From the very start, Mike's backdrop, his red coat, magic wand, hat and lectern created an aura that we were being treated to show from a professional magician. And it really felt like that. Mike was a blast! My son (the Birthday boy) was literally rolling around on the ground with laughter. Everything was super simple from beginning to end (pre-party planning, setup, etc). It was the least stressful part of the party, and Mike was a true professional. Other magicians were going to charge extra for a live dove and rabbit. Mike performed at our daughter's 7th birthday yesterday. What a hit! The kids were in the palm of his hand the entire time; just enthralled for an entire hour (not easy with 7 year olds!). We expected magic, but he also interspersed a little physical comedy and animal balloons, and the kids at it all up. He really knows how to gear a show to this age group. I would also add that the parents (and grandparents) in attendance also thoroughly enjoyed it (and were trying to figure out how he did some of those tricks for quite a while after he left).
