID and the Omicron Variant, they would livestream our event for only a couple hundred dollars more. From the keyboard we rented from them for our aunt to play, to the excellent audio and amplification for the ceremony and reception, to the high quality live-streaming, to the DJing, to the MCing, everything made our day go even better than we could imagine. The livestream remains online and we are able to relive that day with it until our videography is ready. Dozens of friends, coworkers, and family who could not attend in person enjoyed watching the livestream which was of excellent quality. All 56 of us guests attending in person stayed for the reception and loved Will as a DJ and his wife who played numerous favorites including The Horah, The Humpty Dance, Cha Cha Slide, and my wife's favorite, Taylor Swift, who's hit Lover was featured during our first dance and Shake It Off during the bouquet toss. We totally recommend Will and Hercules Entertainment for your big event anywhere in the DC Metro Area.
